How to change movement type 531 for by-product ???
Hi,
While creating production order (CO01), by-product component with negative quantity is automatically assigned movement type 531. Can anybody tell how this movement type is picked automatically ? How can it be changed to some other movement type (say Z31 i.e. copy of movement type 531) ?
Thanks,
Bijay
Hi Bijay,
It might be better if i share it with you. While creating the order SAP automaticallly assigns the movement type. The order created is of Devlopment class CO and GI-BY-Order is by default 531.
As you were talking about.SAP has provided us the transaction OPKA to adjust if the change is required. So please give it a try.Hoping it be you help.
Have a best day ahead.

And then go to VOV6 and double click the Schedule Line category and in detailed screen, change the movement type.
Then try for Delivery and PGI. -
How to change set type attribute of a product
Hi ;
I created additional fields for products by using "COMM_ATTRSET". It created a table and functions but I dont know how to change this additional attributes.I cant use these attribute set functions because i dont know fragment_id yet. I think there must be a function encapsulates them.
Is there any BAPI to change set type attributes?
PS: In forums , I found an FM "COM_PRODUCT_MAINTAIN_MULT_API" but I think it hasnt been used anymore in CRM7.0
ThanksThanks for your reply ;
but FM 'COM_PRODUCT_UI_MAINTAIN' doesnt have any generic import parameters to send my data to it in form of newly created attribute set type table "ZPRODUCT".
I want to set some fields of ZPRODUCT and i need to send them in this structure, this table has column FRG_ID , if you set an additional parameter for the first time , it generates new GUID..I think 'COM_PRODUCT_UI_MAINTAIN' generates this GUID but i dont know how to use it.
Can you give an example about using this FM? -
How to change nat type 3 to nat type 2 for Plastation 4?
how to change nat type 3 to nat type 2 for adaptation 4? i am havng a complicated time with this im'm just trying to play online and been at it fotr 3 days i have tried about everuyhing n portforwarding.com i have a Cisco Linksys E1000
Hi ceasar14. I actually found some steps (from a source) that worked for me. I'm not sure if it will work for you. Here are the steps:
1. Get the MAC address of your PS3. To find your MAC address simply go to
Settings > System Settings > System Information
2. Assign a static IP address on your PS3.
3. Access your router's user interface to open a few ports.
4. Under Applications and Gaming > Port Range Forwarding, open the following ports:
TCP: 80, 443, 5223
UDP: 3478, 3479, 3658
5. Once this is done, powercycle your PS3 and the router.
6. Run a connection test and check if it is now on NAT2.
Good luck. -
Make movement type relevant for BW Purchasing Extractor
How do I make a movement type relevant for a Purchasing extractor? Specifically 2lis_02_SGR.
The SAP functional team (I am on the BW team) started using movement type 161 and 162 for goods receipts. They set up the movement type in OMJJ in ECC. But it does not flow into BW via the 2lis_02_SGR extractor.
I went into the Transaction Key for BW and added 161 and 162 and now they show up in the table - V_TMCLVBW / TMCLVBW, but they are not flagged as statistically relevant. I have tried to go to tcodes MCB0 and MCB_ but get an SAP error "
View/table V_TMCLBW can only be displayed and maintained with restrictions
" and I do not know what this means or how to get past it so I can edit the table.
I have tried resetting up the initialization tables for Purchasing, but the movement types still do not come in the extractor. I think this is because the table still does not have these movement types flagged as statistically relevant.
Thanks
JeffI have gotten a developers key, so I was able to make V_TMCLVBW editable via MCB_ but this still brings me back to the change view for transaction key maintenance for transfer into BW. But I still can not figure out how to make the movement types relevant for BW.

Return item to blocked stock (Movement type 531)
Hello. I have a question.
In my Bill of Material, I have an item with a negative quantity; this is so when I confirm a Production Order, the component, instead of being backflushed (MvT 261), instead, it is returned to stock with Movement Type 531.
My question is, how can I determine that this item is always returned to Blocked Stock instead of Unrestricted Use Stock? In my Bill of Material, I have an item with a negative quantity; this is so when I confirm a Production Order, the component, instead of being backflushed (MvT 261), instead, it is returned to stock with Movement Type 531.
My question is, how can I determine that this item is always returned to Blocked Stock instead of Unrestricted Use Stock?
If you maintain negative quantity in BOM, then system will post 531 movement type only when you confirm the production order. If you want to post that stock to blocked stock always automatically it is not possible. You can activate 04 inspection type. Then stock will be posted to quality after Goods Receipt. From quality you can change to blocked stock. This is one way to shift to blocked stock.
If you want to post 261 movement in production order while confirmation you activate back flush option in MRP-2 view of that material master. Then while confirmation automatically 261 movement is posted by the system.

I used to use Preview to change quickly change a lot of PNGs to either JPEGs or PDFs but with the introduction of versions auto save etc there no "save as" in the File menu. Any suggestions how to get this functionality back or how to get around it within OS X (no Photoshop etc)?
Just wasted 15 minutes looking for that. What's wrong with Save As?

Edited by: Rajan R. on May 19, 2008 10:59 AMCheck the all authorization roles you have created for inventory management. In there you can take out MBRL from the list. Then, create a new role for transaction MBRL only, and then you can allow other movement types for this role except 122. Assgin this role to your users.
This is what I have done at two client locations. -

Hi Experts,
I am trying to post GR in MFHU transaction for the HU I have created. I am getting the following error. Could you please help me resolve it. The error description I am getting is as below:
Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 131 _ _ _ F)
Message no. M7226
Diagnosis
The system could not find entry 131 _ _ _ F in any of the movement type control tables.
Procedure
Cancel current processing.
Contact your system administrator.
Action to be taken by the system administrator
Check in Customizing for Inventory Management under Copy, Change Movement Types whether the entry is contained in the Update control view for the movement type.
If the entry is missing, proceed as follows:
For standard movement types, this means that the given process is not supported using the present data combination. Do not create any entries without prior arrangement with your SAP consultant. Otherwise, incorrect postings may result.
For customer-defined movement types (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z), this may mean that they have not been fully defined. Delete the movement type and re-create it by copying a standard movement type.

thanks in advanceHello,
I think there is a standard STO movement type you can use. But I can't remember. Why don't you try to find it and test if it fit your requirement?
There are some information for your reference. Please check on website:
http://www.sap-img.com/materials/difference-for-stock-transfer-and-transfer-posting.htm
Using STO without delivery:
doc.type: UB
GI:351, GR:101
STO with delivery:
GI:641, GR:101
delivery type:NL
STO with delivery and billing:
GI:643, GR:101
delivery type:NLCC , billing type:IV
And if you want to use the way to return the goods replenishment, try to flag the return checkbox while you create purchase order item. Of course, corresponding configuration is required.
