How to change the amount of shared RAM

Dear Sir,
I am using Lenovo 3000 C100. When I check the system properties -> general tab, I see that i have 248 MB of RAM available. I suppose that the total RAM might be 256 MB.
upon checking the size of my video RAM, in the plug and play monitor -> adapter, I see the memory size to be 128 MB
Is this memory coming from my 256 MB RAM chip? If so, how can I decrease it to a desired level since I have not been able to see any option which does that.
please help.

I guess 256mb is the RAM, and the display adapter-video card is 128mb, both are different. it's OK.

Hi all,
I want to post the invoice in SAP with FB60. The journal is as follow:
Dr. Expense    1000 USD
Dr. VAT-Input    100 USD
      Cr. Account Payable     1100 USD
But the problem, the amount of Account payable is 1000 USD. Because I want to fill the amount in vendor line item (FB60) with the original expense (1000 USD).
I want to ask, there is any configuration in SAP to change the amount in vendor line item which it could be the same with amount of the original expense.

Thanks for your reply. The result of posting invoice that I want is as follow:
Dr. Expense    1000 USD
Dr. Vat - Input    100 USD
Cr. Account Payable   1100 USD
When posting invoices in FB60, there is a filed "amount vendor line item" at the top. Usually the field is filled with amount vendor 1100 USD, but I want to fill it with the expense amount (1000 USD). Which can be show the account payable 1100 USD.
Is there any configuration to change the field "amount vendor line item" ?

How to change the Amount in LC(DMBTR) in F-02

Usually, when we create accounting document though F-02. the Amount in LC(bseg-DMBTR) is create base on the amount(bseg-WRBTR) and the local currency .
Now I want to change this field's value, I want to know in which program create I can change the Amount in LC(bseg-dmbtr) , or can we change it in Substitution (ZRGGBS000) ?

If you want to change amount LC or DC
Please cancel/reverse document in FB08 if it is open item
if it is Cleared item means use T code - FBRA
and post new document correct LC amount

It's more or less a hardware limitation. Some of max memory specs are firmware limitations.
Maxing out you RAM is a good idea, but you're still stuck with a max 4 GB RAM installed and 3.2 GB used. I would think later models that currently can run an unofficial 6 GB won't get any kind of firmware update.
Cloning is easy. The hard drive swap may be a bit harder. It's not so hard that I wouldn't try myself if I had one (I refuse to try on an iBook) but it's more involved than a polycarbonate MacBook or any of the new unibody MacBook/MacBook Pro models.

o nevermind, jorge was right, in the drivers window u can change this, i found it when : go to preferences, go to audio, look at the lil tabs under the bigger icons, right under the audio icon u see drivers, click it and u see the max number of tracks thingy, thanks alot dude

If you are using Windows NT/2000/XP, monitoring free memory is very easy. Simply right click on the task bar and open the Task Manager. Click on the Performance tab, and you'll be able to monitor the physical memory total and available on your PC.

How to change the Timestamp In a program

We faced a problem today, Some of the critical jobs from a source system are going to short Dump. Unfortunately we couldn't find any lockwaits, deadlocks and any delay in SM37. After analyzing, we came to know that, SAP trace indicates failure occured during program /GLB/RGTCSR_RC_INV execution :

The timestamp for the execution of the program has been set as "20.070.801.000.000", that does mean it will try to retrieve all values after the date 01.08.2007 and the time 00:00:00. Now checking on the code we can see there is a logic written which retrieves the values from the table /GLB/RGTT_CS_RC, checking on the Goods Movement status (wbsta) , timestamp and document number (VBELN_SO) if any. For this case VBELN_SO is blank and vbsta is equal to space (Not Relevant). This retrieval helped to logic to retrieve 706706 document and items from the table. This amount of data is huge and we would like to request BW team to run the program with a smaller timestamp to avoid any inconsistencies and also to avoid the dumps which can occur when we try to play with this huge entries.
Checking on the code, two similar selects have been written on the same table /GLB/RGTT_CS_RC, firstly to select all the document numbers relevant to the timestamp and wbsta value and secondly to check "Get records that may have already been used", depending on the document number and item numbers. But as we are doing a select * it will automatically select VBELN_SO as well as POSNR_SO. Hence, the second select from the same table is irrelevant and it will only effect the performance of the system, in the worst case it will terminate the program with this huge amount of entries. Hence, this logic has to be combined to one single select for which the first select statement is enough. Playing with a huge amount of data 706706, and retrieving from the same table twice can surely result in a short dump. Also there are couple of loops has been done on the same table which reduces the performance too.
Possible solution looks like we need to reduce the time stamp and run it,
can some one tell me how to change the time stamp in a program???

First check the connection with the source system. If its ok then replicate the datasource and activate. Then try with running job.
Time stamp error usually happens when source system in BI and r/3 side differs.

If this SO is processed partially - i.e. transactions happened - You cant change it
You can use ABAP and change it in Debug mode, but not advisable... Better to short close the SO and open a new SO for Balance qty

I modified the budget categories on the numbers template so now the transaction tab does not communicate with the budget tab. I figured out how to change the drop down options but how do I get it to reflect on my budget sheet? Please help.

If you are familar with the Numbers Budget Template it has two tabs 'Budget' and 'Transactions'. If you use the template as it is designed when you input expenses on the transaction tab it will automatically add that amount into the selected category on the budget tab. I have madified my budget tab to reflect the caegories that I need, which included adding several to the template. I also added to the table so it reflects my income and expenses so I can track where I am at with a glance. Since I did this, I can't get my transactions tab to communicate with the budget tab. I figured out how to change the options in the drop down box for category but I con't figure out how to get it to reflect onto my budget tab. I'm sure that it is an easy fix, however, I am just not well versed in Numbers. I appreciate your time in helping me with this issue.

My guess is that while you added catetories to your Budget Sheet by adding new lines and filling in the category column, you didn't also add the formulas to these new budget lines.
The proper way to add those lines would have been to select a cell in the line just above where you want to add a line and type Option/Alt-DownArrow. This would have copied the formulas into the new line. Maybe you did this, and maybe not. You didn't give details on how you added the lines.
Select C2 and D2 and Command-C to copy them to the Clipboard.
Select all the cells of Columns C and D except for the top and bottom rows and Command-V to Paste.
If I have properly guessed the problem, you should be in business. This assumes that your Categories are exaclty the same as the entries in your Pop-up menus. Spelling counts, as does case.

I don't think its possible for downloading from interactive report but let's see if anyone else has got a work around.
The other way to have absolute control over report layout is to create reports using 'Report Query' & 'Report Layout' under 'Shared Components'.

The category 'view' of items/folders uses the default style of the content area it is defined in (shared categories use the default shared style). Edit the default style to change the font/color of the items/folders returned within the category 'view'. Unfortunately, you don't have the ability to control the layout(like folder regions) - they always display in rows.

Has anybody found out how to change the workgroup name in 10.5?

I have been trying to connect to XP machine shared folders and it is not working.
I've tried using smb and it gives connection error or says Ithe user has not permission in the machine
I've started in 10.4 from backup disk and it is working OK.
I see that in 10.4 it asked for DOMAIN/ Workgroup name , and this option has disappeared in 10.5
Has anybody found out how to change the workgroup name in 10.5?
