How to clear old clone samples to start new - ACR

Hi - I'm wanting to re-clone an area that I've already worked in ACR but the previous clone sample circles are still present which does not allow me to re-elect the area that has already been sampled. How can I clear this circles and and continue my clone work?

I have downloaded latest Version of Airport tool on my PC. In addition i have downloaded the airport tool for Ipad.
I have reset one of my airport Express and it now shows up both on the Ipad and on the PC airport tool.
My Ipad says "base station e5713b cannot be configured."
I have wired the airport Express to my Ethernet to be able to "see it" on my Airport tool.
My AirPort tool on the PC will not permit me to add the airport Express to my new Airport Extreme network (no network names on the drop-down list to choose from). I wished for an easy set-up, but nothing seems to be plug and play as the Commercial says.. can you please help me?

Yep - I in fact have two A1088 and one A1264
I actually bought the new router because the Jensen
router always lost connection to the Airport Express after some hours or days. I
always needed to restart my Jensen to play music and that was driving my wife
mad. The hope was that the Extreme should fix this. Both A1088 have been set up
to only stream music to two of my stereo amplifiers from my PC’s Itunes library.
Are the A1088 now useless?
The A1264 has been set up to feed internet into a Denon Reciever that needed Ethernet cable.

How to use old archieve logs with a new control file

Environment:
ORACLE_BASE="/export/home/oracle"
ORACLE_HOME="/export/home/oracle/product/8.1.6"
NLS_LANG=".UTF8"
2 partitions:
i) /data1 -- contains important datafiles (OS striping on 3 hard
disks)
ii) /export/home -- contains the oracle program, and SYS/SYSTEM
datafiles
Problem:
-/data1 cannot be read/mount (damaged)
-oracle failed
Action Performed:
-reinstalled OS
-mount /export/home successfully (all oracle system files,
instance init files exist)
-/data1 is an empty partition
-created the oracle user, and its groups
-chown recusively for the $ORACLE_BASE directory
-set all the oracle environment variables
-attempted to start the instance, but failed due to a control
file was
missing
-since control files were set to be mirrored, i copied a control
file somewhere
from /export/home/oracle/oradata/<SID>/control1.ctl to
/data1/oracle/oradata/<SID>/control2.ctl (i.e. have them back to
their original locations)
-the instance failed to start as well, since the datafile set in
the control files couldn't be found
-this forced me to re-create the control file... b4 i re-create
a new control file, i backed up the old one
-once the control file was created, the database can be started,
but, to oracle, all achieve log information are lost (although
the achieve log's physical files r still there)
-i imported the important data from a dump file that was
exported a week ago b4 the system failure
-since we r using the new control file, the redo logs switch
contains no achieve log information that the old control file
has, so running "recover database" doesn't do anything
Purpose:
since the dump file is a week old, i'd like to get the data
after my last export and b4 the system failure. the database was
run in arhieve log mode, how can i recover those data with the
new control file
Question:
-how can we create a new control file that can drive the old
achieve logs?
-can we convert the achieve log data (.dbf format) into text
format?
-can we still use the old control files to start the database?
-what's a suggested solution if we'd like to re-construct the
database up to the moment b4 the system failure in another
server?

How to transfer old icloud id stuff to new account id?

Ok I have a friend who has an iPhone 6 and his wife an iPad (old iPad using large usb cable) and they have an
iMac (no DVD drive) and they use the same iCloud id's on both devises now the part to do 2 separate iCloud id's
I can do no problem BUT the part I'm not sure how to do is to transfer Contacts, Calendar, Photos, music,
apps etc…. from the old iCloud id to the new one without loosing anything. This change will be done on the iPad side
So what to do?? I didn't tell them yet that it was gona be easy to do because I have no idea what's involved to do this
transfer so I need help to do this step by step (no geek language please). They have OSX 10.10 on iMac and iOS 8.2
on both devices.

Technical part is as easy as it gets, you just sign out of icloud and when prompted you keep what you are allowed to keep. Stuff that you will not have a choice is really minor, but if you want to - you can backup that stuff by emailing photostream pictures or documents in the cloud. Once sign out - sign back in to new id.
Legal part is however different - while you are allowed to keep all those applications, music on ipad, it belongs to old apple id still. Legally, so when it is time to update app you need to enter password for old account or delete an app and redownload for new account. If it is not free you have to pay again. Normally though families do not mind doing updates under the same id, as long as icloud and imessage/facetime are separate.

