How to configure Web service using transaction SOAMANAGER?
Hi SDN,
I have followed this article to configure using transation SOAMANAGER.
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/20b723f8-a422-2c10-aca5-fe64eeda1ff2&overridelayout=true
but I have some issues about looking for ECC_PURCHASEORDER003QR in default_host/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap of above article.
I can not configure Web service and go to steps further.
The system is ECC 6.0 release 7.
How can be done?
Thanks,
Luu,Hi,
> but I have some issues about looking for ECC_PURCHASEORDER003QR
You mean you can't see this service in sicf or you have trouble locating this service in SICF. Can you specify what exactly your problem is?
Please check if you are on correct Ehp (Enhancement pack) required for this service. This service available with Ehp4.
To check enhancement pack goto System->status and check component information i.e. SAP_APPL release is 603 in my system which means I am on Ehp3.

hi
experts,
could you please tell me, like i have a scenario, one of my cleint has sap and he has got another mobile computing software(non SAP) at depot place, where in whatever transactions happens, for example stock despatches , receipts, it goes to back ofice of mobile software company.
the thing is mobile software computing data has to update the data in to sap, and it should be online.
some body says that web serices might help. please help me out with necessary configuration.Hello,
If your non-SAP application can act as a web service client, web service is a perfect approach post Goods Receipt in SAP. You may use web service ECC_GOODSMOVEMENTCRTRC or a suitable one from this link [http://esworkplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZkPW1pbg==)/render.asp?packageid=DE0426DD9B0249F19515001A64D3F462&id=87DFCFE1D9B911DA2B24000F20DAC9EF]
Once you select your web service, you can setup end points using SOAMANAGER and provide the WSDL to the client application to generate consumer proxy there.
Thanks,

How to configure web service destinations in CE 7.1 EhP1 sneak preview?

I have downloaded CE7.1 EhP1 sneak preview version from SDN.

Hi all,
can anyone help me with question on how to configure web services so that it'll be able to run all projects on the web made with JDeveloper suit. Actually it's a great product, works pretty stable in my case(I didn't see any bugs so far). I can even run all jsp and xml files through JDev facilities, but I could not find any information on how it is supposed to work on it's own. There must be something like service that will fire up JVM to work with servlets and jsp. Can I do it with JRun server? PLease help me...The servlet's and JSP's that you develop (and debug) from within JDeveloper will work in any web server supporting servlets and JSP's, respectively.
For example, you could use the servlet engine support in:[list][*]Oracle IAS 1.x[*]Apache JServ[*]Oracle8i 8.1.7 ("Oracle Servlet Engine" - OSE)[*]JRun, with any of the web server listeners that it supports[*]Jakarta Tomcat[*]ServletExec from NewAtlanta[*]etc.[list]
Most of the above support JSP's as well. -

Hi,
I need to configure different windows services alerts in SCOM 2012. Below are some of the windows services I need to monitor through SCOM.
Serivce: Windows Management Instrumentation
Service: Netlogon
Service: Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
Service: Server Service
Service: Terminal Services
Service: Windows Time
Service: Workstation
Service : WWW Publishing Service
Could some one please assist or share me the details, how to configure these services for windows agent servers.
Thanks..
Regards, Rajeev ParambilHi,
A certain set of services are monitored by default on all agents:
DNS Client
DHCP Client
RPC
Workstation
Server
For all the other services you could create a service monitor.
A nice blog series outlining this process can be found here: http://www.bictt.com/blogs/bictt.php/2011/03/16/scom-monitoring-a-service-part1
It's doing common things uncommonly well that brings succes. Check out my SCOM link blog:

How to develop web services in OSB using Eclipse OEPE
Hello,
We have some live web services developed in SOA ESB using JDeveloper.
We are now forced to migrate to OSB because of the reason that sometime next year ESB will be de-supported by Oracle.
I am looking for some good documentation which explains how to create web services in OSB using Eclipse. Please help.
I am installed Web logic + OEPE + OSB in my local machine already. All I need is to know how to start development.
Thanks,Hi,
You can start with this:

How to configure Mail Services in B1

Thanks & Regards
pankaj Sharma.Hi Pankaj Sharma,
The suggestion above would be a good solution to you. However, if you do not want to use this add-on, you may just configure SBO-Mailer to perform the task. You may check all available setting for the mailer and read through Administrator Guide for how to set it up.

How to update web service proxy in JDeveloper 10.1.3.0
hi all
I want to ask how to update web service proxy in JDeveloper 10.1.3.0?What do you mean update?
You can go into the source code and update whatever you want.
If you mean that the WS spec has changed - then you can either change the proxy manually, or create another proxy. -

Can you give some tip about how connect the web service ?The HTTP protocol obviously need to be used. Oracle provides a couple of HTTP client (web browser like) interfaces. Obviously there is no rendering engine/DOM in PL/SQL as this does not make much sense in a server side language. As a web service typically returns XML, that is not a problem as XML is something that servers need to deal with - and Oracle fully supports XML via SQL, PL/SQL and database structures.
A basic example of how to use the UTL_HTTP interface for interacting with a web service is in {message:id=4205205}. If you scroll up in that thread, you will also see more complex approaches of loading the web service WSDL and using that to make calls to the service - something that involves too many moving parts and Java unnecessarily. -

Tags edited by: Michael ApplebyThe XML Steps URL will be added to the Agentry.ini BaseURL. So you dont' need the full URL on the step.
So when Agentry Runs the step to call the backend it will go:
<BaseURL>/<Step's URL>
This way if you need to change the base URL, IE, going from Dev to QA to Production Server you only need to change the Base, and not go into every step and update it.
URL: This attribute contains the URL to which the Agentry Server will make a request. This value will be appended to the value configured as the base URL for the HTTP-XML system connection. This base URL is configured within the HTTP-XML system connection configuration options for the Agentry Server. Proper use of both this base URL option and the URL entered in the requests of the step definitions can support portability for the application, with the base URL being the implementation-specific portion and the step’s URL being the portion not likely to change for the same back end system from one implementation to the next.

For you question you want to get data from data base using web service connection. Here I can give you some suggestions
1.Write a web service to retrieve data from data base, then use Xcelsius u201Cweb service connectionu201D under u201CManage Connectionu201D section to consume the service and get the data from data base to spread sheet.
2.Xcelsius also provide you a tool to generate web service with easy way (without coding). (Suggested)
Using flynet, you can get flynet installation file under Xcelsius installation folder u201CXcelsius\Connectivity\Flynet Webservice Generatoru201D for more information about flynet please refer to
http://myxcelsius.com/2008/11/07/generating-web-services-for-xcelsius-using-flynet-web-service-generator/
Here is also a demo on how to use web service conneciton with Xcelsius + Flynet
