plz tel me any bapi or function module is there to chnage new pricelist type in customer master for a perticular sales area.

This issue happens usually when the 'Business Area Financial Statement' indicator has been enabled in customizing. Hence, in your case, for changing of business area > use ABUMN to transfer from existing asset to a new asset master with new business area.

default sp ,consumer.

I have to choose/populate a message when the user is about to create an already existing customer.
In SPRO --> Financial Accounting --> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable --> Customer Accounts --> Master Data --> Preparations for creating customer master data --> "change message control for customer master data" ...
OK...
When u click this it goes into Change View "message control by User" Overview screen wherein u can insert new messages and texts and the type of message ....
Now .....
I want to display the 145th message (F4 help of the Message column) ..... it picks up the text "Customer found with same address;check"..... with Online mesasage type 'I' and batch type 'I' and with standard type '-' ..
I want to have the same message with message types 'E','E', and 'I' respectively.......
How is this possible (or) what should i do to meet my requirement :-|

Well the requirement seems very simple but its not as simple as it looks.
i have an idea not sure whether it gonna work or not. you need to build a history cube as if i understand your requirement then for any selected period you wanna see the change in wage type or pay rate for each employee if any.
1. pick up an cube that builds on emp transaction data.
2. add the 0empoyee Md, wage type and pay rate from MD to the cube and fill the cube
3.so now every day or in scheduled time interval the MD will load and the corresponding the TD will be loaded to the cube.
4. create a info object say indicator and add it to the cube
5.while loading the data to the cube everyday in tranformation check if for same employee there is a change or not in the wage type and pay rate. If so set the indicator to 1.
4.now build one more cube for holding the changed records from this cube and call it say zhrchange
5. now pull the date, year and related emplyee information for the emplyee to the zhrchange for those with indicator 1.
6. before the next load happen, rememrbe to set the indicator to 0 before checking the conditoin in the transformation routine , so that only if the conditoin satisfy then only it will be 1 else it will be 0.
now the cube zhrchange has all the changed records with time stamp and you can base your query on that to get the changed values in specific time period

How to change data type of attribute in caf

hi.
this is my problem.
i been added a attribute in an entity service called emloyee. named "Birthday", use the data type "com.sap.caf.core.date".
when i tried modify the entity service, i hit exception about "DST Daylight Saving Time".
because of DST, the date will add an hour such like "1957/04/01 00:00:00.0" to "1957/04/01 01:00:00.0", and com.sap.caf.core.date will throw an exception.
is anyone had same problem like me?
how to fixed it(if passable)?
and, how to change data type?

all you need to do on this is open the report go to the parameters, select the parameter that you wish to change and click "Edit". This will allow you to change thefield to a date rather than a date time.

I had the same query today and finally found the answer.
In order to change the title text or description of the "Customer Data" tab in ME23N, etc. you need to define a new text symbol in program SAPLXM06. The text symbol must be number 111 for the PO data. Make sure you define this text symbol in the language you are using when viewing the PO. I had issues with this as the original language of object SAPXM06 is not my logon language.
The standard code which picks up this text is in function module MEGUI_BUILD_PO_ITEM_PLUGIN. I could not find any documentation around this functionality.

Search Term 2
Label used for search helps.
Only uppercase letters are stored in this field. Your entries are converted automatically to uppercase letters.
There are two of these fields for search terms. These fields can be used independently of each other.
Procedure
You can use your own criteria for entering the search term.
Example
You can enter the main part of the name or an organizational ID.
For example, for the company "Hechinger & Sons", you could enter "Hechinger" as the first search term.
The second search term could then be the name ID you use within your company, to help you identify your data later.

Where is "save as" or how to change file type in Preview in Lion?

Where is "save as" or how to change file type in Preview in Lion? I used to use Preview to change quickly change a lot of PNGs to either JPEGs or PDFs but with the introduction of versions auto save etc there no "save as" in the File menu. Any suggestions how to get this functionality back or how to get around it within OS X (no Photoshop etc)?

Just wasted 15 minutes looking for that. What's wrong with Save As?

We have a customer requirement where a customer was assigned to multiple sales areas before, but the customer assignment to one of the sales areas is deleted.
Where is the place where we can see the relavant change history for the customer master.

In customer master data, choose environment from Menu bar then select Fields Changes.
There you will get info related to,
-All Changes
-Entries
-Deletions
-Field Names
Similarly for Account Changes, choose environment from Menu bar and select Account changes. And correspondingly based requirement go for All Fields or Senesitive Fields.

My Client is doing sale in POS for credit customers and credit customer master should be sent to POS as outbound Idoc.
1.What is the standard message type for sending Customer masters to POS. WP_PER01 is not activated for version 700 ( message getting on WE60 ). Plse let us know is there any another message type for customer master.
2. Also i need to send the credit limit of the customer to POS . Is this possible by standard message type or we need to go for ZIdoc?.
3.Is there standard Outbound Idoc ( Message type ) available to send the Pending invoice list toPOS?

How to change specified hierachy node to master data attribute automatically? I have a retail business: I have a fixed material group hierachy in R3 Retail ,Now I will extract the material group hierachy ,my goal is that the specified material group hierachy node as dimension in query ,not show hierachy level,So I need change specified material group hierachy node to material group's attribute.
Anybody solve the requests?

If I understand your requirement correctly, you need to have a specific Material Group Hierarchy level (Say Level 2) to be an attribute of Material Group. Usually, this level represents a Brand or Segment, or something with specific meaning.
If this is correct, here are the things you need to do:
1) Create an InfoOnject for this specific attribute representing the specified hierarchy level
2) Add this InfoObject to Material Group as an navigational attribute
3) Select this navigational attribute in your InfoProvider
4) Create a transformation routine for this navigational attribute in Material Group Transformation so that the specified hierarchy level for Material Group will be found and populated. The detail of this routine will depend on your specific requirement. Also, you have to make sure Material Group Hierarchy is updated before Material Group attributes are loaded. If you are not family with ABAP, please ask an ABAPer to help you for the Transformation Routine.
5) Include this navigational attribute in your query along with other required InfoObjects.
