How to concanete two text fields into One in Report?

Hii,
I have used two charactersitics - ZLTEXT1 and ZLTEXT2 which is an attribute of Master - Zobject.The character length of ZLtext1 and ZLtext2 are 60.Both these objects carry long text description entered in R/3 which is off 100 characters and i have extracted in BW using two infoobjects.How do i concatenate both these objects in report so that the text description gives a meaning.

I Am working on a project of restoring a macbook pro from old parts that I found. It works!!! But the HDD that i salvadged is ancient and gets about .15 MBPS. Not good. Its an apple certified and apple branded toshiba HDD-500G at 5400RPM. Yeah. *****
I am considering buying a new hard drive as a 480GB SSD, and using OWC's Data doubler, adding a second HDD, for all the photos and vids i will be collecting through my work in video and photo. I am considering getting an SSHD (SSD+HDD in an SSD form factor) and using this as the second drive. its not much more expensive (like 10$ more) and itgetsme semi-SSD like performance on a mass scale of storage.
HOw can I combine these two drives into ONE partition? 480GB will take awhile to fill up, but this is a future proof wall to use.
I Will eventually invest in an external storage option (2-3 HDDS in one caddy for backups and storing 1080p video all under one roof. depends if the board im using actually has thunderbolt or usb that is fast enough-because of the crappy hdd i cant get it to boot into an OS or go through usb recovery without it freezing. I ahve tried re-applying thermal paste, still doesnt help)
HOw can i easily partition these two drives into one?
also, my friend needs a new HDD because bootup times in his macbook pro are at like 2 mins+ and hes running Core 2 Duo, with 8 G ram and 10.9 (Mav) should i recommend an SSHD or an ssd. (He doesnt want an HDD, hes had bad 'voodoo' with em'. Thanks!

To Join two SAP fields into one info object

Hi All,
Can you please suggest the best method to concatenate values from two R/3 fields into one info object master data table?
The requirement is to create a Sales report where I need to report on sales against sales type.
Sales type is a list of joint values of item category ( 0ITEM_CATEG) and bill type (0BILL_TYPE).
So, I need a list of all item categories and billing types in a single object and report sales value against it.
Please suggest.

Hi Venkat,
In DSO any case you will not be having more than 16 Keys. I am surprised seeing requirement of more than 16 keys, but anyways you need to go with some workaround.
You can concatenate multiple Fields and map to one Dummy InfoObject which will be Key in DSO so in actual you have more than 16 Keys but have 16 Keys in system.
But analyze requirement in detail because this will increase data redundancy and time for load will get increased.
Also for new issues start new discussion otherwise people will not able to help you in this forum.

If I convert directly it gives dump.
If I convert this to Numeric means it takes the decimals also as whole value.

I am on an SRM sytem, which unfortunately does not have th FM: PSSV_TEXT_INTO_FIELD_CURRENCY.
But I also need to transfer a string value like '12,99' to a field with type curr.
Can i Do that manually, or is there another FM?
I have already checked code with write to or pack/unpack.
But without success yet.
Something like this:
DATA: g_str(11) type c.
DATA: g_p type p.
WRITE '12,99' TO g_str CURRENCY 'EUR'.
is no use for me. Finally I need to move g_str to my curr-field, which causes st22.
also: PACK g_str to <curr-field or g_p> dumps.
Help appreciated.

I am trying to create a form on adobe and I would like to have two unique text fields on the same line. Is this posible?

If you are using FormsCentral it is, the fields can be placed "side by side" in a row. There is a "+" sign on the right side of the field that brings up a toolbar to add a field adjacent. You can also right click on a field and select "Insert beside", or you can "drag and drop" fields next to one another or to a new row.

PS - One note, if you are using the "desktop" application of FormsCentral that comes with Acroat Pro XI make sure the application is up to date by either using the "Help" - "Check for updates" menu item or by signing into the application so that you have the latest features including the side by side layout.

How to combine two text fields from two lines to extend text.

I am working on a form to enter property descriptions sometimes it takes one and a half lines of text. Is there a way to force the first line of text to continue onto the next text field on the next line with out having to tab? I was wondering if there was something like a text overflow to the next field. An example is I might have two words in the middle of the second line and a field on both sides. I just want the top to connect to the first next line field. pcwp55

This must be the day after Christmas or something Crazy people like me are still working. Okay -- I figured it out. Add a table with a single row and two columns, then insert a text field in each one, making it side-by-side. The trick is to make sure it is within the subform, and you must select the row and make sure to check "Allow Page Breaks within Content" on that row, because it isn't a default. It works. Adobe Acrobat XI for mac, how to reverse pages in a pdf file and how to collate two pdf files into one

I scanned some large documents, which were two sided. Because they were printed on glossy paper, I could not scan the pages double sided. So I made two files, one file containing all the even pages and one file containing all the odd pages. Now I have two problems: 1. the pages in the even pages file are in the reversed order, so I need to reverse the order of all the pages in this file. Then I need to combine these two files (collate) so that all the odd and even pages are combined into one single file and all the pages are in the correct order.
In older acrobat pro programs (windows) I found a javascript file that could fix all this. However now I have Acrobat XI and I have a macbook pro, so now I'm completely lost. Can anyone help me with this problem?

If you have a script that does it then you should use it... Open the console and run this command:
app.getPath("app", "javascript");
It will print out the location you need to use for the .js file you have. Then restart Acrobat and you should be good to go.

How can I merge 3 or more individual text fields into an editable summary text field?

I am stuck and do not know where to begin. I am self taught in using Adobe LiveCycle and have found many answers here in the forums and via trial and error.
I cannot find or create the correct java script or form calc to feed multiple text fields into one text field. My supervisor is asking me to do this for two sections of a form I created using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2.
1) Merge all 3 user entered text fields to an user editable summary text field at the end of the form.
2) Merge all 24 user entered text fields to an user editable summary text field at the end of the form.
Since they are all individual text fields in response to various questions, I cannot use the global binding function. I do not want the summary text field to override the individual text fields.
Here is the java scripting I placed on Show: calculate* Language: javascript Run: at client

2 Form Fields into one DB Entry

I apologize in advance if this question has been asked and answered multiple times. I am new to this and extremely frustrated because I keep getting stuck.
I am using Dreamweaver to create a website with Coldfusion as the server. I am using Quickbooks and QODBC to use the DB to integrate with CF.
I have created a form with multiple fields all text entries. I have been able to get all the information to post into my database correctly. However my question is I want to create a multiple entry that would combine two form fields into one column in the database table. For instance I have First Name and Last Name as form fields when the user submits I want these to both enter into their respective columns in the table but also combine into one entry with format Last Name, First Name into a FULL NAME Column in the table. Is this possible if so how????? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know how to merge two PDF files into one with Adobe Reader. Is it even possible?

If you've got a Mac and OSX you can do this in Preview. Make sure you can see the sidebar with the first PDF opened, and then drag the second PDF to the bottom of the last page in the sidebar. Also you can reduce the size of your saved file by selecting (or making) a Quartz filter to 'reduce file size'
