How to change video layers in iMovie?

So far I have a main video, but by accident I want a black background to be the first layer how can I switch the layers?

Unfortunately this is not adjustable in iMovie 10.0.3

Put your videos in a folder and sync iPhone with iTunes, "Photos" tabpreviously selected "Sync photos" and checked the box next to "videos include" I understand you do not have Mac, but with a PC can do the same, with this you will reel and your videos can be edited withiMovie on your iPhone.

I probably haven't used iMovie since iLife 04' and am now editing a video using iMovie '08. I'd like to to have a portion of the video I'm editing play at a faster speed... kind of like a time lapse video for a small portion of the project. Is there any way I can do that in iMovie 08'? I was able to speed up/slow down and play in reverse parts of a video in the previous version of iMovie. Are those editing methods not available any more?

When using iChat AV or SKYPE, it is easy to have a MacBook built-in Video camera and a FireWire iSight both attached - and using preferences switch from one to the other (for example to use the iSight to show the entire room).
BUT I would like to be able to switch cameras in programs like "Photo Booth" or even in iChat AV - more easily.
For SOUND, there is a program Sound Source (Rogue Amoeba Software) that lets you change audio input and output via a menu bar icon. NEAT!
Does anyone know of anything similar for VIDEO? I've tried VersionTracker (and will try again) - but appreciate any comments.

How to change Absolute Layers to Relative?

I have set up a Set Text layer. I postioned it in/over a
table cell, however, in the browser it jumps to the left.
After researching the forums it appears I would need to
change the layer to Relative? I can't see how to do this anywhere?
I tried changing the DIV tag to Span and changing the word Absolute
to Relative in the code but it just doesn't work at all!

How to change video format for iPod touch

please can anyone tell me how to convert my .avi files to the format that will play on my iPod touch!
I've managed to convert a couple in iTunes but the rest of the files won't import to iTunes so I can't use that converter!
I've also tried something called MPEG streamclip but that keeps telling me there's an invalid frame rate and won't work!
Any ideas please, the only reason I bought the 32gb was so I could watch my videos!

On a MAC use iSquint to do your conversion. Get it from version tracker. It's free and fantastic. It will also convert flash (.flv) and .mov files.
One thing to remember is that the default is video scaled for the iPod Classic/video which is smaller than the iPoT. So the settings should be "Optimize for iPod" Quality "High" "H.264 Encoding" then select "advanced" enter 480 in the width and whatever pixel height is required to keep the aspect ratio the same as the original .avi movie. e.g.:
496 x 272 = 480 x 264
512 x 208 = 480 x 196
512 x 216 = 480 x 203
512 x 288 = 480 x 271
528 x 288 = 480 x 260

You should be able to recored much longer than that. Try clearing some space, i.e. remove other videos, pictures, movies, large apps, etc.

There aren't any laptops that I know of that can add another graphics card. There are a very few higher end laptops that have removable graphics cards, but for the most part on Toshiba's you can only replace it with the exact same type even if it is removable. I think you are wasting your time and money trying to upgrade the graphics on that model.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

You must do this within iMovie.
In iMovie, click VIEW/GROUP EVENTS BY DISK
This will show all properly formatted external disks (must by HFS+ journalled, not FAT32)
Now you can drag your Events to the disk by dragging and dropping the Event Name to the icon of the disk in the Event Source List in iMovie.
You can also move projects. See iMovie Help for details.
