Is there a way to determine how many downloads have occurred on a professional account? We have multiple apps on the Apple and Android app stores and would like to know how many downloads from our first 5,000 have been used. Is there a way to view analytics from all of our apps at one time instead of having to log in to digitalpublishing.acrobat.com separately for each app?

How to check the number of connections to MySQL DB

Is there some way to check the number of applications connected to a mysql database?
I have two different Java applications that will be using the same instance of MySQL.
My requirement is that, I want to close the MySQL instance while closing the Java application.
But before doing so, I want to make sure the other application is not connected to it.
Is there some way I can achieve this?

Thanks for your response.
"Show processes" definitely serves my need.
Basically what I am trying to do is to check if there are any other open connections to a MySQL instance before closing it.
In our application suite, if there is a MySQL instance running, then the applications connect to it by default which results in some undesirable behavior sometimes.
Hence, we are making sure that we close the MySql instance before exiting the application.

How to check the status of file downloading?

I have to download the selected file by using "file download" dialogue box.
This "File Download" dialogue box provides options for "Open", "Save", "Cancel" or "More Info". It is similar to usual "File Downloading".
And i am required to do further processing only if , file is "Open" or "Save".
So how can i check the status of the option selected by the user?

Your requirements are a bit vague - the only place to accurately determine the number of connections is in Oracle using the V$SESSION virtual view.
It can tell you the number of session (active or idle) made from the platform running that Java code. It can also tell you basic session information like the current SQL (if active) that is being executed.
There are numerous other V$ views that can be used in conjunction to build a very accurate picture of what the session is doing and what resources it is using.

How to check the DHCP lease remaining time

I am troubleshooting a connectivity issue on my Macbook pro which APPARENTLY ignores the DHCP ACK messages sent in reply to Unicast DHCP Requests (the ones sent when T1 timer expires at 50% of the lease time) from a particular DHCP server.
Do you happen to know the command which shows the current remaining lease time for the assigned DHCP IP address? I need that to confirm my assumptiom.
By checking in the /leases folder you may only see the original lease Start date, which is the time the initial DHCP DORA process took place. When the 'refresh' DHCP requests are sent after 50% of the lease, and consequently the DHCP ACKs from the server are received the value in that file does not change. That means that this command is not good to check what I need.
I.e.:

Even when a subsequent DHCP ACK message is received that value remains unchanged.

apparently I am not getting lucky by putting the question this way.. let me try another approach giving more background details.
PROBLEM:
When I am in a particular location my mac get disconnected from the network every 30 minutes when my DHCP IP address expires. The DHCP server grants 30 minutes IP leases only.
I took some capture (I sniffed DHCP transactions) and I could see that when 50% of the lease time is reached (T1) my mac sends a new unicast DHCP request to the DHCP server which replies immediately with a DHCP ACK confirming 30 more minutes.
Unfortunately I did not find any command to see if the lease gets actually extended.
What I see is that after few minutes (matching the 87.5% T2 timer) my match fires a new DHCP request, which is also answered immediately with a ACK. Then in the last minutes before the 30 minutes threshold I see many other requests which are also all answered. Nevertheless when the origianal 30 minutes lease expires my MAC releases the IP and start a new Discovery process (sending a bcast request). After few seconds the DORA process completes and usually the mac gets the same IP address. The issue for me is that in the meantime my VPN session to my corporate network goes down and all the services associated with that go down too (softphone, presence, chat, email etc).
I did some test in my place and I configured my DHCP server to assign IP addresses with a 30 minutes lease time too. Strangely the issue does not happen. On my place every 15 minutes (again the famous T1 timer = 50% of the lease) my mac sends a request and the DHCP replies with an ACK. This time apparently the lease gets extended as I don't see all the other requests. Needless to say that the IP does not get released at any time.
I compared the wireshark capture to spot any difference between that DHCP ACK I got in that given location and the one I got in my place but they look the same to me.
So the question is, how would you troubleshoot this issue? Which kinds of logs, outputs or debugs should I take?

Let say the user ony key in 7 rows of data.. how should i track it? coz these data act as input to my bapi function. One of the input field of my bapi is to state how many rows of data that a user had key in. Thank you.

I think ur problem is empty records, u dont want to process empty table rows.
m I right?
if yes then just before processing the data / records, check for empty records and remove unwanted rows from the node.
for (int i = 0; i < TableNode.size(); i++)
if all cells of row(i) are empty
remove row(i) from Table Node.
OR if you dont want to remove empty rows from display (screen), then at the time of processing, transfer useful rows to a separate node and process that node.

I've got no idea on how I would do this...

XBLNR is a character field. If you want to make sure all 15 positions have a digit and not some other character then use:
IF BKPF-XBLNR CO '0123456789'.
* OKAY, all 15 positions have digits
ELSE.
* NOT OKAY, at least one of the 15 is not a digit
ENDIF.
If you do not care what the characters are, then Rich has given you the solution but be aware that you could have embedded blanks, for example:
'ABCDEF GHIJK'
is length 15.

How do i limit the number of simultaneous downloads to my ipod touch?

I just purchased a new ipod touch and want to dump my entire icloud library onto it. I figured the easiest way to do this would be to make a smart playlist that includes all my music and then just download the whole playlist (thousands of songs). The problem is, at about 2/3 of the way through a track, the ipod touch automatically starts downloading the next track. At this point, it's trying to download about 50 tracks simultaneously and as a result is taking abotu 5 minutes to download one song. How can I limit the number of simultaneous downloads? Is there a faster way to load up a new ipod touch with your icloud library? Thanks.

Thank you for the reply. I had no idea I had so much access to Firefox prefs.
It's still a strange design though. Yep, the original setting was set to 30 simultaneous downloads. I set it to four, which would see to make my Mac more usable as four downloads are rolling while all the rest are in queue.
Only probably is, Firefox doesn't just think of what is in the download list as a "download". Once all four downloads are rolling, no more webpages will open! (Strangely, sometimes they will, but very slowly ... but usually not at all.)
Apparently, even a browser tab is a "download" and is stopped once the assigned number of simultaneous downloads is reached.
So I'm still back to not being able to limit my downloads for the benefit of having good use of my browser while downloads are coming in.
Right now, one pages where I have boo-koo downloads I want to initiate at one time, I'm clicking "download", starting the download, going to the downloads list, pausing it, getting another download, pausing it, and so on until I have a complete queue ready to go. Then I start the downloads once I know that I no longer need the internet.
That seems sort of for the birds, doesn't it?
Does anyone have any suggestions? Other specialized download programs get the concept of an active queue and a paused queue with a number-setting to determine the max downloads. Why doesn't Firefox get this? Or does it and have I just still not found it?
