How to change settings of a AD group remotely

Hello directory service experts,
we work on UI test automation for a web client. I need to test weather after changing a particular
AD user's group scope from domain Local to Universal and check weather this particular user can log
in in to the application or not.
I need to automate this fully. Hence I would request to please share me the steps how this can be achieved . We use Java (selenium ) to automate our steps. If there is solution available in jave to remotely configure a AD related group would be very much
help ful.

Whichever icon I use for the main frame (I tried few), after grouping the main frame and other sub-frames the icon is changed to standard 'Java Sun' icon as you can see in the screenshot from my first post. The problem occurs only when frames are grouped, when the are separated in the task bar their titles and icons are ok...

Assume you're using Internet Explorer browser?
Is it happening on all images you open?
You can verify Internet Explorer is setup to show images by going to: Tool, Internet Options, click the advanced tab and under Multimedia make sure Show Pictures is checked.
Make sure you have the latest updates for Internet Explorer from Windows Update.

How to change settings for insert table

I use DW CS4. Don't know how this changed but now when i click insert>table the result is insertion of a table with width of 960 and 8 columns and 8 rows?
Where can i change this back to what it was so that in properties i can set the width, the number of columns, the number of rows, etc.

Dreamweaver should remember the last table definition you put on the page.
Insert>table>Specify Rows/Columns/Width
That should then be the default until you specify something else.

How to change settings for all users?

In cPro we have User Settings button. On clicking that we get a Tabstrip where you will find "User" tab.
my question is: How can we change the default settings for all users e.g setting the checkbox "Scheduling only manually" to true ?

Hi Arti,
In cProjects the authorizations can be managed either by authorization profile administration by system administrator for General authorizations or by Project specific authorizations for individual cProjects elements by Project owner.
Try the first one and I hope you will get the solution.

I have a group of friends and we made a group mms to keep track of things. There are more than 8 people in this group so I get nonstop messages from everybody and I would like to be more organized and make a name for it. That works for the all the controls/filter settings. The clip length still defaults to 10 seconds, but that's OK, since the main thing I was looking for was to change the clip's internal settings. Thanks for your help

How to change settings on iphone so location of photo is known

When I got my iphone 4 and downloaded pictures to iphoto, the info for the photo would show date, time, location. Now the location is missing. How can I get the location to show up again? I think I accidently changed a setting.

Settings>General>Reset Location Warnings. This will re-generate prompts for all apps that use location info.
Also, Settings>Location Services>On>Camera>On.

How to change settings from CMYK to RGB in illustrator and photoshop

Everything is in CMYK and I need to change it to RGB for my M2 dtg garment printer, because my colors on shirts are not coming out right. My rip software for printer is in RGB. When I open new file in illustrator and click advanced to change to RGB I get a little warning saying; The chosen color mode is different from the color space defined by the Document Profile. Panel content may not match the new color mode.

First choose "Basic RGB" for Profile in the New Document Dialog, then adjust any advanced settings.

Preview Insert Page from scanner How to Change Settings

I often look to add pages to existing scanned PDF documents using Preview's Insert Page from Scanner Function in Mavericks. Selecting this automatically opens a scan dialog. When i use the flatbed to scan, it seems to always scan in black and white vs. greyscale or color. I can't find anyway to change these settings. When i scan from the document feeder, it automatically scans in color. I think there has to be a default settings for this somewhere ,but I can't find it. Anyone know where the settings may be?

The window you show, I see when I use Image Capture or Import From Scanner, but there is no pop-up or any menu to change any settings when I use Insert Page From Scanner. I use this function to add on pages to an original PDF, which is the easiest way I have found to do that. In BI EE 10g, there was no Oracle Client bundled along with BI EE. So, BI EE will use your Oracle DB Home client to connect to the database. So, when you try to connect to the database through the Repository or BI Server, it will try to find the tnsnames entry in the Oracle Client of BI EE 11g instead of your database. There are 2 options to work around this
Copy your tnsnames.ora and Paste it to
1. Drive:Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_BI1}network\admin
2 Drive:Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\network\admin
TNS File like,

New router - how to change wifi settings for Photosmart B109n

I got a new router. How do I change the wifi settings for my Photosmart B109n? I changed the PC wifi settings (no problem). I connected the PC (Windows 7) to the printer by USB cable. In the HP Solutions Centre, when I click on Settings / Network Settings, it tries to open a browser (IE9) page, with the URL being the IP address (192.168.2.3), but it goes to the "cannot display" page. Do I need the HP software CD? (I think I've lost it.) The manual explains how to set up (using the CD), but I can't find how to change settings for a new router.

There a config area, where you can define default PO doc types for a particular Pr doc type. If you maintain the settings properly there, then your requirement can be fulfilled.
SPRO->IMG->MM->Purchasing->Purchase requisation->Define doc types.
This will serve your purpose.

I am trying to figure out how to change a setting in the Java Control Panel with command line or with a script. I want to enable "Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format"
I can't seem to find any documentation on how to change settings in the Java Control Panel via the command line

OK figured it out. This is for the next person seeking the same solution.
When you click on the Java Control Panel (found in the Control panel) in any version of Windows, it first looks for a System Wide Java Configuration (found here: C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment). At this point you must be wondering why you don't have this folder (C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment) or why its empty. Well, for an enterprise environment, you have to create it and place something in it - it doesn't exist by default. So you'll need a script (I used Autoit) to create the directory structure and place the the two files into it. The two files are "deployment.properties" and "deployment.config".
Example: When you click on the Java Control Panel it first checks to see if this directory exists (C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment) and then checks if there is a "deployment.config". If there is one it opens it and reads it. If it doesn't exist, Java creates user settings found here C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment on Windows 7.

If you look in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment on Windows 7 for example you will find "deployment.properties". You can use this as your default example and add your settings to it.

Maybe you want to disable Java update (which is a big problem for enterprises)
