How to change system Window 7 32BIT to Window 64BIT

Please help. My system is:
System Directory C:\Windows\system32
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU    Q6600  @ 2.40GHz, 2400 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)BIOS Version/Date LENOVO 2SKG28A, 9/4/2007SMBIOS Version 2.5Windows Directory C:\WindowsSystem Directory C:\Windows\system32.
I have 2 version of Window 7 32BIT and 64BIT. I called Lenovo test support and they said I can't install Window 7 64BIT since my system is 32BIT. But I read in the forum someone can do it.
I would like to know how?
Thanks

Hi, LBCupertino
What they mean is you can't just switch it to 64bit. You will need to save what ever you need, documents, pictures, music, etc... It requires you to install 64bit from the CD, which will wipe everything you have on it now.

  • How to Change the Windows Title in EP7.0

    Hi
Can anyone provide some pointers on how to change the windows title bar in EP 6.0
We would like to remove the words "SAP Netweaver Portal" from the title.
I have found OSS note  695903 however this refers to EP6.0
    Thanks in advance.
    Ian

    Hi,
For people who have no access to the note, here are the steps involved. The same steps are listed in the note :
    1) Logon to your portal with your user who has super_admin role.
    2) Go to the System Administration tab -> System Configuration tab.
    3) Go to the Service Configuration -> Central Configuration.
    4) Change the portal.html.head.title part. Do no forget to save the changes you made.
    5) Restart the j2ee server to be able to see the changes on the portal
    Cheers,

  • How to change main window title of oracle ebs

    Hi all,
Kindly tell me how can we change the main title of oracle ebs 11i.
    Thanks

    Hello Gloscott,
Welcome to the Aperture discussion forum. Congratulations. You just hijacked a thread. That's bad form for 2 reasons. First, you added a message to a thread called "How to change main window view" which makes it look like you had information to add that thread, and you did not. Second, people who can help you are more likely to read a message that has your problem in the subject than they are to read this message. I.e., you won't get what you want if you ask for something else.
That being said, when you repost your query in a new thread, you'll have to be more specific. A "Frame" is not in the regular Aperture terminology.

  • How to change system administrator for os x 10.9.1

how to change system administrator for os x 10.9.1

    sriharshasanne,
log in as your current system administrator and open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences. If the padlock in the lower-left corner is locked, click on it to unlock it. Click on the “+” button above the padlock to create a new user; set the “New Account” dropdown to “Administrator”. Provide the missing text box information, and press the Create User button. After the new administrative user has been created, exit System Preferences, log out, and log in as the new system adminstrator. Open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences again, select your old administrative user, select its Password tab, and uncheck its “Allow user to administer this computer” checkbox. Relock the padlock if desired, and exit System Preferences.

  • How to change the Window Title on a per build spec basis?

I would like to be able to make 4 "build specificiations" against the same Startup-VI and be able to have the Window Title different in each of the output executables.   I know how to change the Window Title for the VI itself, but for some reason, I don't see the ability to override this information in Source File Settings --> Customize VI Properties dialog of the build specification.    Is there perhaps a way to do this programattically with VI server?  Perhaps there is a way I can define a unique symbol on each of the build specs and then do a case statement in code to determine which title to display based on the symbol that was defined?
    Thanks,

You can use the appropriately named Window Title property. In your project you can define conditional disable symbols (right-click on the project node and select Properties) and then use a conditional disable structure in your code. However, these symbols apply to the entire project, not to a specific executable. Thus, a better route would be to use the executable name (also accessible via a property), if possible, or some other distinction between the executables. What makes the executables different?

  • How  to change default window size?

I'm using MX 6.0 on Mac... For some reason I can't figure out
how to change the default window size in the work windows. Every
time I open a new file to work on it opens to a smaller size than
the actual page is. When opening pages dozens of times a day, it
gets annoying to have to resize each time. I'm sure it wasn't
always like this, but I can't figure out how to change it so the
default size that it opens to each time is larger.
    Thanks for any help,
    DD

Window | Workspace | Save Current
This gives you the opportunity to save a current layout look
    that you like
    You might also look under
    Edit |Preferences | Status bar - but I don't see that this
    does anything
    in DWCS3

  • How to Change System profile Options

    Hi Friends
I want to Change System profile Option "PASSWORD CASE OPTION" from "MIXED" to "INSENSITIVE"......how
can I clear it at the Site Level without logging in E-Business Suite Login Page
    Thanks

Try something like this from backend:
    select fpot.user_profile_option_name, fpov.profile_option_value
    from apps.fnd_profile_options fpo, apps.fnd_profile_options_tl fpot, apps.fnd_profile_option_values fpov
    where fpo.profile_option_id = fpov.profile_option_id
    and fpov.level_id=10001
    and fpo.profile_option_name like '%PASSWORD%'
    and fpo.profile_option_name=fpot.profile_option_name
    and fpot.language='US'
    order by 1;
you can take a backup and update the table from backend. But, be cautious (oracle doesn't recommend updating from backend).

You need to be connected to the CDB/root to change it
See the Oracle doc for how to connect to the root
    https://docs.oracle.com/database/121/NTDBI/startrdb.htm#CHDIIIDB
8.5 Accessing Oracle Database with SQL*Plus
To issue SQL and PL/SQL statements to Oracle Database, you can use SQL*Plus. This tool enables you to perform the same database management operations, and query, insert, update, or delete data directly in the database.
To start SQL*Plus, from the Start menu, select All Programs, then Oracle - HOMENAME, then Application Development, and then SQL Plus.
Alternatively, at the command line, you can enter the following command at a Windows command prompt:
    C:\> sqlplus /nolog  SQL> CONNECT user_name  Enter password: password
For example, to log on as SYSTEM using the password password, you enter:
C:\> sqlplus /nolog  SQL> CONNECT SYSTEM  Enter password: password
Then change the password. You could also log onto the root as SYS as SYSDBA and then change the SYSTEM password.

  • How to geht System/Windows Language

    Hi experts,
just a short question - how to get the language of the current system? I mean for example the language of the current Windows, NOT SAP!
Is there any function that gives me this?
    Regards
    Michael

The language from the user account in the SAP system is not evaluated.
although this is in the doco - my own experience would suggest otherwise!
It may however, be that the language in the user account is used by the portal to determine locale - which is then passed through to the WD application.
changing the user language of the SAP user account certainly does change the default language of the portal log on.
[user changed to Spanish in user record - note portal app in Spanish|http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/e9b4cbd069.gif]
now running the WDA in the same portal session - launches it in Spanish too...
[POWL (WDA app) in Spanish - you can see I have still a little work to do with some translations|http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/7ce255ed51.gif]
so perhaps launching the WDA application directly for this user would not render it in Spanish - but it is definitely rendering and sy-langu is using 'ES' when launched from portal - and only change I made to the user to effect this - was to change the language in the user account.
    Cheers,
    Chris
