Use tcode S_ALR_87003642. On this Tcode, you will identify which period to close/open and in what account will this appy, (Asset, GL, customer, vendor, etc)

Tcode is ob52
here we generally provide the following details
a/c type from a/c to a/c from period year to period year from period year to period
+ 1 2007 12 2007 13 2007 16
+ implies it applicable to all account types
generally we can have maximum 4 special periods and total no of periods(normal+special) should not exceed 16
generally we use special periods for year end adjustments like tax adjustments
if it is useful assign me points

Hi,
To open the MM period every month, you can schedule the batch job in background.
Use transaction code SM36 and the program name for this transaction code is RMMMPERI.
Use dynamic selection for the date, where u can give the date as a first day of next month and schedule the job for the last day of every month.
It is working fine in my system

Opening and closing Posting Periods in New GL

Can anyone tell me how to open and close postings periods for leading and non leading ledgers if new gl accounting is active in the system.Is it through OB52 or some other codes.

Open and close periods is specific to A+ / Asset / Customers / Vendors / Material / General ledger accounts only.
Non-leading ledgers can have different fiscal year variants and different posting period variants per company code to the leading ledger of this company code
I am not sure on leading ledgers

How to close an open PO of partial GR and release procedure

Hi friends,
I would like to know how to close an open PO where partial GR has done on it and release procedure exists for that particular PO.
I would also like to know if Invoice is not done for a PO and GR is done, then can we call it as open PO?

It is always best to use File > Exit 
That will close all open windows, so if there are still other windows open then these won't close if you use the close X on the title bar.
Also make sure that you do not have security software that is locking files in the Firefox program folder.

When I change the row heights in a spreadsheet, then save, close, and open it, the row heights are back to default. How can I prevent this?

One of our reports has lots of text in some rows. I import the data, adjust the row width and ask the text to wrap, which automatically sets the row height appropriately. When I save, close, and open that spreadsheet, the width is still the same and Wrap is still selected, but the rows are only one line high, which means that the report is unreadable and a serious pain to make readable.
I can save it as a PDF, but I'd rather be able to use the Numbers format or Excel and be confident that my recipients can read it.

I'm unable to reproduce the described behaviour.
The document containing the table below has a combination of row heights set manually using teh stepper in the Table Inspector (both 0.76" labeled rows), set manually by dragging the row boundary between row reference tabs (labeled 1/13"), and set automatically by Numbers to fit the content of the remaining cells.
Content in the rows with names beginning E, F, G or H wraps automatically to form two rows in the cell. The rest are forced into two lines using a carriage return character.
All maiintained their row heights through two Saves and reopenings.

For opening posting period April08-March 09 what to do?
Posting varient is created for current posting period,now for new posting period is it so to create new varient ?
& if new varient created then how to assign to company code as one current varient already assigned

You can have the same posting period variant.
Go to Tcode OB52 and give your open period and close period for normal posting periods
as well as
for special posting periods.

Eventually I got around it by adding the following line before re-opening the document: CmdUtils::ProcessScheduledCmds (ICommand::kLowestPriority); This forced InDesign to completely close the document before re-opening it again. I want to know HOW to CLOSE Multiple Open Apps at ONCE. If I have many apps going at one time and want to stop fast, surely there is a way to hit like(alt-F4 in Windows) and BAM! They all go down. I need a feature like that...

Alt+F4 in Windows only closes the active program.
Command+Q does the same thing for Mac. Just keep hitting that key combo untill all are closed.

Illustrator extension persistence between close and open again

I'm creating a extension in eclipse that redirect the panel to one web where I login and i've the possibility to login and remember the user.
All works fine but if I close illustrator and open again, I think that it doesn't save this information and I must login again.
I'm using windows 8 and chrome as default browser.
It's something about cookies configuration?. In chrone are activated.
How can I activate persistence of the variables from my extension between close and open illustrator? It is a web app.

I bought a new processor and motherboard, here in Brazil, how we are third world, I chosen an Athlon X2 4200+ and Abit AN52 then I will buy a DDR2 instead of replace the broken memory DDR1. I believe that solve now.
