How to change Photoshop CS6 SWF panel scale mode

I have successfully created a SWF panel in Photoshop CS6 but the stage scale mode is ignored and I just cannot figure out why it doesn't work.
I have follwed the examples in the "USING THE ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 6 SDK" pdf, I have created a working CSXS manifest and opened the panel in Photoshop and had the panel create a new document but I cannot change the stage scale mode.
I know it is possible because the mini bridge paneldoes it, so what am I missing?

- Update -
I have narrowed down the problem somewhat.
I have downloaded the CS6 SDK from here : http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite.html
and copied exactly the HelloCreativeSuite sample from samples\HelloCreativeSuite included with the SDK. What I have found is that if I use the SWF I have compiled the the panel does not scale properly, but If I overwrite my SWF with the precompiled one included with the sample it works perfectly.
So the problem must be the way the SWF is compiled.
I have added two images below to demonstrate the problem just in case.
The sample SWF works as expected, the content is always at 100% no matter the panel size;
while my SWF seems to ignore the stage.scaleMode property and always resizes to fit the content.

  • How to change Photoshop CS6 CC UI from English to French (France) ?

    Hello,
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, US english operating system, so when I subscribe to PS CS6 CC edition, the english UI was installed. Is it possible to change the UI (menus, help, etc.) To french (France) I live in the US but my working language and instructional materials for using Photoshop CS6 are in french, not "french canadian," but french from France. Training EU francophone clients and personnel would be a lot easier if we were all using the french interface.
Many thanks for your kind help,
    Rafi

It is possible to change the installed language from the Adobe Application Manager (AAM). Click on your name in the top left and from the menu choose Preferences. Switch the Language to French. You will need to uninstall the English version and then install the French version.
Of note is that some European customers select the Internation English only version of the Creative Cloud subscription. If that is the case than all languages execept International English will be a 30-day trial version.

how to move photoshop cs6 to a new computer

    1. Be sure you have your serial number.
    2. If you have only used one of two installs, install and activate on your new computer (as a precaution), then proceed to step 3. If your second install is currently used, proceed to step 3 without installing.
    3. Deactivate on you old computer and uninstall. To deactivate, open Photoshop and go to Help>Deactivate.
You may use Photoshop on two computers at any one time. By deactivating, you may change to different computer(s).
You can find the installer here: Download CS6 products

The Martin Evening book on Lightroom 5 says that you can.  I can’t discern exactly how.
Maybe, but you are asking in the Camera Raw forum, so I might be excused for not being telepathic.

  • How to use Photoshop CS6

    Hi Peeps,
I have been using Photoshop Elements 4.0 but now I have to switch to Photoshop CS6 as there are some printing issues with Elements 4.0.
I would like to seek for your kind advices how to use Photoshop CS6 as I can't seems to find the answer in support link.
In Elements 4.0, there is a Pencil mode we can use and set the size but i did not find it in CS6 except the Pen mode.
As well as in Elements 4.0, i can show grid lines as i need to make the images centralised but i cant find in CS6 also, the option is greyed-out.
May i seek for the users/experts of Photoshop CS6 to enlighten me?
    Thank you so much.
    Best Regards,
    Kazz

    Hihi Silkrooster,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply!
May I still seek further assistance from you? As I simply can't get the pencil line that I wants.
In Elements 4.0, I just have to simply select Pencil -> Size: 3 px, Mode: Normal Opacity: 100% and I can get the size of the pencil line that I need.
    See attached screenshot below: -
But in CS6, i tried the combination of 2B pencil -> Size: 3 px, Mode: Normal Opacity: 100%, but it does not work so i go to extend to set Brush Tip Shape.
See green box 1: its the pencil line that I want.
See green box 2: its set to 3px, square pointed, softness: 100% but it's too big and looks faded.
See green box 3: All is the same except is 2px but at least it looks so much alike to the one i need (dark, black solid line) but it's too thin.
Can enlighten me how to go about it plssss?
    Thank you so much.
    Best Regards,
    Kazz

  • Is there a way to open photoshop cs6 in 32-bit mode on a windows 7 64-bit system.

