How to close a program that is not visible

I have downloaded an app/program that I cannot delete as it keeps telling me the program is still open, but I am unable to open it and find it. The program is Tone Sync Zedge. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your advice. I tried both ways you suggested and neither worked. It keeps telling me the program is open and when I click on the program to "open" it., nothing happens. I really appreciate your advise as MAC is new to me and I know know how to delete a program that is normal, just nto working with the unfortunate download I put onto the computer. Any advise is greatly appreciated!

Yes, with the tool 'tasklist' in the same directory.
The problem is that it is not easy to query from script. I tried it in the following script. Perhaps not perfect espacially because a command interpreter pop up every time you call the function.Option Explicit

I have multiple profiles and want to go back to a single profile without losing data or programs that are not shared

I need help
My partner has set up multiple profiles on the iMac and has not done the sharing of files and software correctly. Therefore we have some programs that do not operate in all profiles. I want to go back to a single profile but need to be sure I am not going to lose any data or programs in the process.
Can any one give me a step by step guide - I am not mac savvy.

I recently just downloaded the 'Waze' app as a backup for my Garmin. I've read a few reviews that seem to rant and rave about how good the GPS app is. It is community driven and maps are constantly being updated by users. Plus it has a few other fun stuff in it (something similar to Gasbuddy where you can owe prices on the map). But like the person above me said, there is lots of useful free GPS apps in the App Store.
Oh and I may be wrong but I remember reading an article about Google being slower about updating its maps system--ie no turn by turn voice, which many people have had complaints about.

I'm using LR 5.7.1 on a Mac.
When I've retouched raw pictures with PS CC (and do not need the PSD file any longer) I export the PSD (that is in my catalog) as JPG and let it add to my catalog automatically. After that I delete the PSD file. That works fine.
But .... the new JPG file is not assigned to any collection. That's no problem unless I forget to do it manually after that export (and import).
That brings me to my question.
How can I find photos that are not assigned to any collection?
I tried it with a smart collection after I found nothing suitable in library filter. The search criteria I tried are Source -> Collection with any of the conditions. One with an empty value field, then with just a space and so on.
Has anybody a good hint for me?

You can also add numbers if you have collections that don't use alphabet characters.

Field that is not visible in my editing screen but showing in web preview. How to remove it?

Hi Support,
When I preview my form in web preview, I am seeing a field that is not visible in my editing screen. It starts at the left margin of the web preview and runs off the edge of the right side of the page.
The form is also crashing when I attempt 'page view' or 'save as pdf' and I believe this phantom field is the culprit. I have spent considerable time on the form and do not want to recreate from scratch.
Can you please advise how I can make this field visible in the editing section so that I can permanently delete it?
Further information:
I do not have any rules set for any of my fields
I have tried to remove it in Chrome, IE and Firefox
My cache has been cleared today
My plug-ins and flash player are all current versions (updated today and performed a restart)

I have several programs that are not downloaded from the Mac App store. They are Pro Tools Express and PrintMusic 2011. Will they be compatible with OS X Maverick?

You should check with the vendors to see their position. Do they have updates for compatiblity?
If Mavericks finds apps that are significantly incompatible you will see a message stating it is such. But, it's best to go to the sites for app you care about first.

There is no de-authorize process for Lightroom. Just download the latest version and use your License key to authorize on the new computer.

You use the delivery completed indicator when there is no further GR is expected but possible...So now when when you wanna close the STO as you don't want any furhter GR, GI for same, then in that case you can use the indicator....
Whenever you do GR for STO later...the delivery completed indicator get auto unticked...
