How to change the location of footnotes?

I want to change the locations my footnotes.
Instead of a footnote beneath the box, I want to place it in a different textbox.
Most easily is to make a textbox on a masterpage and link it with the footnote 'placer'.
I have attached a sample of I want to display my footnotes. Just beneath the page - separately -

A: Add one or two more line in the textbox on the master page, plus noting more sources next to each other. Which makes it possible to note approximately 12 sources.
But really? No way to I can get InDesign's footnotes outside the story's frame? Noway?!
Really sure about that? I use Adobe CC and I cannot believe that it isn't possible. Serious? I thought you can make every kind of lay-out with InDesign.

How to change the location of all fotos in the iPhoto library?

my iPhoto 11 library is stored locally on my macbook.
however, my fotos (the actualy bits) are stored externally on a NAS box.
(or in other words: option "Importing: [ ] Copy items to the iPhoto Library" is not checked)
recently i purchased a timecapsule and i now want to move all fotos from the NAS box to the timecapsule.
i am looking for a way to batch-change the location of all fotos from let's say "/Volumes/MyNas/..." to "/Volumes/MyTimecapsule/...".
can this be done? any ideas?

Or use Aperture which can do this easily
However if you are using your Time Capsule as a Time Machine bakcup volume it is not a good place to put your photos - if you do you have no backup of them which means that sooner of later you will lsoe them - and sooner or later TM will fill the volume and make it impossible to add photos

How to change the location value after it is registered

hello,
I want to change the location (A) to a new schema. From what I am understanding, I need to unregister the old locatin(A) in repository browser, and then re-register it in control center, and change the schema name to my new target.
Now, I have unregisted A in the repository browser. When I come back to control center, and click the register, everything is grey out which means I cannot change the value (but i need to change the value for service name and schema), except the password value. and on the top, it says 'this location has not been registered. please complete the location parameters'.But I know on the old version, like owb 9.0.5, the grey out means this location is registered. So I am really comfused now. The location is unregisted, why cant I change the value of this location?
any suggestion will be appreciated.

At this point you can safely modify the Locations info in the Connection Explorer (in Design Center). On the other hand, if you want the location to be deleted all together then now you can delete it in the Connection Explorer panel. If you did the prior drop step then at this point all db link info should be gone from the database.

How to change the location PC suite store files ??...

I have a N95, and recently install PC suite on my PC, but I can not have all my pictures and videos store in my C: drive because it's my system drive and I would like to have all PC suite's data stored into my D drive, which is my data drive.
How can I configure (change) the default file location setting of PC suite ?

the applications in pc suite each work independantly of each other, so you need to dig into the settings of the application you are using and change the default location

How to Change the Location of the Anchor Point

Very new to affter effects.... i was wondering if you guys could please tell me how to move the blue anchor for animation of text please.

If you just want to move the anchor point on your text layer you can do it by hand instead of going in and manually adjusting it from the transform menu as Dave suggested.
However, by what you've written it seems like there may be some confusion about what moving the anchor point actually accomplishes. So just to clarify, the anchor point, or the small crosshair icon usually in the middle or corner of the layer, is actually a customizable location that essentially dictates the center around which the position, scale and/or rotation values will change when your layer is animated over time with keyframes.
For example, if you would like to move the anchor point so that your text rotates around a point near the corner of the layer, you can press the Y key to activate the Pan Behind Tool and move the anchor point to the corner. If you have CS6 you can hold down the Command Key to lock the anchor point to the center, corner or edge of your layer. A little square will appear around the Anchor Point when it's ready to lock.
If you've keyframed some of the properties on a layer and would like to temporarily see how your layer looks without messing up any animation you've done on it, simply duplicate the layer by selecting it in the Comp's layer panel and going to Edit - Copy and Edit - Paste. That way you can do whatever you'd like on the duplicated layer wihout harming your original Then do one or more of the following:
A.) You can reset all of the trnsform properties of the layer by clicking Reset. This will set your layer back to it's default transform settings.
B.) Or, you can delete all of the keyframes on an individual property by clicking the stopwatch again.
C.) Also, clicking the light yellow diamond next to the Source Name will delete a single keyframe and the arrows on either side will move the playhead from keyframe to keyframe. You can of course always delete keyframes manually by selecting them in the timeline and hitting delete. Holding Shift will snap the playhead to each keyframe.

