How to clear Purchage return (T.code. F-41)

when i post purchase return document using F-41, always showing pending traction means it showing open item.. how to clear that purchage return..
when i post purchage invoice, outgoing payment also it showing open item.. how to clear that open itemm..

As per standard SAP process, the purchase return is normally accounted through transaction code MBRL and at that same time the system clears the open items as well, provided the purchases are accounted through Purchase order.

How to execute external scripts that returns error code

Hi,
What is the best approach to execute a unix shell scripts in ODI thats return a code e.g. 1- found , 2 - not found. The return code needs to assigned to a ODI variable. I have gone through some posts that explained how to refresh odi variable from file. well in that case i have to write the error code to a file and then read to a ODI variable. Is there any direct approach available ? Is there any other way I can assign values to ODI variable other than its refresh methods ( select from <source>) for e.g. Inside odi procedure ?

In order to reduce the steps we need to do that using java itself. It will be something like this .
Step 1. ODI procedure - Technology Java Bean shell .

JAVA OS COMMOND CODE TO TRIGGER THE PEARL SCRIPT.
GET THE RETURN INTO JAVA VARIABLE ( SAY FOR EX result )

Step 2. Creating the variable.
select any oracle schema
select '<@=result@>' from dual
and call this variable in refresh mode in package.
Step 3. processing with variable what ever you wish to do .
Personally i have not tried the java os command to get the return code . I will look into this and let you know sooner or later. If you want you can explore the code or google the code and see if what you are planning to achive is possible ,else the other way can be using the file as you know.

GR in one GL Code and IR in different GL code -how to clear?

what configuration we need to do so that these accounts get cleared
automatically?
For example
During GR the GR/IR clearing a/c was 307213 and during Invoice
Verification the GR/IR clearing A/c is 307212.What
configuration is needed to clear these two?

sorry I dont think it will work. Presently for this particular client the GR and IR getting posted in the same a/c for that particular valuation class.
for example valuation class is 3009.
for this valuation class GR and IR both the a/c NOW is 307213.
But in between they have some GR and IR for which they have different accounts. How to clear those?

How to control screnario return code

Can I control the return code of called screnario? In called screnario, even both case run successfully, I still want to return different code for each case so the calling screnario can go to different direction by using ok or ko.

Last Value will not work for that unless you create one variable to each package and the same package can't be started in parallel.
Another solution is create a work table for that (like a C$ and I%) use the mother session as PK, pass the session mother as parameter to the scenario and insert the value at this table.

How to clear value of variable on page definition

I use Jdev vesion 10.1.3.2. I develop with ADF, I don't use ADF BC
I create 2 pages.
1. ListPage.jspx
- show list of Product
- this page can search by product code
- when I click add, go to AddPage.jspx
2. AddPage.jspx
- for add new product
My problem :
When I search product with key A001, I found list of product that have 'A001' in Code.
After then I add new product, it have code is P009.
When I come back to ListPage.jspx, I not found newly product.
In my opinion, because key for search is A001.
But I don't know How to clear variable ??

I solved this problem by executing view object again before redirecting to the previous page.
You can do this either in constructor of ListPage.jspx conditionally
or in backing bean action when returning from addPage.jspx

How to clear text fields when the user navigates back to the screen

Does anyone have any idea on how to clear the text input fields and dropdown boxes when the user navigates back to the screen, say for e.g. create screen?
My issue is that i have plenty of fields in the create screen within a form. Is there a way to avoid programaticaly blanking out every field and just do it at the form level using an api to reset to a state before the user entry?

This code allows you to make it more generic, and you would need to tweak it if there are more than TextInput controls, but it should provide some ideas.
As far as using states, you could use SetProperty to set the text to empty, but that might be messier.

How to trap null return values from getters when using Method.invoke()?

Hi,
I am using Method.invoke() to access getters in an Object. I need to know which getters return a value and which return null. However, irrespective of the actual return value, I am always getting non-null return value when using Method.invoke().
Unfortunately, the API documentation of Method.invoke() does not specify how it treats null return values.
Can someone help?

In FBCJ after payment you have clear manually vendor balance in F-44.
If you want SPL GL in FBCJ then write a Substitution .
1. step 001 - Special G/L Substitution
2. Prerequisite - Transaction code = 'FBCJ'
3. Substitution posting key -- Exit (need help from abap) exit name
G/L Exit (need help from abap) exit name
Special G/L Ind Exit (need help from abap) exit name
you can't do this without ABAP help

How to clear the open documents in case if document currency and local curr

Hi,
Can anyboday advise how to clear the open document of a particular vendor for a particular company code. Here the issue is that balace is netted to Zero in the document currency but not in the local currency. The document was posted in Currency CAD and the local currency is GBP.
When i check the FBL1N, there is it showing net balance is ZERO, but document is still in open
status. I tried using Transaction code F-44, but it is not allowing me.
Can anyboday advise how to perform this. Points will be awarded.

In the Company code global parameters(OBY6),select the check box "NO FOREX RATE DIFF.WHEN CLEARING IN LC"
and try clearing again.(You can have a F1 help on the check box to see what exactly it is).

How to clear vendor open documents

How to clear vendor open documents, I had previously tried to clear the documents in PRD with transaction F-44 and I get the following message.
X. Ex.rate diff.accts are incomplete for account 00015080 currency CAD

You can clear using the t code F-44 which is manual or by using F.13 which is automatic.
The error you are getting is with refernce to a transaction between your Local currency and Currency "CAD"
Maintain a transalation ratio and the exchange rate. Here the system also looks for a exchange loss or gain on such conversion also. Map those accounts and you will be clearing the transaction.
If you are using automacti clearing you need to decide on the link(Common feild) between the DR open item and CR open item and these open items after having this as a refernce can be cleared automatcially in F.13.

Hi,
You can clear it manually using F-03. In that T-Code it is a manual clearing and not automatic clearing...so you can select any line items you want to clear, only thing is that their balance should be Zero.
