Hi Robert,
You actually cannot edit the current template.
The process is as follow:
create a brand new project site from the existing template,
edit the site configuration (list, column, webparts, image, logo, theme...),
save it as a template,
associate it to an EPT.

Refresh the drop down list after update the table

I have tab with three pages in each page one data block. I have table with primary key of combination of the other tables foreign key. I am populating the combination of foreign key in dorp down list. In the when-new-form-instance trigger I populate the two lists, work fine. But if I add a new record in the other tables and I need this one to display in the list. I am trying to execute the same procedure which is populate the list
First time I get this error. FRM-41337. How can refresh the list to display the new record as well.

What you wanna do is to display the element entered in the List after you have added it manualy.
I think you must re-populate the Recordgroup
again.
The Procedure you used to populate the RecordGroup in the When-new-Form-Instance,
must include the statement:

Suppress entries in the drop down list box for fields Priority and Category

Hello,
For the transaction type 'Service Process' , I want to suppress certain values in the drop down list box for the fields Priority and Category based on certain conditions.I couldn't find a suitable badi for this scenario.
Is there a solution so that I can control the values displayed in the drop down list box ?

Restricting values on the drop down list, while creating a PO

Hello SAP Experts,
Could you help me with the following.
While creating a PO (ME21N), based on the Account Assignment Category(KNTTP) entered , I have to restrict the values in the drop down list for selecting the material group (MAKTL). I have searched some in SDN, but couldn't find anything suitable. Appreciate any help.

Why won't my drop down list populate from the array?

I am using the following array.

Hi Jerald,
You can't assign null to the display value of a drop down control. If you change the HUD activity number array to remove the null it should work.
That is;
// Array of HUD Activity Numbers.

Facing the problem ValueChangeListener of the Drop Down List

Hi,
I am using the JDeveloper 10.1.3.5.0 and the JHeadStart 10.1.3.3.88. In my requirement, I am having three View Objects(V1,V2,V3). I need to create a page based on one VO(V1) displayed as table. In the screen, there are 6 columns. Three of them(C1,C2,C3) are having the static values( coming from the VO(V1) from which it has been built), and the others are, one column(C4) is displayed as the drop down list(for some of the rows, drop down list values are coming from the VO(V2), and for the others drop down list values are coming from the other VO(V3). The other column(C5) is a input text field, that is enabled or disabled based on the selected values from the drop down list column(C4). The column(C6) is a check box. Now, coming to the actual requirement, the rows are related to the papers. For each paper, there are 5 methods of studies. One of the method of study is SelfLearning (5th method of study), for this the drop down values are coming from the VO(V3), and for the other methods of studies(1 to 4), the drop down values are coming from the VO(V2). Now, for a user, based on the number of papers, the number of rows are displayed.(1 paper- 5 rows, 2 papers-10 rows like wise). Initially, drop down list is displaying the null values. When I change the value in the drop down list, I need the ValueChangeListener has to be called and it has to call the method in the bean. From the bean, the column(C5) has to be enabled or disabled. This is working fine for the inital 5 rows and 7,8,9,10 rows and 12,13,14,15 rows. But, the ValueChangeListener is not working for the rows 6 and 11. I used the debug concept,and I confirmed that the valueChangeListener is not getting called for the rows 6,11,16 rows.

The problem gets solved. Actually, the problem is at the VO Query. The small modification in the query at the attribute p_id( C1 ) has solved the issue.

Drop-down list, over riding the entry?

I am developing an VISITOR Adobe Interactive Form, i have Designer 8.1 and Reader 9.0 in my Windows 7 Laptop. When i checked the menu EDIT-->form properties --> Compatability, its Adobe XML form File (XDP)
When i opened this VISITOR interactive form in a browser, right clicking and checked form PROPERTIES, then i saw the "PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)"
I have a bunch of drop-downs in my interactive form, done by dragging & dropiing the 'Drop-down list' object, at the end i binded it with some data source, working fine, say its COUNTRY list.
As soon as use opened the form, he saw the 'USA' prepopulated in the drop-down field, fine.
User dropped down the entries, he saw a couple, like USA, Canada, UK, Spain, fine.
But, now user want to enter / override this USA entry with his own value, like FRANCE, but, my form is not allowing, its behaving like a 'readOnly' field!
Pls. let me know how to over ride a entry of drop-down values, as per user wanting value?

