I am a student and I have had a subscription to Lightroom and PHotoshop. I received the softward as a gift and I am trying to download it now. I am being asked to close photoshop CC. How do I do this. Do I need to cancel my subscription in order to download the software?

Please try this step to fix the issue.
For windows :
Please launch Task Manager and go to processes tab and close Photoshop.
For Mac:
Launch Activity Monitor and quit Photoshop application.

Use the menu option File>Save As. When you close photoshop, it should have asked you if you want to save the file. If photoshop does not ask you and refuses to close, odds are something else is wrong.
First try resetting the preferences. (ctrl-alt-shift for windows and cmd-opt-shift for mac as you start photoshop) If done right it will ask you if you want to reset the preferences.
Next thing to do is uninstalling then reinstalling photoshop.
If that still does not help, then it may be time to contact Adobe.

I've been a Fireworks user for over 10 years and just switched to Photoshop. I cannot find a setting that will enable all my file windows to reopen when I quit Photoshop. This is really a problem since I often work on several files at the same time.
Please let me know if the feature exists or point me to where I can post a message for a new feature to be implemented. The feature is a must for any designer working on large projects.

There is no such functionality. You could perhaps create a script that stores that info in a custom text file and arranges them accordingly in the workspace, but that's as good as it gets...

How to reinstall photoshop CC. My computer close down under installation, so all files are not installed, but AAM shows that the program is installed, but thats not right. I also tried to intall from photoshop.exe, and get the message, that some files are missing.

Yes, that was what happen. My computer shut down under the installation and therefore are missing some of the files needed.
The download was finish, so I properly can extract the files after cleaning. Do you know where the file to extract are located or is that one deleted when the process start?

How can I close Photoshop Elements (10) Editor?

I try to close Photoshop Elements but it no longer is Elements, it is Editor and Finder appears with the error message. But the rest of the menu lists as Elements and error message appear with the number 719 next to Editor. I hope I am explaining the problem and hope you can help me.

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

How Do I Close Photoshop Window

When I launch a raw file and decide to cancel and return to Bridge as my main screen, my main machine just closes Photoshop. With my laptop, when I cancel a raw image, the blank Photoshop window stays open, and I have to close it manually. What preference can I set so that the Photoshop window closes automatically. I've looked all over but can't find it.

You seem confused, station_two. Bridge never hosts Photoshop. Bridge may invoke Photoshop, though, as correctly stated by Phoenix89MR. How to close extended classic PO in ECC...

We are in SRM 7.02 and ECC 6.05 in Extended Classic Scenario. One PO had been created for 1 Quantity 3 years ago. There was no GR/IR document posted against that PO. Now that PO had been archieved from SRM. But still PO is available in ECC with open quantity and also its appearing in the open PO report. Now requester wanted, the PO to be closed in ECC and shouldnot appear in the open PO list.
How to handle this situation.. How to close the extended classic PO in ECC at this scenario. As PO not available in SRM, we can not do anything from SRM side.

After the update I don't know how to close running apps? I recall double clicking the main button then hold one app until they begin a jiggling motion. But that no longer works.

You still double tap the home button and the apps are lined up across the screen. Swipe up on the app preview thumbnail - drag it up off of the screen - and that will close the app.

That's what I was trying, but I guess I was doing so to quickly. Once I slowed down they finally moved. Now ... if the former Apps wouldn't crash I'd be all set, ROFL. Going to be a learning curve for the developers as well I think.
