How to change width columns in web layout?

hello,
I have problem with change width columns in web. I can change width column in paper layout and is ok but If I run web layout I get one column very wide and second thin. I cant find where I may this change
I find that is no easy. If you want change property in web layout you must edit JSP file, and you must know Java/JSP/HTML, and library reposrts JSP custom tag and reports xhtml tags.

How to adjust width into BPS web Layout

Hi gurus,
I´m working with BPS web Interface. I have a tabstrip control subcomponent composed by 3 differents layouts and the web interface is composed by differents tabstrip.All of this layouts represents the same information but restricted to differents characteristic value. I need to align the data of those layouts, I mean the first column of the first layout should have the same width as the first column of the second layout etc.
The idea is adjust the width of the columns of each layout in this tabstrip control. How can I do that? Is possible do that with CSS Styles? If it is possible How can I do that?

Try this may be useful for you..
In the Web interface when you double click the layout , you can see the window at the bottom saying your component name ,planning area etc..at the bottom most you can see the Width and height , there you can increase or decrease .
before that make excel web component as 'True', then only you can increase or decrease ..

How to change the lengths of the layout

Hi ,
I am executing one report, output is coming fine but next if i go to print preview for PO number only 9 digits are appearing one digit is missing, actually column is trucated, there in print preview there is one tab called Change Layout, there if i see length of the PO no is 9, so its showing only 9 digits, actually length of the PO no should be 10.in change layout the length is editable i can change from 9 to 10, after that there is a button called copy, then it will show correctly, it works only one time, so each and every time user has to change the length, so can any one suggest how to change that length in the layout permanently, bcos there is no save button there.
Can any one tell me from where all these lengths are coming which are appearing in change layout.Surely its not coming from the report.

That depends upon the space provided by the ALV column for that variable or the heading size its not based on the data element size.
If you want to be more clear lust count the space available for each field available at the print preview.
The details for that are stored in table T180S just see the documentation available for that table.
And see when the table is getting filled like that so that you will be able to find a solution where and how it is getting populated.
Use column width optimization for getting the correct output.

How to change number format in web reports

Hi, Experts,
    Simple question, if I want to change the number format on web report as following
. . . . . . . . Actual
. . . . . . . . *1000SGD
new order   .   341.5
sales       .   567.45
if I click "Actual" then select properties, set data format from "in 1000" & "0" to "in 1" & "0.00", nothing changed in web report after refresh.
if i click one number (for example: 341.5) or "New order" to set data format from "in 1000" & "0" to "in 1" & "0.00", only this row's format is changed, others row still keep old format.
how to change whole column's data format at once setting?

Hi,
Logout and login may help you and also Delete the session in SM04 before re login. Some times system will not do complete refresh of data even though you select refresh button.

The easiest way is to use the Microsoft OWC (office Web component) and you can have Excel on the web where you have to publish the layouts for the web.
If not, and you use pure web, Olaf Fisher's paper might be published as a how to guide by now. I would suggest a search on SDN. I have downloaded the file a long time ago but I think it is on the server in the office.

In the SMART Forms, you would have created a Table object and specified the line width and divided that into no. of columns that you want, you have to mandatorily specify the width of each column so that total of column width will be equal to that of the line width.
When you double click on the Table object, you can TABLE tab on the right side. If you can't see the line / columns details, click on the DETAILS button.

if it is normal report .then
go through the write statents . one of that is below
Loop at itab .
write : itab .
endloop.
if it is ALV then you have to define an internal table which are the fieldds you want palce in the Row .
so that
data c type i value    '1'.
loop at itab .
fieldcatalog-fieldname   = itab-field.
fieldcatalog-col_pos     = c.
append fieldcatalog to fieldcatalog.
clear fieldcatalog
c = c + 1.
endloop.
so that the Col_pos will be increased and the Column data will be moved into Row .

the columns names are normal text fields. Just selecdt to edit your report , go to the editor panel and select the column header you want to modify. You can enter the text you want to display

I changed the color and font weight in af:column properties, but its effecting the data in that column but not with the column Header Text property.(i have given column name in header text).

Add the following CSS Code to the custom skin css file that is to be created as per the suggestions above.
*af|column::column-header-cell{*
color:Blue;
font-weight:bold;
This would ensure that all the table column headers are blue in color and bolder font style through-out the application.

How to change the columns in more than one playlist

I am trying to change the columns in my playlists for all of my audio books. I have over thirty books on my computer with a play list for every cd adding up to over 500 playlists inside of folders for each book. I want to change all of the play lists to have audiobook related columns only. I was wondering if there is any shortcuts besides going into every folder and every playlist and manually changing them all.
What I already know: Changing the view options of a folder containing a playlist or other folder doesn't change the view options of all containing folders and playlists.
Doug's Applescript "Assimilate view options" is for changing all of my playlists to match the view options as the library and I cannot change the library because I have over 1500 album playlists.
If anyone could tell me how to change that I would really appreciate the help

There is no need to delete/inactive those entres.
It is the funtionality provided by SAP to store the short texts for catalog in multiple languages.
If you go to QS42 transaction with another language key selected during login. You can find another language short text.

     there is an employee database with the field names empno(1),empname(2), empphone(3), empaddress(4), empsal(5). the values in the brackets are the column order i.e., the order in which the column names are placed.
     I have the details of the employee records in a .txt file and i have to upload the file with the same column order with some delimiter. I done it but in future if any one have the details of the employee details with some other column order i.e., empaddress(1), empsal(5), empno(3), empname(4), empphone(5)

Can't Freeze Row/column in Web layout in Integrated planning

Hi Guys
we have 50 columns in planning query. Web layout screen can't present all these column in one screen . While scrolling for viewing rest of the columns the initial column(Description) disappears i.e scrolled out and hence it is very difficult to corelate which Key Figutre value (Value) represent which Object(InfoObject).
We need a way around of freezing of columns functionality which is available in BPS but not in BI IP.

How to add DFF columns in custom layouts?

Hi,
I need to create a new Layout for Asset Additions to include DFF (DFF: Asset Category) columns in the layout.
When I tried to create a new layout, I could not find the DFF columns in the list.
Could any one suggest me, how to enable these DFF columns in the 'Define Layout' column list?

Hi Harish,
Asset Category is a Key Flexfield, not a DFF. DFFs are identified by columns ATTRIBUTE1, ATTRIBUTE2, ..., whereas key flex fields are internally stored in another table (here FA_CATEGORIES).
To be able to give you a complete answer: Is your Integrator the standard or a completely custom made?