How to change the location of rendered files ?

Hi guys,
After finishing I was playing around & exploring the SHARE option.
I did SHARE > MEDIA BROWSER then select Mac & PC. Then I click PUBLISH.
What happened next was, FCPX starts rendering ! How come it did not prompt & ask me where I want the rendered files to be located at ?
Upon seacrhing, I manage to locate it at EXTERNAL HARDDISK > FINAL CUT PROJECTS folder.
How do I change the destination ?

Hello Valerie,
probably this problem is caused by the file/directory access rights on the apex.home (the place where the APEX Listener stores its configuration). The default location would be ${java.io.tmpdir} which again defaults to */tmp/apex* in most cases. However, this is mostly a global location, not a user specific one. On the other hand, the files are created with write acces limited to the owner and read access limited to owner and group. So if you try to start with a different user, the APEX Listener tries to use the same location, but cannot access the files as needed and hence fails. root obviously will not have this problem, but I would recommend not to use this account for any service you run.
You can set a start option to make the APEX Listener use a different location for apex.home that is read-/writable for your current user. This could like
java -Dapex.home=/home/user/apex -jar ./apex.warOf course you can change the directory to any place that fits to your system.

You can't modify the order of columns in a table, though there shouldn't be any particular reason to care about the order of columns.
You can always create a view over the table that SELECT's the columns in the order you want, though.

I was trying to sort the same thing for my bro's library on his work laptop PC. They deleted half his apps because they were taking to much space on his network profile.
iTunes preferences allows you to change the folder that the music is saved to just nothing else.
You've said that: "Music, TV Shows, Movies, Audiobooks, applications and everything else are all stored together by iTunes." Can I move this entire library from the network drive it sits on to the laptop's C: drive? If so, how? Or is it as simple as drag and drop like it probably would be on my Mac lol.

At the moment when i try to buy a book everything comes up in german and i dont follow! I have the timezone correct etc..
I have even put french to the top of the list in the languages...nothing changing, every other country is written in french, then i get 'Switzerland'..no choice of grench or german..

The creation date is stored within the file/directory metadata.
You can always drag the file to your desktop for easy access, and physical drag it to the terminal to complete the file path.
If you want to change the creation date manually via terminal, you can use
touch -t (space + new date format + drag file here)
This will set both the creation and modification dates to the same date, but you can then change the modification date alone via
touch -m:
touch -t 201012160102.03 /path/to/file
The above example changes the creation and modification dates of /path/to/file to +December 16th, 2010 at 1:02:03am+ .

How to change the location of the "Diamond" on the Timeline

I am new to Flash and using it for just about a month. I created a series of approximately ten layers all with motion tweens. The basic drift is that a series of "letters" are moving from right to left and so on. Eventually they all land at the same "frame" and someone's anme is spelled out. The actual duration of the timeline exceeds the tween as there is a background being built. Therefore when my tween stops for all the layers, there is the "diamond symbol to indicate the stop of the tween. I happened to notice that all of the layers had the exact same frame location of the diamond (135, for instance), but one of the layers fell short at 134. It actually causes the letters to misalign. How can I move the "diamond" just one postion to the right, thus causing everything to be in harmony? Thanks all!

How to change the location of "Mobile Applications" in iTunes Library?

OS: WinXP-Pro
iTunes: 8.0.2.20
I'm trying to move my "Mobile Applications" folder away to another drive to save some space because there's a quota problem on my C drive. However after searching I only found how to move 'Music Folder' away instead of the entire iTunes library.
My understanding is iTunes needs (maybe hard-coded?) its library at "My Documements\My Music" to store the db and xml files. For potentially large music files, the "iTunes Music" can be moved away (pointed to another location).
My question is can this also be done on "Mobile Applications" folder?
The most desirable solution for me is to be able to create a single library folder on my external drive, and I can choose which library to connect/sync to in iTunes on different computers. Could you please advice how?

Move the itunes Library.itl file to your exHD.
Then to get itunes to start using it from that new location, press *and hold* the shift key while starting itunes. Choose "use existing library" and browse out to the ITL file that is now on the exHD.
Future app downloads will go to the Mobile Applications folder created there. It will also start downloading the itunes store artwork to the exHD.
You can try downloading a free app to test it.
