How to close sliding pages and beginner help plz

When I swiped I have every page in my history coming up I'm not wanting a bunch of pages & apps running in background how do I close everything ?

Press the Home button once to return to the Home screen. From the Home screen press the Home button twice to raise the Dock/Launch Bar and reveal all apps that have been opened. Tap & hold one app's icon until they all start jiggling and the appears in the upper left coner. Tap the to close apps.

Thanks for the trouble to reply. this problem only happens with Pages and Numbers for me. i have done all the tricks like restarting. the main problem is that the working space is not 'stable' - it has no 'ends' even on full screen. in Numbers - UNLESS I SET IT TO 25% VIEW (which is way too small) - the actual total 'work space' is way off the grid - so every time i move the mouse the table i am working on zooms off to left or right, at the slightest touch. i have set my mouse to no gestures!
the thing is this did not happen before the latest upgrades.

if you are a techy person - i have another prob. in Mail i am unable to set the SORT / VIEW messages to BY DATE.
(it used to be ok, at one time, too). now it continually reverts to BY SUBJECT oh so annoying !
restarting etc does not change it. resetting preferences does not change it.
maybe i need a new Mac ?

Try resetting (rebooting) the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything and sometimes solves mysterious problems.

Just re-set the App -
Open the App
Hold down the power button until the slider appears
Hold down the home button (Don't use the slider) Until the App Closes
You might lose your place, but shouldnt be too hard to find it again...

select search help
give the 'z' search help name and create
select the selection method ur table name eg : 'mara'
dialog module 'display value immediately'.
add the field whatever u want and lpos = 1 and spos = 1 and check import and export parameter.
where left position when displaying and spos = search position
and then save and activate ..

I have 2 pages up I can't see how to exit one page and still have the other page up I have to close an re click on the icon

I do not see a way to close one page. I may have 3or4 different pages up but I cannot close one page with out having to close fire fox entirely. I have to go back to your icon and start all over. Thanks Dave In Austin Texas

I have a requirement to close OA page when the user clicks on Submit_Button(save) on the same page. But we have a logic in CO(processFormRequest) to do some actions when the user clicks on Submit_Button, so I want to close the OA page once those actions completed in Submit_Button(save) logic. How can I achieve this requirement, please help me.

First of all thanks to Shree to respond to my question.
I didnt try as you suggest bcz I think it will not work to my requirement. But I have tried your solution directly in the Save button logic but it is not working.
Let me explain my entire requirement:
I have one search page, in that we have Notes column with notes image in Search Results.
When the user clicks on that Notes Image, it is going to open one new page.
In that new page we have one Textbox(MessageTextInput), One Save(Submitbutton), Cancel(Button).
User will type some notes in the Textbox and then he will click on Save then the data gets saved into particular table column and user will click cancel button to close that page.
Then user will click on Apply button in the main page then there are some actions going to perform.
Now user wants to close that page when user clicks on Save button after entering the notes in Text box.
I have tried following coding in Save button logic.. at the end of the save button logic

How to submit a page and set the focus on the next field?

I have a form with some fields and below this a report with a column link. If I change values in the form fields and I click the on a column link the changes in the fields are lost because the page is not submitted.
I try this: I set on the fields in HTML Form Element Attributes the following:
onchange="doSubmit('AENDERUNG_UEBERNEHMEN');"
And I create a branch to the same page. This works great, I dont lost the changes in the fields and I can use the column links.
But: If I want to walk through the form with the key "TAB" I have to press the key 2 times to come to the next field.
How can I submit the page and go to the next field?

how about submitting the page when the column link in the report is clicked. To do this, create a column link with an URL target and specify a target like
javascript:doSubmit('#ID#_AENDERUNG_UEBERNEHMEN').After that I would create a process, that checks if
substr(:REQUEST,instr(:REQUEST,'_')+1) (or something like that)
equals 'AENDERUNG_UEBERNEHMEN'. If so, save the change, set the PK value of your target page to
substr(:REQUEST,1,instr(:REQUEST,'_')) (to extract the ID)
Afterwards, create a branch that jumps to the target page.
