I have one page in which i add people search portlet.It work very nice but problem is here I want to change the 'search' to 'find person' .Can any one tell me how to change the 'search' to find person.pls help me how to do that

*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

which is not good, RichQuery component can be inside popup and I do not want to add an extra button just to close the popup window

How to change the "ok" button to "update" button

Hi all
I update a field of text within a form and i want as result of the update to change the default button (id = "1") from ok to update the same way it happens when the user enter text in the field. how can i do that through code?

How to change the TOC button?

Hi!
I´d like to change the TOC button. In former versions its simply with four lines on it, with version 8 it´s labeled with "TOC". Can I get the lines back??
And how do I change the label for bookmarks? (right beside the small bookmark icon it says "title", but I´d like to label it "content" or something else)

Still don´t know how to change the label for bookmarks in TOC ...
But I found the solution for changing the TOC button: somewhere in the program folder are FLA-files for the different skins. Choose the FLA corresponding to your selected skin, open it with Flash and check the library for the button you want to change. Doubleclick in the library and create anew (I changed the "TOC" into three lines). Export SWF and then take care to put it where the original skin SWF is located. Voilá!
Hopefully someone can tell me a way to change the label ;-)

If you literally mean the text background.
It's a contentcontrol.
You can put whatever you like in it to hold the text.

How to get the search function to find the correct files

i have long wondered if it was me or the system, but i am very clear finally that the search function *****.
1) i try to find a word in a document.
2) the system shows me several possibilities. chapters 16, 18, 21, etc...
3) i then bring up each one individually and search each one. some of them DON'T EVEN HAVE THE WORD OR PHRASE IN THEM THAT I AM SEARCHING FOR. what's THAT all about?
4) so i look at my real life book or search on the web. voila! there it is. chapter 14.
5) i try again. both finder search and spotlight. NEITHER SHOW ME THE CORRECT DOCUMENT. neither shows me chapter 14. they still show 16, 18, 21, etc.
this has always been VERY mysterious.
it has happened hundreds of times over the years.
i am VERY clear now it is NOT me and it IS the system.
what use is it to get a list of documents that do not have the correct criteria and NOT get the document that has the correct criteria?
is leopard as sucky?

i have been cursing this search feature for years.
i often try to find exact words in a particular book
that i have on my computer as .doc files.
and it often does not find what i want and it often
finds what i do not want. so i am very confused.
i went to system preferences. opened spotlight.
there is nothing listed under 'don't search here'...
and i have only a few things listed under 'search here.
i do not understand how that link could help my
problem.
when i search for the word inside a document or
inside a pdf, the programs find the word. but
finder/spotlight does not find it.
i still need more help.

How to change the menu button picture?

Hi,
How can I change the picture (or the 'movie frame') that appears in the sub-chapter menu buttons (those that link directly to different movies) in Encore CS5? By dedfault there appears the first frame from the sequence which in my case is black as I start my sequences with 'dip to black' dissolves. So, all of my sub-chapter menu buttons have black pictures as a result of that. I don't want to animate them, I just want to learn how to pick a frame from the sequence and turn it into a menu button picture.

Due to service package installation the search help in standard table (VBAP) field (KDMAT) was changed from Collective search help (VMCV) to elementary search help (VMCVA).
Now I need to change the elementary search help to Collective search help, without taking the Access Key.
Please suggest me the appropriate solution

In SE11, go to the change mode of the collective search help and add the elementary search help, in the INCLUDED SEARCH HELPS tab.for including elementary search help, you just have to enter the name of search help along with its parameter in collective search help
system autimatically takes selection method and dialog from elementary search help

How to change the Entourage button to Outlook at the bottom of the iPhoto screen?

i upgraded from Office for Mac 2008 to 2011. But the e-mail buttom at the bottom of the iPhoto screen still reads Entourage. When I try to e-mail a photo, 2008 opens up,; the seledted photo does not go to 2011. How to change this?

Have you tried renaming Outlook to Entourage to see if that will work?

Now i am facing one problem with my client server. The default search index location C: disk memory is full now. So i want to change the Index Location to another Drive like D:
i tried some PowerShell comlets nothing is working.

You will need to do it in PowerShell. In general you can't change the Index location after its setup. But you can create a new Index on the same server with the new location. Then remove the old Index. You have to do it with two passes
since you can't remove the existing Index until the new one is in place and synchronized. Take a look at the following Blog:

How to change the search provider when using the Firefox Home Button Search feature?

In Firefox itself I have configured duckduckgo as my default search provider.
But when I use the Firefox Home Button Search it is always set to google and I do not see any option to change that?
I like the Firefox Home Button Search (or whatever it's called) otherwise, but it's annoying that it does not use the default from Firefox.
I use the Google Now Launcher.

Do you mean the search engine that is used in the location bar?
You can modify the pref <b>keyword.URL</b> on the <b>about:config</b> page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or Google's "Browse By Name".

In the address bar, how do you get rid of the Amazon button, the "e-pub catalogue" button and change my search button to Google vs Babylon? Where is the button beside the forward arrow that would allow you to see your current history of links?

On my address bar, there is now a superfluous Amazon button at the right of the forward arrow where there used to be a button that would allow you to see your recent links. It's gone. In addition there is a useless "epub catalog" button and the search button is Babylon instead of Google. How do I go back to my working address bar.

Clarification:
I believe now you potentially lose all extensions, plug-ins when you use the new reset function, but you will let me know.
If that is the case, your find corrupt file method maybe better. However, I reviewed the two help articles and there appear to be more files than just the delete search.json file and a possible search.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder. I am confused. Then I have to find the folders. I think help articles mentioned how to find the profile containing the files, but not sure.
