How to change the icon of the news in Portal?

Do you know how to change the icon of the news in Portal?
I use NewBrowser to Browser the news, but I think the Icon of the News is not good,I want change it ? what should I do?

Hi,
if you are talking about the NewsBrowser of Knowledge Management (Content Management -> Explorer -> News), you should see a button "Edit" on the right side of the news.
Press this button and fill in a new URL in the input field "Image URL". After saving the new settings, the new image should be displayed.

You cannot directly. If you have a jFrame (e.g.) with your own icon you can use one of the JDialog costructors using (Component owner, ... ). Then the dialog will display the same icon.

Using linux, the default icon for the bookmarks menu button is quite ugly. Is there a way to change the icon for the button with some code in userChrome.css ?

After several intents, I found a solution.
This is my userChrome.css file:

How to change the icon of the jar file w/o changing the windows setting

I may be in wrong forum/area but I am not sure.
I have created a windows executable jar file. Functionally it works fine. I can double click it to start my app. I want to change the icon of the jar file. I know I can change the icon for .jar extension in windows, but I want to be able to give a seperate icon for just this one file.
All windows applications have thier own icon like Word, Excel etc. Is there any way I can do this for java apps? Also could this icon be kept consistent across platform say if I copy my app to linux? (Assuming it is not made for any particular os.)

AFAIK you cannot specify an icon for a jar file. You can, however, specify an icon for a Frame using the setIconImage() method. This will have the effect of showing the icon in the taskbar for instance.

My block(Updatable block) should allows updations and insertions so i can't make insert_allowed and update_allowed property to "NO".I tried with

yeah u can change the JFileChooser's title by calling the setDialogTitle(String) method. i'm not sure of the icon change, i think it can't be done.

One more question - I initially decided to do this because my Mac kept opening with the date changed to 2008, and I keep having to re - enter my Web key. In addition, it was running much slower. Since I 'cleaned' everything out, I thought all would work perfect. This morning, the date changed to 2008; again AND it again asks for my Web key. Does this mean my Mac has reached it's almost end or could I have a 'bug' on it?

I am new to Adobe forms and I need to bring a icon indicating the satus ( For example green icon shoud be displayed if the values exceed our expection ) . Currently if I try to bring an icon in the form it is just displaying the text value corresponding to the icon even though the icon is of data type ICONTEXT (For Example:Instead of displaying a icon in green it just displaying the corresponding text values like '@@4' ) . When we try to display the same icon in the table view it is displayed in a form of image.

The ADS will not understand this as an icon and create it on the PDF. If you want to insert an icon in the
PDF you should insert it as an image in the Designer.

If you mean the items on the Dock, just click and drag up/down on the vertical dashed line that separates program icons from those for Documents, Applications, Downloads, and Trash.