How re-assign old bank statements to a new bank account?

Actually, we have a bank account and use to enter bank statements for the same account for reconciliation purpose. But later we found some mistake in that bank account "GL accounts", so we tried to update the problematic GL account, but Oracle is not allowed us to do so. Hence, we have entered end-date for the same bank account and created one more new account. Now, how can we re-assign all those old bank statements to the new bank account? Can any expert help us in this issue?

Last year I did a catalogue of sportswear products. It contained about 550 items and each cell-item had about 3 images and 5 textframes. Now I am creating a new catalogue, which should contain about 80% of old items. The images & information according to the product will be just the same. The problem is, that it has to have a completely different look {layout & styling, etc.}.
I would like to ask for a master-adwice: Do I have to cut & paste 10 000 times the images & textframes from old INDD file to the new one and restyle & resize & repose all afterwards or is there some sophisticated recipe how to use the computing power of my machine and simple tell the program, that all the textfields in old INDD document styled by "Header 01" should be imported to the textframes styled by "NewHeader 01" in the new INDD document? Or something with Named Ranges:
Old-INDD > Excel > New-INDD?
I am eager to find the way how to save a week of monkey work of Ctrl+C > V

If you delete a used paragraph style, InDesign asks you with what it should be replaced. Is that easy enough? :-)
But you do have to take care to inspect the original style for "based on" features, as well as all other styles that are derived from it.
Are the style changes so big you cannot get away with re-defining the existing one?

If by "old" apple cinema the OP is referring to the aluminum displays of the later mac models, then yes, that's a no-brainer, the problem is that if the OP is referring to the "real" old apple cinema displays, which have a DVI-type connection with power included on the same cable, like the displays the former Mac G4 or G5 had, then he needs a ADP to DVI port, which in most cases it cost more than the actual monitor itself.. I guess the OP needs to specify what does it mean by old apple displays or throw in a link to an image..

How to move old address book (XP) into new computer (8.1) as the existing default address book.

I have exported the address book in LDIF format and have also found the abook.mab file in my old XP computer. My new W8.1 address book is totally empty. I don't know where to find the Profile folder on W8.1 and when I import the LDIF it creates a new address book folder which I don't want. I just want everything in the default address book.

Open the newly created address book. Click on one contact to select it. Hit control+a to select them all. Drag and drop them on the personal Address Book folder to move them there.

My first question: how do I locate and clear out old, unnecessary files and folders? I'm thinking about browser cookies, temp files, etc.
Second question: is this even necessary on a Mac? I just switched from PC recently, and I am still trying to learn the Mac way. I know that with a Windows PC it is CRUCIAL to clear out cookies, the "temp" folder, and various other folders from time to time, because Windows constantly saves things you don't need. I just freed up 5GB on my work PC by cleaning it up in this fashion.
So: is this kind of "maintenance" necessary on a Mac, and if so how do I do it?

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...

At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 5 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
As long as you don't have a USB connection in tandem with a UPS, which can cause problems. If so, disconnect it first.
The other thing is to have a Cloned backup, Get carbon copy cloner to make an exact copy of your old HD to the New one...

Why are you trying to do that?
Dynamic Classloading(reloading) has a meaing only on "application container" like WAS.
Not appropriate for normal applcation.
Focus on enhancing your application logic and algorithm rather than wasting your brain on difficult and meaningless things. Applying some flexible design patterns wouldn't suffice?
Anyway, Sun provides wonderful and simple custom classloader sample.

How to clear old Software Update data as well as Report Data

Hi,
due to some problems with the software update scan we removed the sup role and the wsus server from our site server. After the removale i checked the Software Updates Console node and saw that all synced updates will still be shown with a grayed symbol in front. Also the reports will show the last scan dates as well as other informations related to software updates.
Is there a way to clean these datas ? Deleting the computer object will not delete these datas.
How can i clean up such stuff ? Is there an SQL task?
