Google calendar is getting the error "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." I have tried disabling cookies, clearing cookies and cache but that didn't work.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I have FF version 4. The BBC home page will no longer load, though I can load other BBC pages such as BBC news. I don't know why it won't load and I just get a blank white page - t loads in safari fine. I have cleared cookies and cache but it makes no difference. Please advise on next steps for trying to sort.

I use FF 8.0 (x86en-US) as default browser, since update to 8.0 FF intermittently takes ages to load some websites, sometimes not loading the site at all. To rectify this I go back one page to the Google results or hyperlink and ask FF to load the webpage again. This usually solves the problem but not always. I have cleared cookies and cache and added FF to exceptions in windows firewall. The websites affected are not always the same and some that load quickly one day can take ages next time. IE8 loads all websites OK. Antivirus and malware scans all clear.

How do I clear cookies and caches from a android phone?
I can't turn in a school assignment, tech support with my school said it was the cookies and caches.
Normally, you can clear Firefox for Android's cookies and cache using:
menu > Settings > Privacy > Clear Private Data
Select the categories to clear; you might not need or want to clear everything.
Note that on some devices, there is a dedicated menu button and Firefox expects you to use that. On other devices, without a dedicated menu button, Firefox displays a vertical stack of 3 dots on the right end of the address bar. Tap that to display the menu. -
Safari unable to clear cookies and cache
Each time I reset Safari it is supposed to clear cookies and the cache, yet I do a reset, continue browsing and return to a site like hotmail and I'm still signed in...
If I reset Safari and go right back to hotmail it's OK, but any delay and continued browsing allows it to somehow use the old cookies and cache. Does anyone have any ideas? I tried tech support to no avail. Thanks.I've done the plist delete several times, but that doesn't help. Somehow it is able to look back and re-create these cookies and cache. Is there a choice of using the cache or having Safari look for new pages each time?

The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
i can load these websites with internet explorer but not firefox example: dickssportinggoods.com and sportsauthority.comStart Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
To Enable SafeMode
*You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
*''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox"; Linux: "Firefox/File > Quit")

I synced Firefox with my Droid Razr Maxx Firefox. Now Google Calendar hangs on "Loading" and will not function. Clearing cache and cookies does not help. Works the same on any computer Firefox. But Gmail works fine and Calendar is okay under other browsers.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I have tried all of the options suggested on this site and nothing works. I can get my mail on google chrome and internet explorer but not on firefox, WHY????
Hello,
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings and disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
''(If you're using an added theme, switch to the Default theme.)''
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu by clicking on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item:

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
* On Windows: Hold the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* On Mac: Hold the '''option''' key while starting Firefox.
* On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run ''firefox -safe-mode''
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]] article to find the cause.
''To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
Thank you. -
the website I am trying to go in is www.marinacraft.com.my
Staff working there told me there is no problem with their website.Sorry, but it doesn't help JTANNA.
What is your definition of "more efficiently"? If it's limitation of search results, branded search, and limitation of styling your results then google search is more efficient. Real developers rely on their own developments. For example: how can google search display results from a password-protected site? They can't.

gmail will not open in standard view
You do not have the properties in the Bookmarks Manager (Library), but you should have it if you right-click a bookmark the Bookmarks Toolbar or in the bookmarks sidebar.
On Mac you probably do not have it if you right-click an item in the Bookmarks menu (this menu is under control of the Mac OS), but I assume that this should work if you click the "Show your bookmarks" button on the Navigation Toolbar that is next to the star to bookmark the current tab and right-click an item in the bookmarks list that opens. -
