How to checkout from the batch script?
Hello All !
Does anybody knows how to maintain versioned files with the batch scripts? Particularly I'm talking about doing a checkout/checkin operations. Are any command-line utilities available? Is it possible at all?
Regards, Sergey.
you can get entire table script
select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLE','TABLE_NAME','SCHEMANAME') from dual;
IT is not possible to get only the partition script
As it is a part of table definition.
You can also use the third party tool like 'TOAD' to get the script also.

How we can create the batch file to download the data in from URL in ssis
hi,
any one help on one the below requirement.
i have to create one batch file to download the report(reports is in csv format) from URL...
requirement should be like this...
1. we have some reports is there in the URL..
2.when ever we execute the url, the report should be download and save it to the local folder.
3. this requirement i have to write in the batch file
should any one let me know how we can create the batch file for the above requirement.Hi Priya.N,
If you use SQL Server Reporting Services for reporting, you can use Visakh’s suggestion to create a script file which calls Reporting Services Web Service to render a report in CSV format and save a batch file to the destination folder, and then create a
batch file to run the rs.exe utility which can executes the .rss script file. For more information, please see:
Report Server Web Service
ReportExecutionService.Render Method
rs Utility (rs.exe) (SSRS)
If you use other reporting tools, it depends on the reporting functionality and this requirement may be not achieved.

How to find out the batches released from ASCP
hello gurus,
Please let me know how to find out the batches which is released from the ASCP in the OLTP OPM instance, like for the Discrete in the WIP Order in the others tabe we can see that there will be a message like " Job mass loadded on......". So is there any way that we can findout whether the batch is released from the ASCP or is it manually created.
Thanx & RegardsHi,
You can check it in SM59 if there are any RFC destinations for the above systems.
Alternatively ,check the table RFCDEST if any entries are maintained
Regards,
Lakshman. -
Is it possible to run a group solve from the batch manager?

nullProblem: I have a Perl script in my AIR App's install directory that needs executable permissions on a Mac.
Solution: Chmod the file in my AIR App.
My code looks something like the following:
if (Capabilities.os.indexOf("Mac OS") > -1) {
var dlFile:File = File.userDirectory;
var _chmod:File = new File("/bin/bash");
dlFile = new File(file);
var nativeProcess:NativeProcess = new NativeProcess();
var chmodStartupInfo:NativeProcessStartupInfo = new NativeProcessStartupInfo();
chmodStartupInfo.executable = _chmod;
var args:Vector.<String> = new Vector.<String>();
args.push("-c");
// Trace so I can make sure the command and path are correct in the debugger
trace ("\"chmod ugo+x '"+dlFile.nativePath+"'\"");
args.push("chmod ugo+x '"+dlFile.nativePath+"'");
chmodStartupInfo.arguments = args;
nativeProcess.addEventListener(NativeProcessExitEvent.EXIT, onExitError );
chmodStartupInfo.executable = new File(file);
var process:NativeProcess = new NativeProcess();
process.start(chmodStartupInfo);
I really hope this helps someone else. -
[python] setting a variable in a loaded module from the main script
Hi,
I have have two python scripts, one generally controlling my desktop wallpaper, the other downloads the APOD picture from the net and sets it as my wallpaper.
At the moment I can get the wallpaper script to load the apod script as a module to use its functionality.
The problem comes when I try to get the module to recognise variables set from the parent script:
I have both scripts using the variable 'verbose' to control how much output is printed, (which can be set from the command line options).
How do I get the 'verbose' variable in the imported module to be the same as the variable set by the script?
I can get it into an imported function using a keyword assignment when called, 'download(verbose=options.verbose)', but this is forgotten when other functions are called.
I have also tried making it a global variable.
I assume it is because I am importing the module and setting the default value before the main script sets its value, but I cant see a way round this.
Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Drewsimplicity:

I think I understand why it gives the results it does when run as 'test1.py -v'
I was just wondering if there was an easier way to get the second script to take and remember the variable without having to write variable=value into the function call every single time? However this is the only way I have found so far.

Filling an Activity from the Interactive Script in Interaction Center WC
Hi Experts,
I need to fill an activity from an Interactive Script in the Interaction Center WinClient.
When i finish selecting in the script all the possible answers, i need to create an activity with information coming from the script. How can i make that possible?
points rewarded
thanksAlberto
You can create an activity.i.e., you can create an Order from the Interactive Script if you already created the Script structurethen follow the below steps
I think it would be helpful
Procedure:
T-Code: EWFC0
Path: SPROIMGCustomer Relationship ManagementCustomer Interaction CenterVisible ComponentsAction Box SettingsDefine Configuration Profile for Action Box.
1. Choose F4 help to select one of the Action Box profiles you have created and you want to adapt and choose change.
2. Mark the Action box Configuration and create a new Action Box Group by choosing Create transaction group.
Enter a group ID, description and icon for the new transaction group and choose Continue.
3. Mark the new transaction group and create a new Action Box transaction by choosing Create transaction.
4. Enter a transaction ID.
5. Enter a Transaction Definition section, select Workspace.
6. In the Transaction Definition section, select Workspace.
Two additional fields will appear.
7 Choose F4 in the Workspace field to select the Script.
8. Choose F4 in the profile field to select the Interactive Scripting profile that you created in the previous steps above.
9. Enter a Slot Name if desired.
10. Choose Continue.
You are automatically taken to the Maintain Data Flow screen .No data flow parameters need to be maintained for the Interactive Scripting workspace.
11. Choose Back.
12 Choose Save.
Note: Since Only Workspace of this type can be open at once, you will need to close the Automatically Created Interactive Scripting Workspace before launching the Interactive Scripting Action Box call.