If I understand your issue properly, then I think what you need to do is
check the "Allow Custom Text Entry" box on the FIELD page of the OBJECT
palette. It can be found under the area where you define the list items in
your drop down list.

all the UI elements in the adobe form are generally connected to your web-dynpro Context.
whatever you type in the online adobe form is reflected in the respective context attributes of the dynpro Context of the view where "ur Interactive form UI element is".
that means you can yourself fill the contents of ur interactive form by working on the get/set methods of the context attributes.
Likewise you can clear the form by setting all context attributes to blank eg ""

How do I get the location bar drop-down list to show the most recently visited page at the top? I have no idea how it's deciding what to display.

In IE when you show the drop-down list from the location bar, it show you all of your most recently visited pages in descending order with the most recent at the top. Firefox is showing me a list that I have no idea where it's getting the pages from or how it's ordering them. It doesn't update the pages or the order when I go to a new page. I have recently switched from IE to Firefox and cannot figure out how to get Firefox to do this; very annoying.

That drop down list doesn't show recently visited pages, but shows list list of most visited sites sorted by what the Mozilla devs call frecency (frequency and recency) and is based on bonus points. It is not possible to have much influence on what shows on that list.
If you want a list of recently visited sites then you can use a smart bookmark e.g. on the Bookmarks Toolbar with the location set to this smart folder. 
Name: Recently Visited 
Location: place:queryType=0&sort=4&maxResults=30 
You need to close and restart Firefox to make that folder work as intended.

How to increase the width of the drop down list box in SSRS multi value parameter

I am using SSRS 2012. I have a parameter, which accepts multi value.
The width of the drop down list box is very small, and the user need to scroll to the right to view the complete view of the content in the list box. But, if I don't use multi value then the length is good. Kindly suggest how to I increase the width
of the list box when it set to multi value parameter.

After testing the issue in my local environment, I can reproduce it. When the values for a single parameter are too long, the drop-down list of the parameter will automatically enlarge to an appropriate size. While the values for a multiple parameter are
too long, we need to scroll to the right to view the complete view of the content in the list box in SSRS 2008. But in SSRS 2008R2 and SSRS 2012, we can directly drag the black control at the bottom of the list box to control the size.

Thanks for your reply. I understood we need to drag the list box to a maximum size to view the contents.
But, this seems an additional task, i know this is a limitation in the current version of SSRS and hope it will be resolved in the next versions.

In Firefox 4, how do I get back the context menu for the drop down list of the Location Bar so I can Open Link in New Tab, which I did often in FF 3?

Firefox 3 has a context menu for the drop down list of
the Location Bar. One option on this menu I used often
is "Open Link in New Tab" -- quite convenient.
This context menu has disappeared in Firefox 4.
Can I get it back?

The "Use custom settings for history" setting allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting that setting doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.

How to populate the values in the drop down list form the xml file ?

I want to populate the drop down list values from a seperate xml file called ReferenceData. I created this file, which consists of a mapping entry in the form of ( key,value ) pair. Am mapping this xml file in to form by using rule named as getAppReferenceData.
But the values are not getting populated in the form. And I have a doubt of, where should we keep that xml file? (under which path / folder ).

what would help is if you showed what you do in the rule, either the code or a express trace of the rule.
The other thing you need to know is where you want to get the file from. Yes java can read a file from anywhere on the system but there is a security layer in there which might prevent the file being opened. Have you allowed acces to the file via the security policy settings via java.io.FilePermission?
