How To Change To Hungarian Pc Keyboard Layout?

Hi there!
I've dwelved myself into learning programming and the very first day I had troubles. See, I got used to PC layouts, but whatever, I can learn it..
So I had my first big issue.. Wanting to write < and >. Sure, its easy, here, but in Eclipse, alt + shift + x (which makes the > sign), brings up a shortcut or something in Eclipse.. I believe that if I had the hungarian PC layout, which I don't, and the only one on the internet that I can find is currently missing as a 404, can't help either. I'm wondering if I buy a USB keyboard, does that give me the PC layout or the MAC layout?
Any possible solutions? I want to use Eclipse for html and php, or any other good IDE-s that may be out there, so "use a notepad" is not really a solution for me..

The keyboard is not important, as the layout is determined by software. You may be able modify the Hungarian layout that comes with OS X to match the PC version using the tool Ukelele:

Whether that will solve your problem with Eclipse I don't know.

How to change the lengths of the layout

I am executing one report, output is coming fine but next if i go to print preview for PO number only 9 digits are appearing one digit is missing, actually column is trucated, there in print preview there is one tab called Change Layout, there if i see length of the PO no is 9, so its showing only 9 digits, actually length of the PO no should be 10.in change layout the length is editable i can change from 9 to 10, after that there is a button called copy, then it will show correctly, it works only one time, so each and every time user has to change the length, so can any one suggest how to change that length in the layout permanently, bcos there is no save button there.
Can any one tell me from where all these lengths are coming which are appearing in change layout.Surely its not coming from the report.

That depends upon the space provided by the ALV column for that variable or the heading size its not based on the data element size.
If you want to be more clear lust count the space available for each field available at the print preview.
The details for that are stored in table T180S just see the documentation available for that table.
And see when the table is getting filled like that so that you will be able to find a solution where and how it is getting populated.
Use column width optimization for getting the correct output.

Warmup question: What exactly is the difference between an "input method" and a "keyboard layout"?
Real question: What exactly happens when I switch keyboard layouts and enter control characters, and how can I change it?
I'll use as an example Hebrew-QWERTY and the "a" key. That key maps to Hebrew character aleph or א. What happens when I press control-a?
The Emacs text editor claims to receive a control-aleph, saying "^א is undefined". This is a very strange character: א with bit 26 set. It doesn't even have a Unicode codepoint.
TextEdit normally responds to control-a by moving to the start of the line. It doesn't do so with Hebrew-QWERTY in force, hence it's not getting a control-a. I have no idea what it is getting.
The goal, by the way, is to create a keyboard layout that does NOT change the mapping of control characters. I don't want control-a to send a useless control-aleph; I want it to send control-a as usual. But if I examine the Hebrew-QWERTY layout in (say) Ukelele, it knows nothing of control-aleph and claims to map control-a to itself as usual. Therefore something else is producing these weird control characters. Who?
If I'm hopelessly confused, please don't hesitate to say so. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that I'm missing something simple but crucial.

How to change letter in System Keyboard?

Hi, I need to change characters in my system Keyboard.
Confused?
The thing I need is: When I type "comma" in my real physical keyboard I want that it appears a "point" instead. In the old Mac Os09 I did using Resedit to edit the keyboard file. Is there a similar way to do this in Mac os 10.4.8.

It's best not to change a system keyboard, but make a new one and put it in Home/Library/Keyboard Layouts.
Also if you still have your OS 9 keyboard, just add .rsrc to its name and put it in Home/Library/Keyboard Layouts.

I have problem with change width columns in web. I can change width column in paper layout and is ok but If I run web layout I get one column very wide and second thin. I cant find where I may this change
I find that is no easy. If you want change property in web layout you must edit JSP file, and you must know Java/JSP/HTML, and library reposrts JSP custom tag and reports xhtml tags.

I Don't know if it's something on the initial Start of my Palm TX, i don't remember!
Right now my on-screen keyboard have a AZERTY layout, the french on... I've setted the language in french, but I want to have the QWERTY layout like US and Canadian.
How can i do that??? with a hard reset to restart the initial setup??
BTW I don't mind if I must have my device en English, but I want a QWERTY keyboard!!! hehe

DW CC Fluid grid layout how to change px width for desktop layout

Hi there,
I have been going through the various tutorials about fluid grid layout and setting up our bureau's website in a responsive layout.
The width of the original design was 960 px and the hero pic and others have been exported at that size.
The first divs in the design look fine, header with the 960 px pic in it, and also the BC menu which is set to 960 wide.
However the body text goes out to the right, past the 960 px and this is because, right at the start, when starting the file in DW the desktop screen width is set to 1232px.
How can you change this setting when starting a new fluid grid layout?
I have tried changing the number of columns, or the percentage, and the width for desktop remains at 1232px.
Why is this?
Not all of our clients want a site 1232px wide on a pc.