I was wondering if there is a way to open photoshop cs6 in 32-bit mode on a windows 7 64-bit system, because photoshop won't recognize the pen pressure on my graphics tablet (yiynova msp19u) I read that some users got it to work in 32-bit mode on macs, and all my other programs like zBrush, art rage, sketch book pro recognize the pen pressure on the tablet.

well I am going to assume that the application marked photoshop is the 32-bit application, since the other on is marked 64-bit and I don't see one 32-bit. in any case it still not recognizing pen pressure and i have the newest drivers. The only thing I can think of now is that wacom drivers are interfering with it some how since they don't get along, although I was pretty sure i got rid of all wacom software.
Sigh, it's starting to look like I have to format my computer

  • How do I change photoshop (CS6) to run as a 64 bit permanently

I downloaded the 64 bit but but it reverts to 32 bit.

    Hi,
What operating system are you using?
Your using a 64 bit operating system?
On a windows 64 bit os, there should be two photoshop cs6 versions installed, 32 and 64 bits.
The 32 bit version is in
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6
The 64 bit version is in
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6
So, perhaps the shortcut your using to start photoshop cs6 is pointing to the 32 bit version.

  • Photoshop CS6 Swatches Panel Problem

    Hello,
I appologize if this or a similar question has been answered previously, but after some searching I haven't been able to find a solution to my issue. So I run PS CS6 with the default swatches working in the painting workspace on WIndows 7. The swatches usually looked like this:
However when I opened my file to work on today the panel suddenly looked as follows:
I am not sure how or why this changed happened, I didn't make any changes to my preferences at all. Yesterday when I had the file open the swatches were as above and today they look like the second image. I tried resetting the swatches to default replacing the current panel, but it just resets to this order. I have even deleted the swatches.psp file in users/appdata/roaming/adobe/etc... and photoshop still opens to this order of colors. I've even gone as far as resetting all photoshop preferences to no avail. I can't figure out for the life of me how to get it back to the way it was originally. It's not a huge deal but I find it extremely annoying as I've gotten used to working with the default swatches panel order.
So if anyone knows how I can reset my swatches panel so they look as they originally did above I would be extremely grateful.
    Thanks in advance.

Nothing really changed other than the width of the swatches palette because it is grouped with other palettes that are wider than it's minimum size.  All the colors are still there, in the same order.

  • Photoshop CS6 pixel ruler scale is illegible at alternating magnifications

Running PS CS6, Win 7 x64, 30" NEC display, nVidia Quadro FX 3800 display card.
Photoshop preference "UI Font Size" set to medium.
The attached image shows how Photoshop CS6 has an illegible vertical scale with medium or large UI fonts selected. I have found that as I zoom using ctrl plus key, the CS6 scale alternates between illegible overlapping characters and legible legends. So if I have an illegible scale, one magnification increment increase/decrease will make the scale legible, but two will make the scale garbled again. The scale increments appear to adjust to accomodate the scale numerals only a subset of magnifications.
If I set the UI pref to small fonts, the scale is always legible. At medium and large fonts settings, it has the alternating magnification level illegibility. It turns out that CS5 has the same problem when set to medium or large UI text preferences. I can run small fonts on PS CS5, but find the new interface on CS6 is harder to read - that's why I increased the UI preference to medium.

    Thanks for the report BJN3!
    I'll pass it on!

  • How to install Photoshop cs6 extended?

I bought two different cs6 software packages at different times. I bought and installed design standard first. This included photoshop cs6. I then found a good deal on production premium so I bought it. Production premium is supposed to come with photoshop extended. I installed prod. premium and I still only had the regular photoshop (opening splash screen was just the photoshop version with the circles instead of the photoshop version with the paint splatter).
I tried uninstalling photoshop and reinstalling from the prod. premium disc but it will only install photoshop it seems.
How can I go about installing the photoshop extended version that I should have access to?

Please follow the below mentioned steps:
    Open Photoshop
    Choose Help > Deactivate
Select Deactivate Permanently from this computer after deactivation completes
    Click Deactivate.
Reopen Photoshop. You are prompted for a serial number. Enter the Extended serial number.
    Regards,
    Ashutosh
