How to check sent email messages?

Hi all.
I set up my imap account on the phone and it works great.
Only problem is, how do I check my sent messages?
I thought it might be in the 'Mailboxes' area, but the only thing there is inbox..
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

What type of IMAP account is it? Is it a personal account? Or .Mac account?
I know on my personal IMAP account, I could only view the Inbox as well and the issue had something to do with my SENT folder being outside of my Inbox folder tree. Upon dragging the SENT folder inside of the overall IMAP directory folder tree it showed up on my iPhone.
This is obviously just an example of one scenario but something worth trying.

I am sending emails to clients. I would like to be able to add a link to my comments section and be able to see the email I sent to the client from excel. Is that possible?

    Tanzim Wrote in his post:
    Cause of the issue
Gmail webmail accounts do not have separate sent items and inbox folders. The Gmail account web page contains a Sent Mail link on the left side, but this is not a separate folder from the inbox. Gmail webmail messages are grouped into conversations, resulting in all sent messages and replies from others appearing as a single email message entry in the inbox. This allows for easy reading and viewing on the Gmail web page, but, when integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service account, results in copies of sent email messages arriving on the BlackBerry smartphone as new email messages.
    Resolution
To prevent sent messages from returning to the BlackBerry smartphone each time, create a filter in the BlackBerry Internet Service account to block the sending of those messages to the BlackBerry smartphone.
To create a filter, perform the following:
Log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service account. For instructions on how to log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service account, see KB03781.
Click the Filters icon next to the integrated Gmail account.
Click Add a Filter to create a new filter.
Configure the filter so that email messages are not sent to the BlackBerry smartphone if the email message originates from the Gmail webmail account integration:
Type a name for the filter into the Filter Name field. For example, My sent Gmail email messages.
Set the Apply filter when field to "FROM" field.
Type the Gmail webmail address into the Contains field. For example, <user name>@gmail.com>.
Select the radio button beside Do not forward messages to device.
    Click Add Filter.
Note: After creating this filter, email messages will not be received on the BlackBerry smartphone if sent from the Gmail webmail account.

  • Sent email messages

I need help figuring out how to view my sent email messages, either new or replies.  Can anyone help?
    Thanks

When you have your email app lauched, touch the Menu sensor (the area just to the left of the Home touch sensor. You'll see a selection for Folders. Touch it and then you can select your Sent Message folder.
Another thing you may want to periodically do is go into the Trash folder and touch the Menu touch sensor and Delete All items in the trash. This takes a while if there are alot of items in the trash and there is no indication the phone is deleting them but just be patient and the screen will return back to an empty trash folder after a while.

How do I delete email messages so that they stop "bouncing" back and forth between my Macbook, ipad, and iphone?

    Hi ST,
The first screen shot is the left (main) screen after I moved CS6 to the right screen (second screen shot). As you can see the CS6 panels are in front of MS Word. If I click in the Word document they go behind Word. If I switch over to on the right screen the panels reappear but in front of Word again. So I either have to switch back and forth between the two screens if I want to work in CS6 or manually movee the panels over to the Right Screen. It is rather awkward to have to do that. Make sense?

  • HT3529 How do I sent text messages to me as an email?  I have tried this by chosing Edit, then putting a check mark next to the text to send, entered my email and it goes back to the phone as a text msg, never comes to my email in box?

I have tried to send a text that I received to my email address by hitting, Edit then placing a check mark next to the text to send, entered my email address and hit the send icon.  Three times, the email has come to me as a text and never appears in my email inbox.   Help please!

    I think you're asking this:
You received a text message.  Now you would like to copy the text message's information and receive it as an email.
You would do that by copying the text message to your clipboard (hold down the text bubble and select "Copy"), creating an email message, and pasting that text into the body of the email message and sending it.

  • How to export sent email from n8?

    Hi,
I'm using the standard email application on my N8 (no Anna yet) with a POP3&SMTP account. I need to export the messages I sent with my N8. They are stored in two "sent" folders
I need to import these messages into the email software on my computer or an email account on a server.
How is that done? I could not find any export tool in the Nokia Suite, the PC Suite or N8 itself. There is a "Best MessageStore" app in the Store, but it only creates plaintext or CSV files, which I can't import anywhere.
I could use an IMAP folder, but I could not find a way to change the current setup from POP3/SMTP to IMAP. I can create a new account with new folders on the phone, but then I don't know how to copy the old email messages into that new IMAP folder.
Furthermore, I tried importing the email messages to a Nokia N9, but the import routine seems to ignore email messages.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you!

Belle is the first version that lets you move items out of the Sent folder into other folders.
The Suite will take a backup of your message store before upgrading to Belle and restore it afterwards. You could then move items in the Sent into other IMAP folders.
You also might find NbuExplorer on Sourceforge.net useful, it allows you to look inside the backup files taken by Nokia Suite. You could backup the message store and examine it without needing to upgrade to Belle if you're not upgrading for a reason.
Your messages are stored in C:\Private\1000484b but you don't have permission to view them yourself with the File Manager unless you've jailbroken first.

  • Is there a way to change how Thunderbird checks multiple email accounts from several at once to checking them one at a time?

There is one problem I've had that I've never seen anyone else have! I live in an area of the Philippines with very poor performing Internet service. Things are slow but, it's enough if you have patience. My freelance work requires that I have multiple email accounts. Thunderbird handles this well except when initially checking emails. Because it checks email accounts all at once, I usually get timeouts and then have to resort to checking them manually, one at a time. So, I'm wondering if the way Thunderbird checks accounts can be changed to one at a time, especially at startup? Thanks!

Don't know any 'automatic' way - but, i have "Fetch Headers only" set on each of my 'secondary accounts'.
With varying internet service, manual "Get Messages" is probably the "Best Practice" because you will know how good your service is before you even try.
maybe set "Check for new messages every 'n' minutes" to different times
(3 minutes, 6 minutes, etc.) on each 'secondary' account.

  • Sent Email Messages and the Z10

I just got a Z10 and have set up my personal yahoo account and work OUtlook active sync account.
When I send an emaill from my computer, the sent email shows up on the Z10.  Then if I delete it on the Z10, it deletes it from the yahoo and outlook account sent folders.
Is there any way to not have sent email from the computer go to the Z10?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello,
Nope...BB10 no longer uses BIS, so how things used to function is no longer relevant. Rather, via BB10, the device and your server are intended to be near-replicas of each other (within the max 30 day time window). So what you do on one affects the other. You can, on the device, still "Hide Sent Items" (as existed pre-BB10), so at least you won't see them in the device Messages List.
We are all hoping that future OS releases will provide some of the functions and features we all became so reliant on in the past. But for now, it is what it is.
    Good luck!