Filling Activity fields from the Interactive Script WinClient
Hi Experts,
I am working with Interactive Scripting (CRMM_TM_SCRIPT) and I already defined my interactive script. I am also creating Activities after I finish with the Script in order to register a case. I am doing this by defining an Action Type CIC-AB which calls an Action Box in the Interaction Center WinClient. In the Action field I define the name of the Activity I want to call from the Action Box of the Interaction Center.
When the Agent receives a call, he navigates in the Interactive Script in order to clasify the case he is treating. At the end of the Script, the case needs to be register following the clasification made by the Agent, and thats why we are calling an Activity. The thing is that we dont want the Agent to fill again the information he just defined in the Script in the Activiy, so we want to fill certain fields of the Activiy I am calling with Information of the Interactive Script I used before, in order to save time to the Agent that Register the Case.
Can anyome shed some light on this issue?
Thanks to everyone.Alberto

How to record from the video in or S-video Ports on Qosmio G40?
Can anyone tell me how to record from the video in or S-video ports, because i've tried the Ulead DVD factory program and the only capture device it could see was the webcam, and it did capture from it
After that i've downloaded the update file that was provided by the support website
The devices that the program could see are the TV tuner and the webcam (which it couldn't access anymore for some reason)
After that i've downloaded a newer update which simply is the same as the last update and seems that someone in the support website directed the link of the new update which they don't have to the file of the previous update which doesn't really do anything.Hi
There are 2 s-video ports; s-video out port is not designed to capture the signals from any external source. The name of this port says everything; its an OUT port!
The s-video-in port must be placed at the right side of the notebook. Dont mix the both ports. But note; this port receives only the video signals. To hear the sounds, use a video cable to connect the sound terminals of the audio device and your computer.
Red: sound right channel
White: sound left channel
The Ulead DVD Movie factory can be used to capture this signal. -
How to query from the xml table a single, specified element.

Using SELECT extractValue(value(t),'/rapportoparentela') into result FROM NF_XMLT X,
TABLE ( xmlsequence (extract(value(X),'/dati/famigliare/rapportoparentela'))) t
I get all the elements 'rapportoparentela' and I want to get only one specified.
Regards.
PieroPiero,
you can add the condition "CRRVNC76R52G337R" to your xpath-expression like:
SELECT extractValue(value(t),'/rapportoparentela')
FROM NF_XMLT x
,TABLE ( xmlsequence (extract(value(X),'/dati/famigliare[rapportoparentela="CRRVNC76R52G337R"]'))) tto select only those famigliare-elements that have a child-element rapportoparentela with value "CRRVNC76R52G337R".
When you stored your XML in an XMLType column in the table, i think the following queries are better:
SELECT extractValue(x.your_XMLType_column,'/dati/famigliare/rapportoparentela')
FROM NF_XMLT x
WHERE extractValue(x.your_XMLType_column,'/dati/famigliare/codicefiscale')
= 'CRRVNC76R52G337R'or
SELECT extractValue(x.your_XMLType_column,'/dati/famigliare/rapportoparentela')
FROM NF_XMLT x
WHERE existsNode(x.your_XMLType_column,'/dati/famigliare[codicefiscale="CRRVNC76R52G337R"]')

VinayHi Kamal and kanakam kolla,
This is just to let you know that,I solved my problem little differently by creating a new location and deployed the process flow.Now my process flow is working fine when i call from the shell script.What i see is that, it does not update properly when we update and redeploy the process flow.So far this is the work arround i could think off and i succesfully tested this.
Thank you Kamal and kanakam kolla,for giving a thought towards my problem.
Thanks

How to exit from the button test in diagnostic mode
Hi,
I am having some trouble with my ipod 7th gen.
First my lightning cable wont be recognize. show the error Accesory incompatible.
I try to solve the problem cleaning the golden pins in the cable and in the ipod. Don't work
I enter in diagnostic mode in my ipod and I get stucked in the button counter test..
In the screen appear a mesage 'Please reset the unit to end'. I don't know how to reset the unit
I press any button and only increase the counter for every button.
First how acan exit from the button counter test and how can fix the issue with the lightning cableYour problem is that you are trapped inside an event case. It is not a good idea to run extended code inside event cases, else the event structure cannot service other events.
Why don't you use the outer loop for everything? Now things don't step on each others toes. What good is an event structure if it cannot react at all times???
