How to change value of dt while recordign data

i only recently started using signal express...
i want to be able to change the sampling rate so i can specify how many data points should be recorded per second...
i know that chagning the 'sampling rate' in the 'step setup ------>configuration' window should do what i want...
however, after havng recorded adn transferred the data to an excel sheet... the dt is always equal to 620u...
somehow, changing the 'sampling rate' has no effect on the final set of data recorded on the excel sheet

I have got a similar question:
I am using SignalExpress for logging data from a fermentation.
So I do not need high sampling rates. It is enough when SE saves every 2 minutes a sample.
But my questions is: Is it possible to set different sampling rates for loging in the protocol on one hand and for displaying the data on the other hand?

How to change value of ${eol} from \n to \r\n, while writing file through File Adapter.
As my file is being created in Linux environment, so for new line separater, \n is used. I mounted this file directory to windows System.
As Windows requires \r\n for new line seperator. So I need to change value of ${eol} in the Schema created for file writing.
Can any one provide help regarding this.

When an XML payload is written to a file \n would be used as the default line separator regardless of if its windows or linux, as per the XML specification http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml/#sec-line-ends.
As such, one need not worry about the line separators because, the XML file would eventually be processed by a parser which usually would be able to understand both line endings (as they are whitespace characters as far as the parser is concerned).
If you want to convert the line terminators (for readability etc), 10.1.3.4 has a new feature - in the XML schema definition for the file adapter payload, add these two top level directives to the schema element:
xmlns:nxsd="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/nxsd"
nxsd:normalizeLineTerminators="false"

How can I join 3 tables while extracting data from SAP R/3?

I have 3 tables with the following columns
Emp table (emp)
emp_id
emp_name
emp_add
Dept table (dept)
dept_id
dept_name
dept_loc
Location table (loc)
loc_id
loc_name
Now. If I want to select data from loc_id = 10 and emp_id between 2000 and 3000
How to join these three tables while extracting data from R/3
join condition
loc.loc_id = dept.loc_id
and dept.dept_id = emp.dept_id
and loc.loc_id =10
and emp.emp_id between 2000 and 3000.
Could any one let me know the procedure to extract this data into BW system.

shouldn't your join condition be:
loc.loc_id = dept.DEPT_LOC
and dept.dept_id = ??
If you can join the three tables then create a generic datasource (RSO) based on a view (create your view with your join in SE11).
Enable the loc_id and the emp_id as selectable in the datasource so you can then select the values from a BW IPack.

Here I am executing BAPI by passing -

Valid To = 02/25/2011; Bucket Util Rate = 100.000; Qty/Rate definition = 8000 ]
Now, while I execute /SAPAPO/RES01 to display Capacity for that resource-Location-PlanningVersion, Its showing that 'Bucket Capacity' and 'SNP Bucket Capacity' get changed into 5000. But this change happend for all the days and not only for the duration I passed into Bapi (From BEGDA to ENDDA).
How to change bucket capacity for a certain date range (duration)? Any help please.

I did it myself. Hence closing the thread.
Solution:
1. Get RESUID from /SAPAPO/RESKEY table by passing Resource as NAME.
2. Call Function Module /SAPAPO/CRES_QUANPROF_UPDATE
3. Call Function Module /SAPAPO/CRES_SAVE_FROM_BT
For further help, change manually a single record in the 'capacity profile' in TXN /SAPAPO/RES01 and debug both the FM mentioned above.

I have a retail business: I have a fixed material group hierachy in R3 Retail ,Now I will extract the material group hierachy ,my goal is that the specified material group hierachy node as dimension in query ,not show hierachy level,So I need change specified material group hierachy node to material group's attribute.

