Anyone who know how to choose default calendar in iOS7?

Have you tried a reset?
Quit the settings app: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)
You can also try resetting All Settings:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
You will not lose any data but it will remove any settings made in the settings app.

How do I get calendar in iOS7 to look up address when entered into location field of appt?

With Mavericks on iMac, when I start to enter a location into a calendar event, the address gets looked up, completed and a map shows up on the event. The map is there when that event is sync'd with iPhone or iPad running iOS7. But on iPhone or iPad, when I enter an address into a calendar item, no lookup takes place and therefore I don't have a "live" address to click on for directions. Is there some setting in iOS7 that determines whether an address gets looked up in the calendar?

A quick look at their web site shows I've misinterpreted what you said - Notational Velocity isn't related to iCal. However if you are still having a problem with that the makers would be the people to ask.
I'm not sure why you can't get iCal files to work if they are in the correct place. In 10.6.8 the Calendar folder includes a folder for each calendar, and these contain the .ics files which represent the actual events. I don't know whether 10.8 has altered the format as I don't use it.
You originally said ' I found the old calendar data in Users/my name/Library/Calendars, and copied it over into the Library file on my new machine.' - did you copy the entire Calendars folder intact?

First if you are using CS3 and I see this is your first post so you must follow these few steps first:

Visit the above page and visit the Spry website. Download the Spry Updater package. Once downloaded it will give you an Extension for DW. Install this extension and then run DW. You will see a new option under the Commands menu (i believe that's where it puts it). Right that command to update the Spry and it will update all your Spry files in that site and update any future Spry you may update (that Commands update only needs to be run on pre-existing sites). There are further instructions in the package.

I have just installed Mountain Lion, and am finding that notification center will notify me when someone adds an event on an iCloud calendar that has been privately shared with me. I would rather just receive notifications about my own calendars (and just look in iCal when I want to see the shared calendar). Is there a way to set a preference on this?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

The most you can do to the calendar you want to be 'default or so say' is to drag it to the top of the list in iCal. What that will do is if you get an invitation in Mail it will add it to that top calendar.
If you mean you want to be able to choose were your Notes and To Do's goto? Go to while in mail (Mail)/(Preferences)/(Composing)/ and in the (Create Notes & To Do's in:) select (On My Mac). Now you will have an option of what calendar you want to use when you make the Note/To Do.
Other then that you have to select the Calendar you want as default.

The default calendar is the one that events are added to unless you specify something different. Their can be only one.
What are you syncing your phone to for calendars? Gmail? Outlook? iCloud? Something else? Without knowing that, it's hard to give advice.

When I right click on a time/date in my mac mail message to add it to a calendar, it defaults to my home calendar. As best as I can tell this is determined by the option for setting your default calendar for reminders in the preferences for iCal. In my preferences for iCal I can set my main calendar preference to my gmail calendar, but I can not set the default calendar for reminders to my gmail calendar. Google Calendars do not sync Reminders (what Google call Tasks) via CalDAV. That is why you cannot set up the default iCal Reminders list to the Google options.

When I add events from either my macbook pro or my iphone using ical there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to whether these events are added to either my "work" or "home" calendar. The iCal desktop calendar has no such preference. Default entry is dependent upon first selecting the appropriate calendar in the "CALENDARS" pane.
The iPhone default calendar is available by selecting Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Calendars>Default Calendar.

Not possible, Outlook only allows Exchange or local calendars to be the default, same with Contacts.

The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter?

How can I make the default iPad calendar display holidays? I'm using my Gmail calendar to sync with default calendar. But no holidays are coming up...

I don't use e-mail on my Blackberry, and I usually don't have Facebook installed. I have used the Blackberry for YEARS and have kept my BB calendar synched to my Outlook Calendar on my computer. Then I installed Facebook, and then deleted the app. However, the next time I added an appointment on my phone, it added it to the Facebook Calendar - which does not synch to my Outlook calendar. When I go to Advanced apps and try to change my CICAL calendar, it just shows Facebook and won't change.
I can choose which calendar to look at; Default or Facebook, but it seems I can no longer add appointments to the default calendar - and even when I've deleted the Facebook app off of the device? And done a hard reboot.
Help!!!! (I've added some appointments in the future and I'm afraid I might miss them even if I try to add them manually to my computer)

Please post the properties of your source media that will be imported into the project to produce the original intro.
That information will be used by you (manually) or the project (automatically) to set a project preset to
match the properties of your source media.
When you go to export your intro to a file which will be saved to the computer hard drive for future use, you want to do so with export
settings that will produce a file whose properties will be consistent of project 2, 3, or 4 into which you want
to import that intro.
If you supply the properties of your source media going into the production of the intro (frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive), I will give
you a step by step example in your thread for you to try. If some problem with that, I will do the step by step
with some hypothetical values to demo the principles.
If you wanted to go the dummy project route...I would create a new project with the appropriate project settings and save the built
intro as the project file (prel). You can always make copies of the dummy project by opening one, going to File Menu/Save A Copy/ setting
the save location and giving the copy a new name like dummy project 2, 3, 4, or.....
Please let me know if you want me to do that. I can even include screenshots if necessary.

Default Calendar Option being ignored in iOS7

I seem to be having an issue with the Calendar, after upgrading to iOS7. (7.0.2)
I have multiple calendars synced to my Exchange email account.
In previous versions (iOS6 for example), I have been able to change the default Calendar that all new appointments go into.
This is still an option within iOS7, however it does not seem to work.
i.e. I have chnaged the default calendar to be Test1 (which is a sub calendar of Calendar) within my Exchange setup, but all new appointment requests seem to be going to the original Calendar Calender, even though within the settings i have changed the default setting.
Is anyone else having this issue as well, or is this a bug?

Ah, finally found a solution! I cannot explain why this suddenly got changed other than to assume it must have had something to do with a recent Windows Update or me trying to install Remote Desktop Services and Network Policy and Access Services.
I roughly followed the directions from
KB954357 or this
older post on the Hyper-V forum.
FIX:
1) Run gpedit.msc on the Hyper-V host that exhibits the problem.
2) Enable the policy setting Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Credentials Delegation > Allow Delegating Default Credentials with NTLM-only Server Authentication. Click the Show... button
next to "Add Servers to the list", and add the value "Microsoft Virtual Console Service/*" without the double quotes. Click OK. Click OK again to exit the dialog box.
3) Run a command prompt and execute gpupdate /force to refresh the group policy.
4) Now try to log into a machine in Hyper-V manager with default credentials enabled, and note that you are not prompted.
Again, I don't know why I had to do this, but it's working fine now.

How to make published calendar show month view by default?

I have a published calendar that I put into an iframe on a website. Unfortunately, it comes up in week view by default. I know that if you click on month view, it gives you a new URL that you could copy and use, but that URL is specific to a month and so when we get to April, for instance, the default calendar view would be month, but would still display March's calendar. Is there something else I can put in the URL to make the default view to the actual, current month?

Thank you. What I found in settings was that I could go to Yahoo (not iCloud) and "uncheck" the "calendar" option for that account. This allowed me to default to the calendar I wished to use, instead.
