    Perhaps you might go to your apple account, sign in and delete yourself?
    You'll lose stuff saved to that ID.

    I tried this but it won't allow me to do that....I don't have worries about loosing things as I don't have any other apple products or any use for anything that might be saved

    I appear to have at least two Apple Support Community accounts. Let's call them A (my original one) and B (one I set up in error).
    How can I close B?  (The account I'm using to post this question is B.)
    The eMail address associated with B is the one I want associated with A and the system won't allow me to do this while it is still associated with B.
    In addition, I can't even log into A because it asks me to choose a user name and then refuses permission to use my records as the eMail address is already in use.

    Thank you  I did receive a very pleasant reply but I fear I may have asked the wrong question in the first place as I was getting so confused!
    As far as I know, I have two different Apple IDs (I only want the first one that I setup!) But it appears they are each associated with a different e-mail address.  So my problem appears not to be with the Apple IDs themselves (although I would dearly like to delete the second one) but rather with the Apple support communities account.
    When I sign  into Apple communities as [email protected] (eMail addressed changed here for privacy!),  I am asked to "Choose your Apple Support Communities username"   So I choose one.  I am then presented with the message in bright red text "An account utilizing this email address already exists. Only one account per email address is allowed on Apple Support Communities.".   I am then not able to proceed so are unable to use the support community area.
    If I sign in to the other account ([email protected]),  I can login perfectly well but this is the account I would rather close so I can use the original one.
    Do you have any idea how I can proceed? The message I received suggested that I have yet another account using the [email protected]  e-mail address but I am at a loss to find out which account that might be!

    Open iTunes on the computer.  Without any iPhone plugged in, go to iTunes' menu and do Store > Sign Out.
    The click the iTunes Store row on the left of the iTunes display.  You can then sign on from the signon row on the right side of the display using the correct Apple ID and password.  Then you'll be all set!

It was suggested I sign out of the current active AppleTV account and sign in with the other. I can find no way to do this. Also, I have been advised by Apple that I cannot consolidate the two accounts.

    I am certain you are doing backups of your TV shows on your computer in iTunes?!  If not, do so.  You should also make sure that you backup both accounts.  Now, for your problem, you could combine the backups to one location then use your computer function on your Apple TV to watch all of your TV shows in one place.  The only other way to watch both accounts is to actually go into account settings on your Apple TV and change the account info to the account you want to watch the TV shows in that account.  Sounds awful, probably is.

    Go to the App Store, click on the Featured tab and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. It should say your Apple ID and amount on your account

    You can simply stop posting and your account will become inactive as a result, but it stays in the database. If you have an iTunes account, I suppose you can cancel your credit card as well.

    What do you mean 'change my apple store' ?
    You can only use the store for the country that you are in (and you need to have a billing address in that country on your account). If your iPad thinks that you are in a different country then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on it and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select your country.

    What exactly do you want to access/do with the account ?
    You can log into your account on your phone via Settings > iTunes & App Store, if you want to view/change details on it (e.g. payment details, primary email address) then (and if already logged in) tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then tap 'view apple id' on the popup. To buy an item from the store store tap on the item's price or free button in the iTunes or App Store apps
    On your computer's iTunes you can log in via the Store > Sign In menu option (if already logged into an account then that will show as Store > Sign Out), and to then view/change the account's details use Store > View Account.