If I understand your requirement correctly, you need to have a specific Material Group Hierarchy level (Say Level 2) to be an attribute of Material Group. Usually, this level represents a Brand or Segment, or something with specific meaning.
If this is correct, here are the things you need to do:
1) Create an InfoOnject for this specific attribute representing the specified hierarchy level
2) Add this InfoObject to Material Group as an navigational attribute
3) Select this navigational attribute in your InfoProvider
4) Create a transformation routine for this navigational attribute in Material Group Transformation so that the specified hierarchy level for Material Group will be found and populated. The detail of this routine will depend on your specific requirement. Also, you have to make sure Material Group Hierarchy is updated before Material Group attributes are loaded. If you are not family with ABAP, please ask an ABAPer to help you for the Transformation Routine.
5) Include this navigational attribute in your query along with other required InfoObjects.

As we can change value at run time using debug mode of Eclipse. I want to do this by using a standalone prgram from where I can change the value of a variable at runtime.
Suppose I have a class, say employee like -

i want to change the value of instance variable "name" and local variable "salary" from a stand alone program?
My standalone program will not use employee class; i mean not creating any instance or extending it. This is being used by any other calss in project.

This is the tutorial You should interest in. According to 'name' field of the class, it's value can be change with reflection. I'm not sure if local variable ('salary') can be changed - rather not.

There a config area, where you can define default PO doc types for a particular Pr doc type. If you maintain the settings properly there, then your requirement can be fulfilled.
SPRO->IMG->MM->Purchasing->Purchase requisation->Define doc types.

In Future
While posting the documents you can mention the value date as due date of the documents.
For already posted documents
You can change the value date to net due date.
If the value date is display mode i.e. if you are not able to change the value date in FB02 (Document Change Mode), use OB32 transaction and make value date field as eidtable (BSEG-VALUT).
In OB32 transaction enter all the required fields like Account type, transaction type, company code and finally activate the Field can be changed check box.
But not sure, whether we can change the value date to previous date or not?

Note: I cant use cell editor, because there are no stuctres in the query definition.

Probably i was not clear in my question.
for example characterstic ZPL contations Keys P and A with respectve texts PL and AC.
but in the 10th query they dont want to see the text as PL but as PLAN. in the remaing queries they want to see the text as PL.
I know we can do it using table interface in WAD-Table web item.
If there any we can do this requirement in Bex designer?

User Exit: AFAR0002. How to change value in field: ANLC - NAFAP?

At the moment I am working on custom Depreciation Key for which the depreciation for period (and subperiods) will be recounted and taken into account for depreciation posting.
I try to use exit AFAR0002 for this purpose.
I am able to count and change the value of depreciation for each subperiods. The problem is, that I cannot change the value of "Ordinary depreciation that is planned for the asset in the current fiscal year" for the pierod '000'. Due to this, in the last period of the current fiscal year system tries to reverse the sum of planned depreciation in previous subperiods. It simply tries to meet the "planned depreciation for fiscal year' with the sum of planned depreciation for subperiods.
example:
ANLC-NAFAP = 100.
Active Asset value = 1000
Depreciation for periods:
001     ->     -50
002     ->     -50
003     ->     -50
004     ->     -50
005     ->     -50
006     ->     -50
007     ->     -50
008     ->     -50
009     ->     -50
010     ->     -50
011     ->     -50
*012     ->     450
planned value -> -100
The questions are:
1. is it possible to change value in ANLC-NAFAP in this exit
2. How it sould be done.

I had run AFAR. The report changed to '0' the value of ANLC-NAFAP field - sth changed - thanks.
But I still have a problem to set this value to the sum of planned depreciation for each month. At the moment, in the last period the system tries to reverse all planned "sub"depreciation to '0' in total.
Is it any additional condition that has to be fulfilled in order to change the value of "Ordinary depreciation that is planned for the asset in the current fiscal year" for the pierod '000'?

As per my understanding, the thing is that, in BADI "ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST", there is a method called "CLOSE".
you have to implement this method to close the processing....
work on triggering the method first and if it triggers, then implement the coding and see how it is working....

It may allow you to change the value date. If it is not allow to change the filed then create value date in
Document Change Rules, Document Header.
