How to change order of files in a folder in Finder?

Is there a way of changing the order that individual files appear in a folder, other than the few choices provided in "View Options -> Keep Arranged By"? I want to re-order some jpeg file in a folder to show as slides using the "Slideshow" option in Finder, but in a particular order. I can re-arrange the images in Lightroom or IPhoto, but when I export them back to Finder, the original order, that I don't want, re-appears.

The simplest thing to is to put a number at the and of the jpeg in order that you like to have them. A other option is not possible.

FormsCentral cannot be used to edit existing PDF documents. That functionality is available in Adobe Acrobat:

Uploading multiple files is browser specific.
Internet explorer won't allow to select and upload multiple files on the cloud.
If you want to upload multiple files then you have to login to Cretaive cloud using Firefox or Chrome web browser, then you can select multiple files in the Browse window to upload.
You can't upload folders directly.

How to change the RPD file name without deploying on EM

Is there a way to change the RPD file name so it doesn't have BI0002 or BI0003 on the end of it? I can delete my BI0002 file and point the NQSConfig.ini file to my new FileName.rpd but when the BI services restart the BI0002 file reappears in the repository directory and the NQSConfig file changes to reflect this. It's like the only way you can change this is in the Enterprise Manager, but that always adds the suffix to the file.
Any suggestions?
Here's what the docs say:
When you upload a repository, it is copied to the local repository directory for each Oracle BI Server component, located at:
ORACLE_INSTANCE\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obisn\repository
If you have published the repository in shared mode, then the repository is also copied to the shared network location.
After the repository is uploaded, it is given a version number suffix (for example, SampleApp_bi001.rpd). This version number is incremented each time that the repository is uploaded. To revert to a previous version, you must re-upload the specific version of the repository to use.
Note that you can delete older versions from the repository directory or shared network directory to reclaim disk space.
What does that mean? I have to use an old rpd file in order to get rid of the suffix?

It can be changed, although I do not no exactly how. You have to take a look at the MBeans which are used to deploy a new repository. The suffixed is used to insure you do not overwrite an existing RPD

What are the challenges you are facing while sending the ".docx" file ?
Try saving it as an Adobe PDF first and then try to send it .
Open the .docx file >Click on File tab and under the drop down menu choose Save as Adobe PDF and save it .
OR
Open the .docx file> Select the Acrobat option from the menu bar and choose the first option ,i.e Create PDF and save it .

I have a group of computers that have Office 2010 installed and then PowerPoint Viewer 2007 was installed after that to temporarily resolve an SCCM 2007 patching issue. Needless to say, PowerPoint Viewer 2007 changed some of the PowerPoint 2010 file associations
to itself instead. I am scripting a clean-up operation to remove PowerPoint Viewer 2007 and set the file associations back to PowerPoint 2010. After doing some research, the few registry paths commonly called out do not contain the information that I am looking

One thing to note is that the user will need to log out and log in again to reload the changes to the registry which also updates the change to the file extensions.

Did you ordere the particular material for the vendor concerned already with different Order unit (SKU), this might be the reason why you are not getting the ordering unit in PO while ordering. Did you maintain the details of conversion in master between SKU & Ordering unit,if yes, then check for Info Record for the material and vendor combination and in the Genaral Data Tab chek for the variable order unit activation if not available then activate it and if the system is asking the conversiondetails enter herr the conversion also. Now if you create PO you will be able to assigne the new order unit.

Do you mean you want to use a dimension/data rule that you created in one database and use it in another? Or do you mean you want to reassociate the rule with its new database?
The former is easy -- copy (or not, the rule can be local) the rule to the new location and use MaxL/Esscmd to load data/dimensions.
If you mean the latter, I don't know of a way to do that -- typically copying a rule file would only occur when the dimensionality is the same.
Or do you mean something completely different?

Demand node ofr purchase Ordre( BF) in SNP is Conrel( BI category). We want to change date( start date) at this demand node . We will get this date from R3 using say non cif method.
There are few ways to do it....
1) If we ignore Menas of Transport( so essentially transit time or lead time in tlane) in that purchase order and change this requirement date directly using purchase order save BAPI( requirement node) ......Question will system allow us to do so and even if it allows us to do so will it casue some problem( inconsistencies) later?
2) Second option I am thinking is...
For one product we maiantain GR processing time in product location master and this is considered while determining strat date of BI (Start date= Delivery date -GR procesisng time- means of Transport lead time - some other times ....). For this product let's say we have 100 Purchase Orders (BF). We have requirement that each of these POs should get separate treatment while calculating Start date. It means start date can be different for different POs and once we change it forcibly then it shoulkd not change unless we again change it forcibly.
We are thinking to change GR processing time at runtime wheneveer Purchase Order is changed. So if GR time in product location master is 1 day ....for different Purchase Orders different GR processing time can be considered. Say for Po1...its 2 day...for P2 its 4 day.
Or similar way we can change transit time as given in means of transport in tlanes.

I am using adobe edge version 3 to add audio to a website.I use both .ogg and .mp3 files.
Inside the _edge.js file the audio element has 2 sources (one for .ogg and one for .mp3)

you should create a different directory for each dvd on your hard drive and put the files where they belong eg: dvd1, dvd2, dvd3
then create 3 bins in your project manager called dvd1, dvd2, dvd3 and put the relevant files into the bins ( can import whole folders into each respective bin )
OR rename your files using something like " renamer" before importing to premiere
otherwise youll have a mess of a time trying to figure out whats what...maybe someone else has a better solution
