I set up two emails in iCloud account on Macbook Pro. How can I change the Primary right between these emails? Please help with thanks.

Do you mean selecting the address which by default appears as the 'From' address when composing a message? Mail Preferences>Composing and set 'Send new messages from' to the required address.
If that isn't what you mean can you please explain in detail what you are trying to do.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

How to change the primary harddisk without reinstall

Hi,
I want to solve the following task:
Change the primary SATA harddisk to an new SSD in Small Business Server 2003.
What I did:
I installed the SSD in to the system and made a software mirror. The two harddisk showed full synch.
The problem:
When I removed the original harddisk to let the mirrored start, it didn’t. It says: “Ntldr is missing”
What I tried:
I wanted to use fixboot; however Recovery console (nor from SBS neither from XP) didn’t recognize the partition fully. It recognized the Dynamic partition, but without letter and also didn’t find Windows installation.
I am looking for an advice how I can transfer the OS to the new disk without reinstall.

Server 2003 software mirror requires that you break the mirror if you wish to revert to a single disk. Then, because the boot.ini refers to drive1/partition1, you will need to edit that. The easiest way to test is to boot from a floppy with the
boot.ini altered, while keeping your original drive safe from harm.
Can you confirm that you don't need to load storage drives unique to that mobo or controller.... I'm guessing not since you used software raid.

Having said all that, you will gain little by having the system partition on an SSD drive, and SBS 2003 is out of support in April, so if you haven't made plans to migrate to something newer you might want to start those plans soon.

I have searched for hours to try to find this answer.
I want to change the primary node of a resource group.
example.
log-rg runs on node1.this.com it will list node1.this.com first when you do clrg status.
But we run it on node2.this.com
A reboot will have log-rg run on node1 after a reboot. We have to switch it by hand to run
on node2 .
I want it to know that it should always try to first run on node1, but still failover to node2 if the situation arises.
scswitch -z -g log-rg -h node2 (and all the fully qualified versions of this command)
would not work.
How tow can I change the primary node for log-rg (logZ) from node1 to node2???

clrg show -v log-rg
For change order Nodelist you can:
clrg remove-node -n node1 log-rg
clrg add-node -n node1 log-rg
But tis command more destructive. It may be problem add-node back to this RG.
I don't know why Validation of resource log-tiv in res group log-rg on node1 failed.
Need more know about configuration, resourse type, etc.
May be it's better create for test small RG and try move and change resource.
Nodelist - say candidates for run this resources. But at this moment RG can run on any from this list.

If you have more than one email account on your phone, you can change the default account under Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>Default Account. Note that this setting does not appear unless you have more than one account on your phone. So, you'll need to add the email account from your ISP under Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Add New Account if you have not already done so.

I had MobileMe on the iPhone with alias email addresses and I liked how it didn’t attach any “name” to an alias. For example, I had MainUserName, then for aliases I would have [email protected], [email protected], etc. When I sent an email from my iPhone using one of the aliases as the "from" no name would be associated with the alias email address. If it was the MainUserName then it would associate it, e.g. Main User <[email protected]> will show up on the "From" field when I sent an email. But with iCloud on the iPhone (and iPad), it’s Main User <[email protected]>, Main User <[email protected], etc., which I don’t want. If anything it should be Alias 1 <[email protected]> or Alias 2 <[email protected]>. Anyway, I don't want any name associated with the aliases, so when I send an email it will simply say [email protected] or just [email protected] with no name association.
It works differently if I access iCloud through a web browser. If I send an email via iCloud on the web, I can customize and have a different name with each alias, e.g., Tom <[email protected]> or Harry <[email protected]> And the customization carries over to the Mail app on my Mac. That would be ideal if the customization carried over to the iPhone and iPad, but I'd be happy if there was no name association with alias email addresses. Hopefully, there's a solution to the iPhone/iPad situation with iCloud as I don't want the name linked with the main iCloud email address linked with all the different email aliases I have.

I was recently divorced and got the iMac in the divorce. However, the original apple id was under my ex. Now, no matter what I do, I can't get it to accept my apple id as the primary. I have logged off on his apple id and have logged in under mine. Then when I go to update, it has his apple id grayed out and states I need his password. It will not allow me to change it to my apple id. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You'd have to erase the hard drive using either the original install disks (Snow Leopard or earlier) or Internet Recovery (Lion or later) by pressing Command + Option + R keys until you see the Utilities screen. In either case, erase the hard drive and then choose to reinstall the OS. You can then update using your own Apple ID. This should be the same process as buying a Mac which has not been prepared by the seller as required (the original OS reinstalled).

I figured it out! I changed my email & password at the icloud site, then when I deleted the icloud account on my iphone - it still showed my old email but when i typed in my current password it went through. I was then able to sign back in with my current email and password. That was too easy for the amount of time I have put into this! Glad its finally fixed.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.

Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. To change iCloud accounts you have to go to Settings>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with your other ID to create your new account. If you want to migrate a copy of the iCloud data to the new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save Image. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out, choose Keep on My iPhone and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload the data to your new account. Once you are on a separate account you can go to iCloud.com and delete your husband's data from your account (and he can do the same with yours).
Just be aware that the current @icloud.com email address cannot be moved to the new account, nor can the current my photo stream album (which is why you need to save any my photo stream photos you want to keep to your iPhone before signing out of the existing account).

i've got a ton of users, whose primary group is "current student". they all belong to the other group "year 13"
they've left school, so i thought it would be easy to do a search of users with GID equal to or containing the GID for "year 13" (in this case 1121) and then change their primary group to "left school"
except that doesn't work. i can only search for them in WGM by primary group, it seems. therefore i cannot do any batch operations on a secondary group.
so. how do i do this? is there a way of scripting dcsl to find users by 'other group' and then change the primary group attribute?
i'm going to need to be doing a lot of this (changing the other gropus of a school full of students). bit stumped.