Thanks for your replies, but maybe you both don't realise I am asking specifically about DW CC and setting up a responsive design using a fluid grid layout?
I have been following the recent videos from Adobe on this.
As far as the width of 960 goes, Nancy I am only shortchanging myself, as this is the website for our agency. The original design is 960px wide as I did read somewhere that this width is recommended now that responsive is coming, as it is easily divided into a grid layout. I also am quoting for a client at the moment who wants a responsive design for their website, and they have specifically requested that the site have a maximum width of 960 px. So I would like to find out if this is possible in DW CC at the moment when doing a fluid grid layout.
So what I am trying to do here is follow the Adobe tutorials on responsive design, using DW CC and I am using the current design for our agency website as a trial to set this up and try and get it working as a responsive website.
It does not seem to me that many other people are doing this, as most people are recommending that I try Github or Bootstrap.
However, I am not a coder and I am used to using DW, so I would like to get the DW CC responsive design features working if possible.
Ben the CSS you are looking at is being generated by DW CC as I follow the steps in the Adobe demonstration videos to set up a fluid grid layout in DW CC.
One of the things they say in the videos is that you can't program the CSS directly when doing a fluid grid layout, or you break the CSS and it all stops working. So I am using the new panels in DW CC to set up the layout. One thing I cannot get access to is the ability to set a maximum width for the site. It seems to be set in concrete when you start the fluid design up in DW CC.
Here is a pic of the screen I am talking about that sets the maximum width:
I cannot click in the pixel width at the top and change it. Also if I adjust the number of gridlines or the percentage for the pc layout, the default maximum pixel width does not change.
If you click on the preferences button and go into the Window sizes screen, there does not seem to be a way to set the maximum pc width here either, so I am a bit stumped.
Maybe I just have say to my clients that if you want a responsive design then the max width for pc can only be 1232px? It does seem strange to me that this cannot be changed.

Temporary change of default language/keyboard layout

I've started learning Arabic and I would like to be able to use Pages to type out written work. I'm aware that I'll have to figure out which keys correspond to which letter in Arabic but I can't figure out how to get to the stage whereby I can write in Arabic script. Is it possible to have my Pages layout in English but that I can type in Arabic script? I'm pretty sure I'm not good enough at the language yet to load the whole program in English.

Pages has various bugs that make using it for Arabic undesirable for most people. But it can't hurt to give it a try.
Go to system prefs/international/input menu and check the box for Arabic Qwerty, plus the box for Show Input Menu in Finder, then select Arabic in the "flag" menu at the top right of the Finder and type.
To see which key does what, use Keyboard Viewer, also activated via the input menu.

How do I restore default US keyboard layout?

I am running Tiger on a PPC. I recently chose Spanish to do some writing. I am unable to return my keyboard to the default US English layout even though it is now the only language chosen. Have followed directions for choosing language in system preferences. Thanks for any help.

Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, move these files to the Desktop...

Then reboot once more & set it up again.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.

well what you are saying is obvious to me. This is not the point for me and not what I wanted to know. But I think you answered my question anyway: OS X is unable to switch between windows of the same application as I mentioned in my example.
WHY NOT???
Every other OS is able to differentiate between windows and not just applications.
Another example: The Mail application and an Email editor window. When you are writing an Email and you want to switch to the main window of the Mail application to read something you must again use the mouse!
I mean Apple seems to be "somehow" using FreeBSD in the background and even in FreeBSD's window manager it is possible to switch between windows of the same application.
Well, in the Apple world it is always the pour user who is not intelligent enough to understand Apple's philosophy ;-(
To me this is not modern, it is simply a weakness of the OS.

How come my custom keyboard layout won't work in Pages?

I have created a custom keyboard layout through the program Ukelele. When I had saved it and selected it as the current keyboard layout, I begin to type and it types as if the keyboard layout were the default US. I changed the font thinking some of the characters must not show up in some of the fonts, nothing; still typing in a default US format. I then went to TextEdit and it worked perfectly fine. It acknowledged the custom keyboard layout I was using. :
My question(s) is(are): How come in TextEdit my custom keyboard layout can work, but in Pages it doesn't? Is there something I need to change for Pages to start using my custom keyboard layout?

Thanks for sending the layout. It installed properly in Home/Library/Keyboard Layouts and I was able to select its (generic) icon in the "flag" menu at the top right of the screen, and it worked fine in Pages 4 and Pages 5.
