How to configure 2 different SSPRs?

Hi,
I'd like to configure 2 different SSPRs. One for Staff and one for Students.
I have installed SSPR onto 2 different servers, and Staff and Students have different URLs (for registration and reset).
Staff will be the typical Q&A; while Students will be the OTP route (with auto registration).
How do I configure the FIM Portal for 2 different scenarios, and make sure the right config is associated with the correct staff and student server & URL?

Unfortunately I don't see how Staff & Student could use the same 'anonymous' Reset Portal, for the following reasons:
Staff Reset Portal would invoke the Question & Answer activities.
Student Reset Portal would invoke the One-Time-Password activities.
There is no way of directing Staff or Student to the correct URL/Activity since the connection is anonymous.
They would be directed to another password reset gates after they would type their login. For example:
If you put DomainA\StaffUser1 in a login name on a screen, after clicking Next, you would have Q&A gate. If you put DomainB\Student30 in a login name, you would have mail-OTP activity. So you
can differ them on one password reset page.
Considering students don't know the domain - how would they log in to workstations without knowing it? If they would use "Domain\student" format - it would be accepted on reset page as well as
[email protected] - both of them are accepted. DefaultDomainName
would help here as students would not have to write domain name, but on password reset page you would still need typical "domain\user" input.

Hi,
Use an EVDRE to create your input schedule. You need to have one row with products and 2 columns with time and account. Choose the memberset options as per the requirement. For the accounts, is total calculated with a dimension formula? If yes, then you just need to enter the values for quantity and rate and send the data. The total will be calculated by the system and will be displayed automatically.

How to Configure 6 Different VAT rates in the System

I have a scenario here for VAT. My client wants this VAT rates to be in the sales.
S1      VAT N/A
S2      VAT 0%
S3     VAT 6%
S4     VAT 19%
S5     VAT within EU 0%
S6     VAT Export 0%
I have tried to maintain 6 condition types but the billing will not pick up due to there will also be 6 different tax rates in the customer master tax classification.
I have tried to make these rates with both options of tax exempt and dutiable so that if user decided on VAT 19% the rest of the rates should be zero and the end result should be VAT 19% is dutiable but at the billing header it seemed to take the first VAT rate which is VAT N/A which is a zero as it goes by the order 0,0,0,1,0 and 0.
Appreciate if someone can englighten me on other better workarounds or solutions. Can't think of any for now.

This can be done by using different tax codes.
Create different tax codes for all tax rates.
Create diffrent customer tax classification and material tax calssification.
Maintain condition records as follows
Plant region/Customer region/tax classification for customer/tax xlassification material.
Maintain records here and assign the tax code here.
Make sure your VAT condition category is D - taxes.

IAS 10.1.2-how to configure different oc4j listen to different virtualhost?

I have requirement,
we have oracle portal based web site that can be used by outside users over the internet.
And then we have are deploying few new apps/webservices/ear files on a oc4j called core_ws. These web services should not be accessed outside.
I have created a virtaul host in apache on a different port(7799) which was not exposed to public world.
But, how to configure core_ws to inform Apache to listen on only port 7799 but not on port 80?
I tried a diffent route to attack the problem(as mentioned below) which managmenet did not like:
created location directive, worked in dev but not in production as there ISA sitting front of apache.
We could apply filter on the URLs of these web services in ISA but my director did not like the idea as each time there is additional web service we have mess with it.
So, he prefers running these web services on a different port that will not have access to public.
Appreciate your help if have acheived the same earlier.

You said you were using 10.1.2, so that will work, its a method of creating separate virtualhosts and using rewrites to direct to error pages if an incorrect request is made. For 10.1.3, but there is a dynamic method which is a better approach.

You can try out like this: Using multiple receiver interfaces you can send it to multiple directories with the help of enhanced interface determination/conditions and with the help of multiple receiver communication channels.
Another option is to copy the file from one target directory into another directory with the help of Unix script by executing the same from the OS command level.
One more option is to create a Java Server Proxy and inside the proxy, you can write java code to FTP into different locations.

I am going to install solution manager system in the same server of ERP EHP4 on Windows. Both DB are oracle.
I'd like to know how to configure listener in this kind of envirnmonent.
a. use two listener and different ports
b. use same listener but different ports
c. use same listener and same port
Which is the correct mothed?
And, after installation, there seem three set of profiles of listten, one for ERP, one for SLM, and the other for OS?(%windir%system32), which one is functional?

Hi,
standard installation is creating new configs for listener for each instance.
I would recommend to use one listener per each instance.
YOU CAN NOT HAVE one port number for two differnet systems!
If you want to use one listener than you must adapt tnsnames.ora, listener.ora and ensure that both systems will use different port numbers.
For example PORT= 15<system number>

How to configure multiple IP addresses on one NIC?

