How to check nokia 500 if theres a virus?
i have a problem in my nokia 500 belle it always hang and it is very slow, this is 1 Ghz phone and supposed to be fast,i think theres a virus but how can i check it? pleas help me
Its unlikely that your Phone is infected with virus but if you still want to scan.. have a look here .. or search for Anti-Virus for more applications...

The Server is M5000.and the storage is EMC Stroage Array，I don't know the EMC Model type too。
In some case （different machine such as V880），when we use a command “iostat -En”，it would show that there are some hard errors。
but when we reboot the system，use "iostat -En" again 。the hard errors would be 0.
But ，This Machine （M5000），it is running the very important application and i can't reboot it。
Do you need a explorer data to analysis。

Iphone5 - suspect a virus, how to check to see if there is one or not
I only send/receive mail from iphone. Today I was getting notes saying my email was sending funky links to them and some were stopped by their virus protection. How can I scan my phone for viruses. Used to think Apple products were immune but appears it's not true. Went to App Store and there are many apps, but just don't want to guess a which one Is a valid one. Thanks

Thanks for the reference, though I was asking the other poster. The link you gave does not indicate that any apps in the iOS App Store are infected with any viruses, though (thankfully!).

Like in subject, I'm new user of Symbian Anna on Nokia 500. There was no problem to set WLAN connection to my router. The problem is to disconnect. After I turning off WLAN connection, and use option to not looking for networks, device shows what is expected but after few seconds starts trying to get connection again. This have to be repeated several times to receive disconnection state. The problem is replicable. WLAN setting is set to connection manually.
I hope I am clear enough.

Go to Solution.Hello faraon, are you using the email client in your phone check that because it connects automatically and make sure that you do not have any homescreen widgets that need connection to the internet. Check this by tapping options in the homescreen.

It's helpful to get some contents via FM:CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ_POSITIONS, the problem is, to some kind of DELETION operation, the log in table CDPOS is very simple, I still don't know which contents were deleted even though I found records in table CDPOS.

Hi, I live in Toronto and just bought a Nokia 500 GPS. I must say that the device is quite good. my N72 is connected and working fine, FM transmitter is good, Navigation is good except I am struggling with TTS.
Though I selected English US language and Female Voice (TTS) but it does not work. GPS goes silent. I feel that the XML file i have got on the DVD is wrong. Can someone send me the Female Voice (TTS) XML file to compare mine.

PJOvi Suite or Map Loader doesn't work with Nokia 500 GPS, there no map updates for this device at the moment. The only map that is available is the one that came on DVD in the box.

Is there a virus connected to a flash player update?
two weeks ago I downloaded an update to flash player. after that i started getting the blue screen of death and it would shut off IE. I took it too a repair shop and they said I needed a new hard drive. I had one installed and all my files copied over. Got it home and started getting the blue screen of death again. Ran Norton and another virus check and it said there were virus if a few programs and finally it locked up the computer. Last week i had my desk top and i also updated the flash player and with in 20 minutes after got the blue screen of death on it. I ran my Mirco Tred Titamium anti virus and it locked up the screen, would not let me uninstall it or any thing. so needless to say both are in the shop getting their memorys erased so I can start over. Is there a virus sneaking in with the flash player that the anti virus programs are not catching??
Norton is a nasty business; I have experienced this myself a few years ago. If you try to start your computer with their expired software, they will crash it HARD!

Nokia E71 - where are maps stored? How to check/ch...
Apologies if my Q is trivial but this seems more difficult than Windows...
Ok, so I downloaded the newest version of Maps (ver. 3.03 I think), it installed on my Nokia 71. Now I go to Nokia OVI on my laptop with phone connected via USB, select "maps", "download", select the map, it shows "preparing...", then "downloading..." then "transferring..." (I guess to my phone). I go to my phone, Menu, GPS, Maps - and where is the map??? It only shows "My Position", "Find Places", "Favourites", "Drive" and "Walk". How do I select the map I just downloaded? Where do I find it?You've done everything correctly so far updating to most recent version of OVI Maps with free voice navigation for your E71, download regional map but did you also download your chosen "Voice file" for navigation?
A quick way of checking if mapping is there is to open OVI Maps application on device and zoom in to your approximate location when street detail should be visible.
If you expect to see "country map" on memory card it isn't like that, as map tiles are stored in folders 0 - 9 and a - f with similar sub-folders in E:\CITIES\diskcache

I am trying to backup my Itunes onto my external hard drive. I am at the step where I on Itunes, click on File ->Library ->Organize library. I am suppose to check mark both boxes there, the first being "Consolidate Files" & the second being "Reorganize files in the folder 'Itunes Media'. I am able to checkmark the first box but It won't allow me to check mark the second box, why? How can i fix this? Please help!
Well you must have made a mistake somewhere. The last instruction of step four reads:
When you've found your iTunes library folder, drag that folder to your external hard drive. This will begin the iTunes backup. The amount of time the backup will take depends on the size of your library. When the transfer is done, your backup is complete and your external hard drive can be disconnected.
Normally dragging content from to a new location on a different drive will result in a copy action which is what you were supposed to do. At a guess you somehow managed to move the iTunes folder. Then when you started iTunes it created a new blank library for you assuming it had just been installed rather that raising a warning.
Close iTunes. Rename the iTunes folder on the internal drive as iTunes (Empty) then copy the iTunes folder from the external back into the User's Music folder. Start iTunes. All should be well.
When you've made sure it all works please read my User Tip and use that method to backup in future. Since you already have a folder with the backup in place you can skip the "Make New" operation in the fourth step and simply choose the external folder.
