How to check if the Oracle e-business suite upgraded from 11 to 12 ?

Could you please advise how we can check if the Oracle e-business suite application upgraded from 11 to 12 ?

It is needed as some steps will be applied if it is upgraded from 11 to 12..
here is the output :

Install upgrade / EBS Patch

1. Setup hardware.
2. Install and setup OS.
Install R12.1.1
3. Install R12.1.1 (run Rapid Wiz)
Post –Install R12.1.
4. Upgrade Opatch in 10.1. home
5. Upgrade /patch OAS 10.1.2.3 (inc in R12.1.1)
6. Redeploye forms.ear
Pre-install R12.1.3
7. Upgrade OPatch in database home
8. Upgrade OPatch Database in 11.1.0.7
9. Upgrade OPatch in 10.1.3 Home
10. Upgrade /Patch OAS 10.1.3.4 to .5
11. Upgrade Java to 1.6_0_17 or lower
Install R12.1.3
12. Apply EBS R12.1.3 maintenance pack

I want implement Single Sign-On support for the Oracle E-Business suite.
Operationg System : linux/Solaris
Oracle E-Business suite : 11.5.10
Oracle Application Server : 10gAS(latest availble)
Type of integration : SSO and OID with 11i
No third party SSO or LDAP
Qusetions
1.If my SSO Server is down can i login to applications(11i) using normal mode(default login http://servername.xxxx.com:8000/).
2. Is it possible to have appilications (11i) in Linux/Solaris and 10gAS in windows.
Please answer...

You couldn't login into server But You can use the following login
http://servername.xxxx.com:8000/AppsLocalLogin.jsp
For this you need to enable the Appslocallogin Profile option

Oracle E-Business Suit 11 is installed on IBM AIX 5L.
Now I want to install RAC for it.
So is there any way we can convert existing database to database with RAC ?
I know how to convert it for Oracle 9i database, But for E-Business suit is it something different or same ?

How to put an image infront of a link as in the Oracle E-Business Suite

I have noticed that when the main page opens in the EBS after login, the links that we see has a small square icon infront of it.
Can anyone let me know whats the name of this image and how to put it infront of the links on my main page.

I have just found out that in the E-business suite, when you click a link with the icon as fwkhp_formsfunc.gif then it opens up Oracle Forms based interfaces, whereas when you click on a link with fwkhp_sswafunc.gif as an icon, then OAF based pages opens up.
Just thought of sharing with you.

Oracle E-Business Suite access from the Host machine

Hellow,
Please, after installing E-Business Suite and going through Post-configuration details, I would like to get access of my applications portal from the host system.
I have tried several ways of doing that and would not know the steps to follow in order to access the portal directly from the physical host machine.
I took the normal steps as when configuring end users and can ping the virtual machine from the Host system but can't do the same form the virtual machine of the host machine.
I can ping another server and other machines int he same network but not the one on which the virtual machine is installed.

I am confused first clear what is hostmachine and what is virtual machine.....
call the machine which will access the application on virtual machine as CLIENT
call the machine which is hosting the virtual machine a VIRTUAL MACHINE HOST
call virtual machine as VIRTUAL MACHINE
You mean I should change my host IP? It has so many applications using that localhost name.Is ther any setting done in the network and have you ever accessed an application installed on Virtual machine from the host machine?>
changing of ip doesnt have any impact if ur applications are using hostname..if they are using ip then there is a issue,Yes i have acces EBIZ installed on virtula machine many times.
And if ur working in a organization then ask ur network admins to check whats the issue..may be some were firewall issue also ..thats why i asked u to chnage ip.

My current database is running on 32-bit. Target Database is planing to use the 64-bit
Will my application support.......
By keeping the application tier on 32-bit as it is and Upgrading the Database to a 64-bit 11gr2

How to Display Data from Oracle E Business Suite tables in ADF

Hi,
I am new to ADF.
I have a requirement to Create an ADF page for Search Results Screen.
However the result data is from one of the Oracle E Business Suite Tables.
ie I need to create a Screen where user will enter a Purchase Order Number and Click on Button.
The Screen should show details from PO_HEADERS_ALL (from Oracle ERP Database Table) based on the entered PO Number.
Is it possible to implement the same? Can some one guide me how to do it?

I think if you are on 12.0.6 you do not need to have those patches applied -- Please query AD_BUGS table to verify if you already have those patches applied or not.
If you cannot download those patches and you still think you need it, please log a SR and Oracle support should help.

Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On

We followed this note 1484024.1 to integrate Oracle EBS 12.1.3 with Oracle Access manager 11g R2.
Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle Access Manager 11gR2 (11.1.2) using Oracle E-Business Suite Access Gate [ID 1484024.1]
All the steps have been complete successfully without any errors.
When the excisistign users trying to login.. they will get the single single OAM page but not able to use their current user id and passwords..
it says: "Your Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On account that you just entered. Please enter your Oracle E-Business Suite information. The next time you sign on with your Single Sign-On account, it will automatically sign you on to the Oracle E-Business Suite using the following account information. "
