How to clear the Page '09 recents list?

On Pages '09 and Mtn Lion.
A right click on the Page icon shows a list of "recent" files, none of which exist any longer. Files that are open/closed do not get added to this list, but are added to the File>Open Recent list. Clear List clears this list, but doesn't clear the icon's right-click list.
Having a functional right-click recents menu on the Pages icon sure would boost my productivity, so any help certainly will be appeciated.

I did this every few minutes all evening and again this morning ,,,,
"Sometimes it takes a few moments to happen, sometimes you have to open then quit the app a few times, but the list does goe away as do the thumbnail Icons from the Right-Click > Show Recents in The Dock Icon."
.... and Pages' right-click's recents menu remained filled with non-existant files. Same problem in Numbers and Keynote.
Did a Restart and the problem magically disappeared .... problem RESOLVED!

Instead of doing it on the same button better create a separate button for this functionality, As per my understanding you want to clear these fields to create new record so that you can enter a new record so for this you just need to insert a new row in VO.
Still if you want to do it on the same button then you need to put the check that particular record is not dirty if it is not then create new record else create new record.
One more thing if you will clear on the second click of a button how will you update your record??

You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.<br />
This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.<br />

* Create a Field on the margin.
* Set its "Source" to "Page Number"/"Physical Page Number".
* Click "Page Numbering" button.
* In "Reset At" list box, choose the Repeating frame that surrounds your detail group in the layout.
This should cause Reports to increment the page number until the "Company" repeating frame resets.

I have one issue regarding search result of service request please help me on this issue....
We have added some custom fields using value nodes and EEWB image field in search result of service requests....and the problem is when we click on export excel sheet button in result list for first time it is working fine data is showing in excel sheet, but after that when we done some changes in search screen and press search button for second time and press the export excel sheet...data not bound in excel sheet....
After analysis by me....after pressing the button and modify in search screen export excel sheet for second time in ME-> Last_line_iterator is not clearing it is containing previous search value for last_line_iterator.... so it is failing to call GET_ITERATOR( ) ....so anyone suggest who face same problem in their experience ....how to clear the Last_line_iterator ...let me know if any information required .....pls it is very urgent .....

Everytime user clicks on a new shop, create a session variable and set it to any value.
userSessionData.setAttribute("NEWSHOP","true");
Now go to history.jsp and just above this piece of code put a validation for the value of this session variable and
if its value matches to "true" than only let the below code to execute.After the validation dont forget to remove this
variable from session.

Clear the page when navigate through menubar

Hi All,
Need help to resolve the problem.
In my page, i have menubar with couple of command menu item. One is for to enter new record and another is for to search the record.
When i click the search menubar, it will take to search screen and i can able to search the record with input criteria. After fetching the result, i am selecting the record to view full complete details and return back to search screen. At this time i need to maintain entered search criteria value and also result in the table.
What i need is after search , if i navigate to creation form using menubar item and then again coming back to search screen. At this time i want to clear the form. I want to display the screen without any values.
How to clear the values when we navigate through menubar item.
Kindly suggest tips or any sample for to fix it.

Thanks for your reply. I will just explain what happened initially.
When i click the search menu item, it loads the page, while loading it executes the findSearchQuery method in the EJB. Initially there is no value, so it shows empty screen. After entered value in the screen and search it. It displays result in the page.
After that i navigate to another page through the menu bar and again back to search screen at this the value was there so the findSearchQuery is executing.
I tried giving refresh="prepareModel" in the page definition file. But no impact.
That's i went to second approach.
If you don't mine please give syntax for to refresh the binding..when we navigate through the menu bar.

Clear the page cache

Hi,
We have recently started to develop our application on Solaris, before each regression test is run we need to clear the page cache so that performance is consistent. On Redhat/CentOS there is the following command:
To free pagecache, dentries and inodes:
echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
However I cant find an equivalent command for Solaris. We have been using tail -f /dev/zero to run a huge process until the memory has been flushed which isn't very reliable and slow. Anyone know of a different way to do this?

If we are running multiple tests one after the other then the first test may make calls which causes information to be cached, then when the second test runs it may make use of the previously used pages in cache. This makes the second test results inconsistent as if it ran first the timing results would be different, also running through a debugger or with truss doesn't give the accuracy for timing that is required in this situation.

When I am editing a website on my computer and viewing the changes through fire fox everything works great, I just hit refresh.
But when testing the websites changes online (after unloading it) I can not see any changes, using the refresh button is of no help and clear the cache is not helping either.
I get quite frustrated with this as I then have to change the name of the web page just to get fire fox to refresh it properly and then change it back again.

You need to first get the ID of the paragraph containing the marker (with FP_TextLoc), then get the top-level frame containing the FO_Pgf object (FP_InTextFrame), then get the page containing the FO_TextFrame object (FP_PageFramePage). Here is a function that you can send various objects to in order to get the page ID, including paragraphs (this courtesy of Rick Quatro, originally posted to the Yahoo Framedev list):

...so, you would do something like this if you have the marker ID:

Note: I'm not sure how this handles the case where a paragraph extends across two pages and the marker is located on the second page. My thought is that it might erroneously return the page where the paragraph begins. I don't know how to handle that.

Yes you are right, The warning message is being displayed on Page2 when user clicked on 'Save' button on Page2. The Code snippet is being executed in ServiceImpl class when user clicks on the Save button.
Basically, I am validating the Page1 data and Page2 data on Page2 when User clicks on the Save button on page2.

How to clear the open documents in case if document currency and local curr

Hi,
Can anyboday advise how to clear the open document of a particular vendor for a particular company code. Here the issue is that balace is netted to Zero in the document currency but not in the local currency. The document was posted in Currency CAD and the local currency is GBP.
When i check the FBL1N, there is it showing net balance is ZERO, but document is still in open
status. I tried using Transaction code F-44, but it is not allowing me.
Can anyboday advise how to perform this. Points will be awarded.

Hi,
In the Company code global parameters(OBY6),select the check box "NO FOREX RATE DIFF.WHEN CLEARING IN LC"
and try clearing again.(You can have a F1 help on the check box to see what exactly it is).
