I want to know how to communicate , " by passing a string " between LabView 7.1 and VB 6.0 using tcp/ip . Please if anyone couild help me on this..

I've got great news for you! LabVIEW has built in TCP functions. They are located in Data Communication>>Protocols>>TCP. From the LabVIEW side, I think you'll find everything you need in there. Good luck!

As you can see, you simply pass the image reference and the Array of Matches to the VI along with the String you want to have as an overlay next to the Match.
I also modified your VI a bit, but didn't test it. I created an Array of clusters, each elment containing the template path along with the respective text.
Please note that this is just a hint!

Is there any incompatibility between Labview 8.5 and Traditional DAQ?
Hi, I`m using a DAQPad 6020E and the Labview 8.5 Daq assistant don`t detecte my DAQ when a try to create a new task (to create a new virtual chanel). But MAX detect the DaqPad. So, is ther any incompatibility between Labview 8.5 and traditional Daq? Do you know how can I resolve this?
Thanks.First, you posted to the wrong board. Measure is an old add-on for Excel.
Second, there is no incompatibility between LabVIEW 8.5 and tradtional DAQ. There is an incompatibility between traditional DAQ and DAQmx which is what the DAQ Assistant uses. Make sure that you install DAQmx if your device is supported by it. Otherwise, you will not be able to use the DAQ Assistant. -

I think you can just delete it in the sales order directly, if you are using make-to-order scenario, then there will be special stock left for the sales order as the production has been goods receipt, you need to use MM transaction move the stock to unrestricted use stock. If you are using make-to-stock scenario, there should be no further problem. If you are using assembly order, please try to reject the sales order item to see if it could fullfill your requirement.

Sorry to reopen an old post, but I've just purchased a 2nd hand late-2013 iMac (or so thats what the seller said).
I'm always sceptical though, and just wanted to know if there is a way to check if my iMac is indeed the late-2013 model that included Haswell?
I've attached screenshots of the About This Mac section hoping it may help shed some light.

How do you sync contacts between an iPhone 5 and a MacBook Pro, using OS X 10.9.2 and iTunes 11.1.5 without using iCloud?
I do NOT trust iCloud because it duplicated by contact book 4 to 5 times and blew up my records.
Lately I realized that my Contact Book contacts are not updated and having lesser records, and did a check. There are a lot of missing contacts, despite Synching.
I sync iPhone 5s (and iPhone 5) to Mac Contacts and I do NOT use CLOUD. Now it seems that it forces me to use CLOUD.
I don't want to use CLOUD because of the BAD experience.
I just realized that I cannot sync my iPhone 5s (&5) Contacts with Mac Contacts anymore, there is no even a button for Contacts on iTunes.
This is RIDICULOUS... Screw around someone, this company is doomed. -
If I completely fill my hard drive 500Gb how time machine will keep working having 1Tb of total space [externak hard drive], I mean I have to delete my hard drive but how I keep my previous information on time machine and keep using it with new information?
Time Machine does not provide archival storage.
If you delete a file from your disk it will eventually be deleted from your TM backup without any notice to you.
You need a second external disk to use for archival storage.
You also need a third disk for backups of the second disk. -

Best way to move date between LabVIEW 7.1 and 2010
We have a large LabVIEW based control and data acquisition system that for reasons beyond the scope of this post is at and needs to stay at LabVIEW version 7.1 for the forseeable future... We are soon to add a camera diagnostic to this system that, again for reasons beyond the scope of this post, needs to be written in LabVIEW 2010... The 2010 piece of code will run and need to receive some information such as shot number, when to trigger, etc. from the 7.1 side of the system... Then after a shot has occurred and a camera image has been acquired, the 2010 code will do some on the fly processing of this image and within a few seconds will need to send back some results data to the 7.1 side...
The 7.1 code uses a tag engine approach to sharing data among different codes running on different machines... I think now that more modern versions of LabVIEW use a shared variable approach... But I need to communicate as I've described above between the two versions, 7.1 and 2010 (or it could be 2011 if that would offer some advantage)...
I'm new at this moving of data between versions like this so if something could offer some advice, especially if there is some tutorial information on this topic, that would be much appreciated... Thanks in advance for any help that you might be able to offer... thanks... bob...It really depends if your tag engine like communication approach is a home brown solution or something like the LabVIEW DSC engine. If homebrown and well written you should be able to reuse the client library part of it in newer LabVIEW versions without to many hassles. If it is LabVIEW DSC it may be a bit more complicated since the only means to share DSC tags in version 7.1 was as far as I can remember their proprietary TCP/IP tag interface, which was replaced in newer versions with he shared variable engine.