I just installed a OVM Server in version 3.2.1 and the according VMManager. Now i wanted to try to configure the Server/Server Pool. Now i come across a problem, which was already a big problem in OVM 2 while configuring the Networks.
All our OVM Servers have three NICs in them. One is for VMs and Management, the others are for connection to our SAN (Dell PowerVault MD 3220i). My problem is, that due to the network setup, the two NICs for storage need two IP addresses in two different networks each. This shouldn't be a problem, because usually in linux all you have to do is configure something like eth1:1. I remember having huge trouble configuring it in our OVM 2 cluster up to the point where I had to write a shell script to configure the second IP.
Anyways, I have configured two of the storage networks on eth1 and eth2 of the VM Server. Now i cannot configure any more IP addresses, because eth1 and eth2 are not available anymore for configuration in a third network. I really hoped that it would be possible in OVM 3 to configure multiple IP addresses. And probably it is only my lack of knowledge of how to configure it.
So any advice is well appreciated.

You should be able to do this by using "VLAN Groups".

Check out the VLAN groups section. You must great the VLAN groups before you can assign them to interfaces.

Don't know which technology to utilize or how to configure ASA5505

I have an ASA5505. Currently, it is using static NAT on several ports to forward traffic to several devices inside my network. It is a pain not only to configure but from the end user side.
The issue I am having is the applicatoins I am using to access the devices become a mess with dual configurations, one for when I am connected to the internal network and one for when I am away from the office and accessing from the internet. For example, I have 2 Cisco VC240 IP Cameras behind the ASA5505. One is set use port 9091 and the other 9092. When I am inside the office, I access them via http://10.1.2.215:9091 and http://10.1.2.216:9092. But when I am away from the office, I have to have another configuration in an Android app to use them, http://external_ASA_IP:9091 and 9092 and then NAT 9091 to the object for Camera1 and 9092 for Camera2. This is only one scenario. I also have a UC320W that I would like to put an IP phone at home and it sounds like AnyConnect is the only way to do this.
It sounds like to me that if I use some type of VPN, I can access the same devices using the same IP whether internal or external with the external connection using the VPN to tunnel the IP to the local network. There seems to be quite a few ways to do this with an ASA 5505.
AnyConnect seems like the way to go but after reading Cisco documentation, it requires your Android device to be root'd if it is not a particular Samsung model. If I understand correctly, root'ing your phone voids the warranty. I know it is common practice but would think Cisco would have a better solution as I am sure Cisco would not want another manufacturer telling their customers to void the warranty on their Cisco equipment in order to get it to work.
I believe I can just use IPSEC and use the native VPN of the Android OS and also tunnel L2TP as the Android supports IPSEC-PSK/L2TP or IPSEC-CRT/L2TP. But will either of these will support the IP phone to the UC320W?
A friend also told me to use NginX to proxy URL's so the URL http://www.fqdn.com/camera1 gets proxy'd to the internal IP of Camera1 and http://www.fqdn.com/camera2 gets proxy'd to Camera2. He says I should be able to store a cookie on the phone and let the phone authenticate to the camera and if the phone cannot, the proxy can authenticate internally to the IP camera over SSL.
I don't know anymore, I am so confused and just want to simplify my life as I am just a small business with me and a couple other employees but I have full-time job and it is not IT/Network Technician, it is only CTO/CEO/CIO/CFO. I don't have hours upon hours to set this up and test and I don't have hours upon hours to manage it. I just need to simplify this and have so that it is a set-it-and-forget-it for 6 months to 1 year and re-evaluate or update. So, if someone suggests IPSEC, I would not know how to configure anyway and you should expect another post. The same for AnyConnect or any of the other suggestions.

Formula property:
nvl(:Block_Name.ITEM_1, 0) + nvl(:Block_Name.ITEM_2, 0) + nvl(:Block_Name.ITEM_3, 0) + nvl(:Block_Name.ITEM_4, 0)
OR
Function_Name(Param_1,... Param_N);
Have in view of, that the ITEM_5 data will not be saved in DataBase.
2. When-Validate-Item trigger is usfull when is necessary to store calculated item data in DataBase.
Rename you Post-Query trigger to When-Validate-Item.
Modify trigger: Store calculation result in the variable.
(Don't forget to round variable value!)
Then compare it with ITEM_5. If they are different - :ITEM_5 := var_name.
I prefer the first method.

How to use two different network cards on RT?

Hi everyone... I'm currently working on a project where I have to deal with the issue mentioned in the thread's topic: I have a PC with RT LabVIEW that has to be able to establish network connections using two different network cards. One will be used to connect via TCP/IP with a host computer that will show the data transmitted through shared variables; the other will communicate with another PC through Modbus protocol. The key is that each communication is done through a separate network card.
So far I haven't been able to figure out how to configure both things to happen. Does anyone know how to do this? Any tips will help.
For the RT communication I'm using a standard RT project, with the RT PC being given one of the IPs, and for the Modbus part, I created an I/O server with a master and a slave. Separately everything works fine, but when I get them together it simply won't work.

