    I had 41 tabs open in about six groups over the last year and a half and I just close them and exited Firefox. Is there any way to get them back?
    Also, is there any way to save a group or an open session and then restore it later?

    History menu, if it was destroyed in the last session
    then use "Restore Previous session:" and then restore all windows also from the history menu.
    If done in this session try the restore all windows under the history menu.

  • How do I connect and detect a high frquency pulse (0-3500hz) with a variable pulse voltage (0v low,5-10v high), on a SC-2345 connected to a PCI-6224?

    How do I connect and detect a high frquency pulse (0-3500hz) with a variable pulse voltage (0v low,5-10v high),  on a SC-2345 connected to a PCI-6224?  Labview doesn't generate a waveform if I try to graph the signal, and my analog input doesn'y recognize that the signal is even pulsing, only that it has a voltage.  Some advice would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Garrett

    Hi Garrett,
    It sounds like you want to do Frequency Measurements of a signal that is somewhat digital.
    There are two ways you can really do this:
    Wire your signal to the counter input and use the Digital Frequency examples (Help > Find Examples > Browse > Hardware Input and Output > DAQmx > Counter Measurements > Digital Frequency)
    Continue taking analog measurements and use some sort of logic to determine where you are getting rising and falling edges.
    I would recommend doing method #1, but you must determine which one is the best for your system.
    If you want to connect to the counter pins then you will find the
    terminals located on the side of your SC-2345.  If you don't need
    to condition your signals then simply wire everything into the proper
    pins for your counter (below).

  • How to close connection iBATIS

    hi ,
    we are using iBATIS for our application.Alhough iBATIS closes its connection on its own ,still we have certain open connection from our application which is causing issues while running the application.we are able to make connection using JDBC with Oracle thin driver in iBATIS but while establishing connection using JNDI and connection pooling it keeps connection open in database and sometimes gives out of memory error as connections are not getting closed properly.
    SqlMapConfig.xml we are using for JNDI is :
    <transactionManager type="JDBC">
    <dataSource type="JNDI">
    <property name="DataSource" value="jdbc/DataSource_Dpps" />
    <property name="JDBC.DefaultAutoCommit" value="true" />
    <property name="DefaultAutoCommit" value="true" />
    <property name="SetAutoCommitAllowed" value="true" />
    </dataSource>
    </transactionManager>
    Can any one suggest how to overcome this issue and how to close the connection in iBATIS explicitly while using JNDI and how to specify connection pool size(if any) .
    Regards,
    Anika

    TopLink and iBATIS are generally alternative solutions. Since you are posting on a TopLink forum the best I can suggest is that you consider replacing your usage of iBATIS with TopLink.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/index.html
    Besides that I would recommend filing a bug or starting a discussion on the iBATIS forum.

  • How to close appstore and camera ?

    how to close them from processes and what is the processes that usually work in system monitor ??
    it was mail also running but after i delete the iclould account it gone ...
    plz help ...

    Thank you for that link. I bought two tutorial programs for Iphone 4 and that's where I saw that it was adviced to close Safari and other Apps entirely as they were running in the background and in doing so were wearing down on the battery.
    As far as I understand the link you went me Safari and other Apps are kind of closed once I have clicked the Home button so that should be OK.
    However, when I opened a radio program it did not seem to be possible for me to close it down even though I was using the Home button. The music kept playing which of course many times would be great however I would like to know how to close a program when I do not want to use it any more.

  • How to close Safari and Apps entirely?

    I recently got Iphone 4 and have been reading through the manual where I noticed that Safari and other programs are still running in the background if I do not close the programs entirely. I thought all programs were closed once I clicked the 'home' button and opened another program.
    I am not sure exactly how to close Safari or the App programs so I would be grateful to learn about how to do that.
    Thank you.

    The modem works also as router. The document you have linked to suggests that the modem uses 192.168.0.1 as IP address. If this is the case you just have to setup the modem as described in the document. Then connect a computer to the modem LAN port and verify that you have an internet connection.
    After that you have two options:
    * connect the internet port of the router as it is to the LAN port of the modem. This should be enough to get internet from the LAN side of the WRT. The WRT will get an IP address from the modem on the internet port and the WRT uses 192.168.1.* on its LAN side thus there should be no IP address conflicts and it should work immediately.
    * setup the WRT as wireless access point as described in this post.
    Don't forget to setup wireless security on the router...

  • How to remove connect and workbook link after pressing Save as,Print,Export

    I have to remove the connect link and workbook link which appear AFTER pressing Save as,Printable Page,Export in a discoverer viewer report. I had already removed the link in the report itself with changing the uix files, but after pushing the link for export, save as or print the link Connect and Workbook still appear.
    I know that I have to change something in UIX Files, but which one and what I have to change...? Have anyone an idea? Thanx for fast reply, it´s a urgent problem.
    in addition: In metalink,otn and google were no solution...

    If the tone really is a single (or at least narrow band) frequency like the picture shows, I'd try the Notch Filter on the Audition/Effects/Filter and EQ menu.  It might take some playing around to get the exact frequency and tweak the amount of cut you apply vs. the effect it will have on surrounding frequencies--but if you can get the right balance, you can then easily apply this to the whole of every file.
    Sorry, can't help on the Premiere Pro question since I only use Audition.

  • How to close connection to GraphicsEnvironment / x-server

    Hello all.
    I have a long-running terminal-application which has a command to bring up a (swing) gui to monitor current execution state. The gui can be closed but the application will keep running.
    This application is running on a remote server, and I am running it from my local machine through ssh. (All of this is happening on Linux)
    Now, in order to be able to close the ssh connection without having to exit the running application I am using a software called screen that allows me to detach the process from the terminal. I can then logout from the ssh session without killing the process. Unfortunately this only works until opening the GUI, because once I did that the ssh connection cannot be closed anymore without exiting the application.
    Note that even closing the GUI (i.e. calling dispose on the JFrame that carries it) does not help. After some trying around I found that as soon as I instantiate any gui components - without even showing them at all - the problem occurs. E.g. the code below reproduces the problem.
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class Main
         public static void main(String[] args)
              new JPanel();  // commenting this out stops the issue from reproducing.
              while(true)
                   // This is where the application is still doing stuff. I have closed the gui, and want to log off now.
                   Thread.yield();
    }I discussed this on LinuxQuestions.org and you can find the link to the thread below. It also contains additional background information on my question.
    http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=4894628#post4894628
    Based on this discussion my current assumption is that as soon as any swing components are instantiated the class sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment comes in and starts to make a connection to the X-Window server. The main reason why I believe that it's that particular class is that I am getting the following exception when I try to run the above code without enabling x11 fowarding in the ssh connection.

    I think that in order to be able to close the running ssh connection gracefully (i.e. without killing my application in the process) I have to find a way to close this connection to the X-Window server in the java application.
    Could anybody enlighten me how to tell the JVM to cut the connection to the x-server? Or, obviously, let me know if I am on the wrong track :-)
    Many thanks in advance either way.

    The OS level timeout (tcp_ip_abort_cinterval on Solaris) is applicable to this situation. It is set to "180000" (3 minutes) by default e.g.
    bash-3.00# ndd -get /dev/tcp tcp_ip_abort_cinterval
    180000
    Is there any way to shorten the default time out ?( I mean to connect the second server faster if the first one failed.)Try changing the OS level parameter.
    If there is only a particular IP address causing the problem, you may want to make use the IP_ACCESS mapping table and the $I flag to skip over this IP address:
