How do I change a pdf file to a word document?

    Hi Irene,
    Using Adobe Acrobat:
How to convert a PDF file to Word:
Open a file in Acrobat XI.
Choose Tools > Content Editing > Export File to Microsoft Word Document.
Click Settings to turn on optical character recognition (OCR) if your PDF contains scanned text.
Name the Word file and save it in a desired location.
    Using Export PDF subscription:
    Sign in to: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf
Click on the blue button that says 'Select PDF Files to Export' and you will see the following window:
You can either navigate to the location of the pdf file you want to convert or simply drag the files on to this window.
After selecting the file, select the 'Export Format' like Word or Excel etc. and then click on the Blue 'Export to Word' button to convert the pdf into the desired format.

how i chang pdf to excell

The forum you've posted to is for questions about the Formscentral product. Conversion of PDF to Excel is not a feature of this product. Adobe does offer products that convert file format types so I would suggest you investigate our other Acrobat.com offerings or a desktop version of Acrobat itself.

  • Is there a way to change PDF files to Word Doc on my iPad? I subscribed to it.

I just subscribed the converting PDF file to Word doc. But I would like to use my iPad for this. Does anyone know how to do it?

For starters, you can take a look at the Help document in Adobe Reader for iOS.
    Go to Reader's home screen.
Tap Help (in the lower left corner).
Tap Handbook (in the right pane).
    Select "Acrobat.com and the Cloud".
The page describes various operations (Logging in, Exporting PDFs, etc.).
Please let us know if you have any specific questions.

  • How to change pdf file properties?

    Hi all,
Preview works great at generating PDFs from Word files, but the metadata fields (e.g., author, title, etc.) don't come over accurately. In Preview, when I click "Get Info," the metadata fields have different values than the original Word document had.
Anyone know how I can edit the info in the pdf file? Even if I open the properties window through the Finder instead of Preview, I can still only view them, not edit them.
    Thanks

It isn't actually Preview's fault - at least, I doubt it. I expect you would see the same in any viewer. It could be Word's fault or it could be Apple's underlying PDF creation software. Apple's distiller respects this data when created in other ways, though.
I didn't suggest the text editing option because it is a little hair-raising editing binary files in that way and I assumed you probably wanted a slightly more user-friendly option. I can see it working if your need is infrequent, though - especially since if anything does go wrong, you can always recreate the PDF from the Word source.
    Good luck with it, anyway.

  • How to create PDF files from word with non-selectable content

    Hi folks,
I am creating a PDF from a newsletter in Word (using print to Adobe PDF).
I have checked the options available in the printer, but there are none that seem to allow this.
I want to prevent the recipent from being able to click on obvious graphic objects e.g. signatures, within the newsletter and copy them to clipboard. I appreciate you can do this still with a screen capture, but I want to make it difficult.
    Is this possible?
    TIA

That looks like it should work, but it doesn't.
I opened the PDF I had created from Word in Acrobat (X Pro). Went to File > Properties. Selected "Change Settings". I then enabled "Restrict editing...", set a password, set "Printing Allowed" to "none", "Changes Allowed" to "none", and ensured that "Enable copying of text..." was disabled.
I saved the PDF file, closed Acrobat, opened the PDF in Reader, and I was still able to select text and graphical objects.
I reopened the PDF in Acrobat, and the document summart still shows everything as allowed. When I click on "show details" (from File > Properties) it shows the correct settings.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Mike, hi Bart,
thanks for the suggestions. Challenge with .doc documents is often that they get displayed differently on different systems, and lots of people just do it in really crappy ways (not using styles, or using them completely wrong).
Copying from PDF to word works if there's not much formatting, but in most cases it messes things up from my experience.
I'll be looking for convert from PDF to word stuff. Thanks again,

  • How to change pdf tp jpg to email?

how to change pdf file created in pages to a jpg file

Is it more than one page?  If not, open it in Preview and Save As a jpg file.  It can only do one page at a time (the current page showing in Preview) so you would have to do one page at a time doing Save As to multiple jpg's.
At the more powerful end of the spectrum of possible tools there's ImageMagic.

  • Unable to convert PDF file into word document

I just signed up with Adobe in order to convert a PDF file into a word document and it continues to fail.  Any suggestions.

If you have adobe X, simply go to "File" -> "Save-As" and Microsoft Word is an option. Also, there is a download (paid) called Able2Extract that will allow you to convert pdfs to word, excel, etc. but the formatting is often lost. If you get the premium package, you can even convert scanned documents. I've used Adobe X to do the conversion, and it retains headers, footers and all formatting.
And i personally share you with a article about how to converting PDF files to Word(.doc), you just need to follow the easy guide.
Hope it can help you a lot.

I need to convert PDF file to Word Document, so it can be edited. But the recognizing text options do not have the language that I need. How I can convert the file in the desired of me language?

The application Acrobat provides no language translation capability.
If you localize the language for OS, MS Office applications, Acrobat, etc to the desired language try again.
Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.
    Do cleanup.
    Be well...