Sorry it took me so long to answer, I've been busy lately....I've found a solution to the problem I mentioned, and just in case anyone has similar problems in the future, I'll shortly describe what happened.
As Caseyw suggested, it was necessary to enable both network cards through the Measurement and Automation Explorer. The cause of the connections malfunction was actually that I wasn't using the "right" protocol for the Modbus communication, which ran on the secondary adapter. The solution was to use the URL protocol with the correct path on the field, addressing the right IP address. To avoid making this post a mixture of topics, I won't elaborate futher, but I got the gist of it, so if anyone is having similar problems whether it is working with several network cards or with Modbus communication protocols, feel free to contact me, I'll be glad to help.

How to configure ACS 5.2 for policy condition on TACACS+ Service

However, I found the behavior is different on our production environment. I found our ACS 5.2 was configured authorization rule with condition "TACACS+ Service" = "junos-exec". I don't know how to configure this on my ACS 5.2 Please guide me how to configure this.
I found there was NO TACACS+ "Authorization Request" when access via J-Web in our production SRX and ACS. However, there were TACACS+ "Authorzation Request" when access via J-Web in our production SRX and ACS. The difference between my lab ACS and production ACS is the authorization rule condition. In my condition, I configure with all "SRX" Device Type. but in our production ACS 5.2, it was configure to TACACS+ Service=junos-exec. so I like to test it in our lab to find out the difference. How to Configure two MX ( relay / Gateway servers) records in imta config file..? Our requiorement is to have two gateways defined ..for example "xyz.net" and "xyz.com". All emails destined to email addresses ending with ".net" should use the "xyz.net" gateway and rest of them should use the "xyz.com" gateway. and the configuration should be flexible enopugh to accomodate future additions to our gateways.

Well, To point the outside mail servers to your gateways just put MX entries for each domain into DNS and point dns to the correct host for that domain.
To make the mail server recognize the domain just create it in the ida and put the users under that domain. The users mailhost attribute will take care of letting the gateways know where to forward the mail so it will go to the correct host.
If you need to do domain aliasing with the same users for both domains that is a bit different. Do you need to do this?

How to configure oracle and ms-access db

I have a requirement to push data from the oracle to ms access. My oracle database is on the Unix server and ms access is on my local desktop. Is there a way to configure if so how to configure both the db? Basically I am wanted to make the ms access visible to oracle so that I can use the Heterogeneous package. Please let me know if there are any different ways.

Hi,
You could use the Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) to do this. It uses a third party ODBC driver to make the connection to MS-Access so the best option would be to install it on the Windows machine where Access is running and use the Microsoft Access driver.
Otherwise, you could install on Unix where Oracle is running but I don't think there is third party Access driver for Unix.

You should install the latest 11.2 DG4ODBC and this note has pointers to the download sites -

It looks like it is unable to load your XML files. Depending on how your configuration is laid out, you may want to list full path names in your extract file - we make use of the same technique in 11.5, which I would imagine isn't terribly different in this respect from 12.0. Our configuration is such that we run Gendata at one level, read an extract file in the deflib folder, and the input files are in an input folder, so each entry in the extract file is C:\fap\mstrres\sampco\input\input1.xml.
Not sure if that is analogous to your setup or not, but based on the errors, either it can't find the file, so it is a pathing issue, or the file contents are invalid.

Idoc Def :Standard SAP format for electronic data interchange between systems (Intermediate Document). Different message types (such as delivery confirmations or purchase orders) normally represent different specific formats, the IDoc types. However, multiple message types with related content can be assigned to one IDoc type: For example, the IDoc type ORDERS01 transfers the "logical" message types ORDERS (purchase order) and ORDRSP (order confirmation).
Idocs are of two types basic type and the extension type .we need to configure the system settings for this process .
IDOC (Intermediate Document) - A data holder.
IDOC is divided in to three parts.
Control Record
Data Record
Status Record
Control record (Table: EDIDC):
- Every IDOC has only one Control Record
- Each Control Record contains header information like:
o IDOC Number
o Direction of IDOC: Inbound or Outbound
o Date and Time of creation of IDOC
o Date and time when the IDOC was last modified.
o Message Type of IDOC
o IDOC type and extension of IDOC
o Sender and Receiver Partner
Data record (Table: EDID4):
- Data Record contains Data to be processed.
- Every IDOC has one data record with multiple segments in hierarchy.
- Segments and Hierarchy of Segments are defined by IDOC Type and Extension.
- IDOC created has to strictly follow the hierarchy; else IDOC fails with Syntax error.
- Segments which are repetitive have qualifiers attached to it
Status record (Table: EDIDS):
- Status Record describes the status of IDOC.
- Each IDOC contains one status Record with multiple status information.

§ WE42 Inbound Process Code
- Process codes are linked to a Function Module.
- Relationship is Message Type is linked to a Process Code which is linked to a Function Module.
- In case if you are using a stand alone code to trigger an IDOC, you need not define a process code.
RFC Destination: System definition of destination.
o Transaction Code: SM59
- RFC destination identifies the destination of IDOC.
- In case of ALE:
o In ALE the communication mode is IDOC to IDOC, hence the type used is R/3 Connections.
o It is the destination SAP system which will receive the IDOC.
o In RFC destination you define the destination SAP system details like System, Login and Password.
