I had a similar problem but Apple telephone support provided an easy fix for me.
Go through the process to restart your computer. As soon as the screen goes black, depress the Option and the Apple buttons at the same as you press the "R" and the "P" buttons. Hold all four buttons down during the restart.
The screen will come on bright as if it is starting up like it regularly does. Keep holding the four keys down and the screen will go black again and then after a few seconds, it will come on bright again and proceed to open as usual. Let go of the four keys once the screen becomes bright again. You have just cleared your cache and your computer will run faster.
I usually then go into my finder and click on utilities. Then I click on disk utility and work my way through to repair disk permission. If you have different hard drives (like an external backup), you might have to click on the MAC HD icon and then hit the repair permissions button on the screen. It will usually start out saying that it will take about 1 - 3 hours, but it usually only takes about 5 minutes or so. Once it is finished, click out of everything and you should be good to go.
I have found that going through this process about every 3 - 4 weeks keeps my computer running really fast and it only takes about 10 minutes for everything. You don't lose anything during the restart - it only clears cache items that slow the systems down.
I'm not expert and I may not be using the correct terms, but it does work for me everytime.
If you use the Internet extensively, you might also consider clearing cookies once or so a month. Pull down the Safari icon and go to preferences and then go to privacy and the box will ask Remove All Website Data. It will remove cookies and other tracking links that might slow down your system. At the very least, it should help stop some of the endless emails that you'll get for products and sites from the sites you've visited. The downside is that you might have to reengage some of the site you use regularly, such as banking sites, paypal, etc. When you log on to them, they may say that you cannot proceed since you don't accept cookies. Just type in the ID and password again (as usual) and it should open up like normal.

But, as a brody says, it's usually not a good idea to do that unless you're sure it's needed.

I would ask them if what you want is possible before purchasing. A customer of mine got it to make many other custom formatted pages. Don't have them anymore, but they I'm sure could tell you if it is possible. Be sure to also indicate your printer model.

How do I download Safari for Mountain Lion? It's not in the App Store, it is nowhere on the Apple website . . . OK, so I guess it is supposed to be part of Mountain Lion, but I am running Mountain Lion and whatever version of Safari I ended up with would not even run at all . . . so I trashed it (or at least what part of it I was allowed to trash) and though reinstalling it would be a good idea . . . but I can't find one to reinstall. The latest version I can find is for Leopard, and of course that won't run.
Not to mention that since getting Mt Lion, iPhoto won't run . . . it produces an error message saying I need to check with the developer to make sure it runs with this version of OS X! So I wonder who the developer of iPhoto is, who produces software that is incompatible with Mt Lion???
And even in submitting this there is no option to tag it for any OS later than 10.7.4!!

Since Safari is crashing, post a crash report... reinstalling the OS X rarely helps a browser crash issue.
If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash information.
Copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply. If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.

Why? Good question. I am a strong believer in not upgrading just because something new comes out, especially if you are running older equipment. I would say unless you see a need for it, just stick with Snow Leopard until something comes along that absolutely requires Mountain Lion.

Quit Safari.
Click out on your desktop somewhere to get Finder menu on the top menu bar. Then look over to the right, and select the "Go" menu while holding down the "Option"button. You will then see an option for "Library" right under your home folder on that list.
That is your hidden Users Library. Open that Library, go down to Caches. Open that, and then look for apple.com.Safari. Take that file to the trash.
Restart Safari.

It''s a bit drastic, but that clears Safari cache. There's another way of clearing the cache:
1. Open Safari, go to Safari menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences > Advanced, and tick "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Launch the usual set of applications you use when you notice the problem.
Step 1
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the page that opens.
Select the CPU tab of the Activity Monitor window.
Select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for % User, % System, and % Idle at the bottom of the window.
Select the System Memory tab. What values are shown in the bottom part of the window for Page outs and Swap used?

Usernoted was continually crashing and eating up memory. I clicked on it in the activity monitor and it took me to a place where I could turn it off. Without thinking I did so.     I create a mime object (such as "test1.jpg") in mime repository.
   In web dynpro, I add two UI elements: a formatted text edit and a File-Upload "Insert Image",
   after I click the File-Upload "Insert Image",
   I select an image file (such as test2.jpg) from local directory, and upload the content of the image file to mime object(test1.jpg) in mime repository.
   at the same time, I insert a line into formatted-text-edit as "<img src="/SAP/Public/.../test1.jpg" />".
   I double click the mime object (test1.jpg), its content has changed as test2.jpg,
   however, formatted-text-edit still displays the content of test1.jpg.
   When I mannually clear the cache of IE, and refresh the web, Formatted-text-edit display the content of test2.jpg.
It's obvious that the cache of http server isn't cleared.
