How to change memory (-Xms, etc.) without configtool

Does anyone know what property file to modify to set VM parameters for the AS in NetWeaver?
I don't want to use the configtool. I want to modify the files that configtool modifies.

If you are using SAP Netweaver J2EE Server, that means > 6.20, you have to use AFAIK the Configtool because all the settings are saved in the Database and the config files are created at startup.

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

How to change external display resolution WITHOUT clicking "CONFIRM"?

I have a somewhat unusual situation. My MacBook laptop is actually now a ModBook (a pen-tablet computer), and as such I no longer have a trackpad attached to it. All of my inputs are via the stylus, tapping directly on the built-in display.
This works perfectly fine, except when I need to give presentations on an LCD projector (which is quite often lately). I like to use the projector as an external monitor, so that I can run the Keynote presentation on it while using my laptop screen as the presenter's display, with the upcoming slide, etc. If the projector doesn't give me an ideal native display option (sometimes, the aspect ratio for the 3 or 4 resolutions available in the Displays drop-down in the menubar turn out to be stretched or squeezed), then I, naturally, have to open the Display System Preferences and try out different resolutions.
The problem is, since my stylus only interacts by clicking directly on the built-in-display, I have no way of moving the cursor over to the external display when the dialog box with the "Click here to confirm change/You have 15 seconds..." message appears. So I can never click it ... so I can never confirm the new settings.
The workarounds I've used so far are:
- Mirror displays (not ideal, as I need the presenter preview of the next slide)
- borrow a mouse from someone (usually from a Windows desktop, frankly) and plug that in to briefly mouse over and click the confirm button
I'd love to find a software workaround that allows me to NOT mirror displays and also doesn't require me to carry around a mouse all the time (my laptop bag is already overstuffed...).

Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

I place music on memory card (micro SD) and don't know how to change the memory in use via mass storage USB connect.
On the other way, when I plug in E6 into LCD-TV, after hundred of reconnect, it plug in as Mass Storage SD card... And still don't know how it works :X

Yes as Tom stated this post belongs in the FCP forum.
This can be configured in the System Settings.
Go to Final Cut Pro > System Settings... and click the memory tab, you can configure your RAM settings there.

You can't, unless you change your user rights to Admin. Now, you can reset all the passwords and admin through a reset process, but if this is a corporate owned Mac, you could get in trouble. Even fired. If it's your parent's Mac, then just get them to give you admin rights.

Father's macbook now mine. How can I change name, admin, etc without losing apps and programs?

My father bought a Macbook Pro 15' retina 8Gb ram 256Gb SSD about 2 months ago.
He set it up, bought many apps and programs but eventually got bored of it and gave it to me.
He is not a Mac enthusiast and thought he should give it a try but he didn't stick to it.
I'm not a Mac enthusiast either, but a good notebook is an ok present so I took it.
I installed some programs and stuff, tried to learn how it works (I have no idea, I was always using windows), and I think I like it.
However, the MacBook has my father's name, my father is the admin, and all the apps programs etc the he and I bought and installed are in his account.
I have his password though. That's how I've been using it the whole time.
How can I change the MacBook to make it "my own"?
I have an apple ID cause I have an iPhone etc but I'm sure just changing that under the admin page won't be enough.
Will I lose the apps my father bought?
Will I have to reinstall all the programs that I installed while I was using the MacBook? For example will photoshop and capture nx be deleted as if I was formatting a pc and I will have to install them again?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
PS. MacBook is now running Mavericks OS X 10.9.4 and I want to upgrade.
But first I want to make myself the "owner" to start getting things in the right order.

I want to solve the following task:
Change the primary SATA harddisk to an new SSD in Small Business Server 2003.
What I did:
I installed the SSD in to the system and made a software mirror. The two harddisk showed full synch.
The problem:
When I removed the original harddisk to let the mirrored start, it didn’t. It says: “Ntldr is missing”
What I tried:
I wanted to use fixboot; however Recovery console (nor from SBS neither from XP) didn’t recognize the partition fully. It recognized the Dynamic partition, but without letter and also didn’t find Windows installation.
I am looking for an advice how I can transfer the OS to the new disk without reinstall.

Server 2003 software mirror requires that you break the mirror if you wish to revert to a single disk. Then, because the boot.ini refers to drive1/partition1, you will need to edit that. The easiest way to test is to boot from a floppy with the
boot.ini altered, while keeping your original drive safe from harm.
Can you confirm that you don't need to load storage drives unique to that mobo or controller.... I'm guessing not since you used software raid.

Having said all that, you will gain little by having the system partition on an SSD drive, and SBS 2003 is out of support in April, so if you haven't made plans to migrate to something newer you might want to start those plans soon.

Hi, I've got a bit confused and befuddled with my icloud account(s), as I had a MobileMe account before icloud and an itunes / Apple account. On my iphone and ipad, I've set up icloud on my itunes / Apple account details, which means I have a photo stream that works between these two devices. I also have something silly like 7 ical calendars on my iphone / ipad; two on an icloud account under the same log-in as my itunes, one on my gmail email account (which is the email account that is also my itunes / Apple account name) and four on a @me.com account I acquired from the old MobileMe days. Although not perfect, it's worked ok for a while, until I wanted to move photos from iphoto on my mac to my photo stream, and realised I had two photo stream accounts, and the one linked to my mac wouldn't enable photos to be seen on my iphone or ipad.
So I read a lot of stuff on here and decided I needed to change my primary icloud on my mac, ensuring it was my itunes account rather than my icloud account. I did this last night and all the diary entries in my mac ical disappeared. I then went back and deleted the itunes account details as my primary account and reinstalled the icloud details. On doing this, I realised I only have four calendars in my mac ical - and these are all on my @me.com account, none of the gmail calendars appear.
What I'd like to do, if possible, is migrate all my @me.com calendars and photo stream into one icloud account, using my itunes log-in details. This will, hopefully, mean I can cut down on the number of calendars on my iphone and ipads, ensure everything synchs across the mobile devices and my mac, and ensure I can use photo stream across all three. Can anyone suggest how I can do this please?

When you delete an iCloud account from a device, that has no effect on the iCloud accounts on other devices or the content in that iCloud account. You are just deleting that account from that particular device.
Her content will still be in iCloud.

I assume you can just change the IP address on the server that the WCS is running on without having to unistall and reinstall the software.
I would recommend backing up the WCS database before making any changes.
You may also have to reassosciate the controller with WCS because of the SNMP traps.

How to change RAW to JPEG without editing

Normally, when I import RAW files into iphoto, edit them, and click Done, iphoto will convert those RAW files to JPEG.
The problem is printer cannot print RAW files, but it can print files in JPEG format.
However, there are many times that I don't want to edit my RAW files, but I want them to be JPEG so that I can make a card, calendar, or album (in iphoto) and print it.
I have tried to click Done without editing images, but it failed to convert to JPEG.

I find the same issue to be true. Any image that was rotated by iPhoto (even though the 20d settings tell it to auto-rotate), iPhoto considers this image edited, and therefore will have created a jpg copy. Now my issue is not how to retain the raw image, but I export mass amounts of photos to batch directories where I watermark and put on my website. I would like to actually just be able to drag my images to a desktop folder and deal with them as jpgs. Problem is, only the ones which were rotated are considered jpgs since they've been modified. I found if I select all the landscape images, rotate them and then rotate back, then I'm good. But I would rather not have to do that. Any ideas how I can just copy a bunch of images without having to trick iPhoto, and have them end up as jpgs???
