How to change which folders iTunes watches

How can I change which folders iTunes watches, or adds to it's library? I see no way to change it besides re-installing iTunes because it asks you to choose folders during installation. Right now iTunes is watching both my Music folder and my back up drive's Music folder so I have duplicates of everything.

iTunes doesn't watch your folders in the same way that Windows Media Player does. On the initial install you get one opportunity to scan the Music folder or the whole computer. My guess is that you chose the latter. After that there is a folder called *Automatically add to iTunes.* Drop any media into that and it does what it says on the tin, but iTunes studiously ignores the rest.
If you want a tool that can scan your media folders for files that aren't in iTunes try iTunes Folder Watch or iTunes Library Updater. It's a long time since I've played with it, but IIRC iTLU has a cleaning mode called Synchroclean that could be used to clean out entries connected to your backup folder by not including the backup folder in the list of music locations it works with.

You can log out of the currently logged in account by tapping on it Settings > Store, and then log in with the account that you want to use. Any content that was downloaded via the currently logged in account will remain tied to that account, so only that can re-download it or download updates to its apps.

Look at the code in the form tag on your contact page
If you find something like
<form method="post" action="mailto:[email protected]" enctype="text/plain">
Just change the recipient email address
More likely you will find the action section showing something like
action="formmailer.php"
This means your form data is being processed by a script on the server named "formmailer.php"
Download that file and edit the recipient email address, save and upload to the server

How to display which folders a photo has been assigned to

If you select a photo in an Event and want to know which folders you've previously added that photo to, can you tell? I've looked at the iPhoto shortcuts page and don't see anything there. In Address Book, if you want to know which Groups a contact has been assigned to, you highlight the Contact and press Command-Option. But that doesn't work in iPhoto.

This sure would be a handy feature! iTunes has it so that you can easily tell which playlists a song is in. It would be convenient for iPhoto as well.

How to maintain a Mac
1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; make them independent of each other. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine.
2. Keep your software up to date. In the Software Update preference pane, you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis. This is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible.
3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” “extenders,” “cleaners,” “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this kind of material is useless, or worse than useless.
The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
The only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it.
The free anti-malware application ClamXav is not crap, and although it’s not routinely needed, it may be useful in some environments, such as a mixed Mac-Windows enterprise network.
4. Beware of trojans. A trojan is malicious software (“malware”) that the user is duped into installing voluntarily. Such attacks were rare on the Mac platform until recently, but are now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be acquired directly from the developer. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from a web page without your having requested it should go straight into the Trash. A website that claims you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, is rogue.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most users don't.
5. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” “rebuilding the directory,” “running periodic scripts,” “deleting log files,” “scanning for viruses,” or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are for solving problems as they arise, not for maintenance.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

Only one computer of the three on my home network can receive any scan from this wireless printer. It was the first one set up to do that.
That computer is now away at school. How can I change the computer on the network that will receive the scan?
I have tried to change the printer from the printer's Set up on the printer's face, but it only shows the one computer and I can't figure out how to change it to another printer.

I see you are looking into connection options. Due to the age of the printer, there is not software to connect to Windows 7. You do have the option to connect with a USB via the Windows basic print driver. You can find more information here:

How to change fonts in iTunes for Windows?

Typeface in bold type is difficult to read and I want to change it. I looked everywhere online and could not find a simple solution, but then found one myself which seems to work. I have iTunes 10 and Windows Vista.
For some reason there's a conflict or problem with the Helvetica fonts.
Go to the folder C:windows/fonts. Wait for full font list to load, then sort in alphabetical order. Minimise that window, then open another Windows folder and navigate to a folder where you know you won't accidentally delete a folder. (I have a folder named "Keep" that I never move or delete to store important stuff). Create a new folder in that folder (organise>new folder) and name it Helvetica fonts.
Restore the Fonts window you minimised, then locate all Helvetica fonts you have (they should all be together if you sorted alphabetically). Select all Helvetica fonts and click and drag across to the Helvetica fonts file. You may be asked to confirm permission to do this. Confirm that all Helvetica fonts are in the new folder then close that window.
Return to the Fonts window and delete the selected Helvetica fonts. You will be asked for permission and get several pop up windows checking you really want to do this. **For some reason I was not able to delete Helvetica bold but the fix still worked.
When all Helvetica fonts are deleted (except for ** above if you had that problem too), then go to File>Install New Font at the top of the Fonts folder window. Navigate using the drop down box to find the folder where you saved the Helvetica fonts. The Helvetica fonts should all list in the right hand pane of the dialog box. IMPORTANT: at the bottom of the dialog box is a check box "Copy Fonts to Fonts Folder" - make sure this is NOT checked. You do not want the fonts reinstalled in the Fonts folder. Click Select All, the Install. All fonts should install, but their actual files remain in the new folder you created. As long as you don't delete this new folder the Helvetica fonts will be available to all programs which need them - but for some reason iTunes will now select a different font to display in iTunes.
And if it doesn't work the way you want, simply re-open Windows/Fonts, then repeat the installation instructions above but this time make sure the check box "copy fonts to font folder" IS checked and all will be restored.

plug it in MacBookPro and sync it? I did try that and it does sync, but if I want to sync App's (with MBP) it will warned me that content of iphone will be replaced, and only thing I am concerned are the apps and all the data that has been saved with it.

How to change Logfiles folders

I want to change the all log files folders to some other drive, currently all log files are storing in
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Logging\
Because, mdas.log file also creating here, and finally the size of c drive reaching maximum and syatem getting hang. then i am going there and manually cleaning the old log files.
So please tell me where do i need to change these setting to redirect the logfiles to other folder.

Go to REGEDIT -> HKEY LOCAL MACHINE -> Software -> Business Objects -> Suite 11.5 (Suite 12.0) -> Logging
on the right panel change the 'loggingPath'. This will change the log folder location.
This is applicable to both XI R2 & 3.1.

How to change which client is used by 6i report builder?

I know, I know, 6i reports in this day and age??? Still, we have a large contingent of reports that will have to be changed to 10 ASAP. In the meantime, our db was upgraded, and most reports work fine, but I have an error where I cannot even compile one of them due to an apparent problem with using the 8i client connection to a 10g database using a dblink to another 10g database to get a value from a table. Report builder just hangs when I either open the report while already connected to the db, or when I open the report, then connect to db and try to compile the trigger with the offending statement.
My dba says, "Just tell Reports to use the 10g client that you have installed in the other oracle home on your desktop." My response,... "How do I do that?"
So, anybody know how to do that if it is possible?

Reports will use its own Oracle HOME for any connections and info .....
Open a report in Oracle reports 10g it should compile normally
In Oracle Installer u can set the Default Oracle HOME also as ur DBA suggested...
