How to configure Click-to-Run version of Outlook 2013 to run side-by-side with Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010
Hi, I am administering a cutover from Office Pro 2010 to Office Pro 2013 via our Office 365 E3 licenses. Before I start migrating mailboxes from our Exchange 2003 server to Exchange Online, I want to have our staff install Office Pro 2013 including Outlook
2013 so they can have time to review it before we switch to the Exchange Online server in a couple of days. I know Outlook 2013 is not compatible with our Exchange 2003 server but I was hoping to be able to setup Outlook 2013 to connect to my Office 365 email
address while keeping my msi installed version of Outlook 2010 for my Exchange 2003 email address.
I am trying to test the capability of Outlook 2013 running side-by-side with my Outlook 2010 program. I have the "Click-to-Run" version installed on my Windows 7 64-bit machine however when I try to open Outlook 2013, I get an error message: "Another
version of Outlook is currently running. Close it and try again."
In reading in TechNet and other sources, it clearly states that both programs can run simultaneously which is what I need to do
but obviously something is not configured correctly.
Can you please help me get this configuration running or let me know if it is in fact not possible?

Yes, it should be able to install side by side.
The versions of Office that you install must be the same edition. For example, both installations of Office are the 32-bit edition.
When you get the error
"Another version of Outlook is currently running. Close it and try again.", go to task manager and end all existing
outlook process.
If the issue persists, do a repair for your Office suites in Control panel>Program and features>Office>Change>Repair

How to configure Search for a site in sharepoint 2013?

1)I want to configure search so that I can search documents from previous month, quarterly, half year, year, and all documents is possible.
2)Search results are organized with most recent documents at the top.
3)Search results have year as refiner that can be used to show results only from specified year (In library we have field with year when document create)

How can I make the newest version of iTunes for Windows run faster?
I know I'm not the only one when I say that iTunes is by far one of the slowest programs on my computer. I'm running Windows 7 and running the most recent version of iTunes for Windows. Does anyone have some tips to make it run faster and smoother? I have Genius and Ping disabled, but I'm not quite sure what else I can do.
The newest version of iTunes should install if you are runnig 10.7.
Do you get any error messages?

How to configure a continuous pulse generation that doesn't end after the VI exits with DAQmx?

I'm just learning the DAQmx and I have run into a problem.
With the legacy DAQ API I could configure a counter to create continuous pulses and
when I needed change the freq or duty cycle, I would just call the the configuration function
again. The pulses were generated even after I closed LV, so it was all in the hardware.
Now, with DAQmx api, it seems that this is not possible. I read a forum post saying that
LV will end the pulse generation after the VI exits. Is there a workaround for this?
I could ofcourse create a LV thread for this, but I liked the old one better
It was simpler and I didn't need to worry about threads so much.
All LV operations are going to be inside a DLL that is called from outside of LV, so I can't
use LV threads in a simple way, e.g. putting things inside a while loop. Just that you'll
know why I wan't to avoid using the threads.
Thanks.It is possible to achieve this behavior using the DAQmx API by using the DAQmx Create Task VI to explicitly create the task (rather than relying on DAQmx Create Channel to do it implicitly) and setting the AutoCleanup attribute to False. This method prevents LabVIEW from automatically clearing the task when your VI (or the function you'll be exporting to your C .dll) finishes executing. The disadvantage is that you might accidentally "leak" a task if you're not careful. In order to stop the pulse generation on command, you can either reset the device or somehow store the task name you created and come back later to call DAQmx Stop and/or Clear Task.

How do I click a key and have Firefox populate a field I am in with specified text?
I provide online assistance for a specific group of clients. I am finding myself repeatedly writing almost the exact same paragraphs. Which Add-on would allow me to simply populate a field on a page with the exact text -- I'm hoping to set up 20 or 30 responses that I can just select instead of having to retype everything. I have very limited access to an environment (basically just user access). I am documenting the Lync 2013 cilent for this environment. I was provisioned a limited SIP enabled account for testing. Autodiscovery from the Lync 2010 client works, but not from
the 2013 client. I can connect (with some issues) from either 2010 client (autodiscovery) and 2013 client (manually configuring the server). So I want to verify if the Autodiscover is configured correctly to work with the 2013 client or not and if the reason
it fails for me is due to something wrong with my account or if this will happen with other users?
I have checked the lyncdiscoverinternal.domain.com and it resolves and is reachable. I can navigate to https :// lyncdiscoverinternal.domain.com/Autodiscover/AutodiscoverService.svc/root/domain and it returns the information I would think it should
including hrefs to Internal/Autodiscover, Internal/AuthBroker, External/Autodiscover, External/AuthBroker, Internal/Mcx & External/Mcx as well as fqdns for SipClientExternalAccess, SipClientInternalAccess, SipServerExternalAccess & SipServerInternalAccess.
The AuthBrokers urls return what I believe is the expected RemoteService Service pages. The Mcx urls return what I believe is the expected McxService2 Service pages. The SipClientInternalAccess & SipServerInternalAccess fqdns are both resolvable and
reachable. The Autodiscover urls return hrefs for Domain and User. Those Domain urls return the same information as the initial root/domain url and the user url (which I believe is the one that is actually opened by lync during the autodiscover process) returns
what I believe is an expected 401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials page.
If I explicitly configure the Lync 2013 client to use the fqdn listed for SipClientInternalAccess, the client will log me in. However on Automatic configuration, it fails to log me in.
One other note is that when I watch with Wireshark, I observed that it is getting another internal server fqdn from somewhere. We'll just say that the SipClientInternalAccess fqdn is lyncABC.domain.internal. When looking at Wireshark and the DNS requests,
I'm also seeing a lync2013ABC.domain.internal that does resolve and is reachable and can also be used as the explicitly listed server in the Lync 2013 client and it will log in. However, that fqdn is not listed in any of the root or domain url replies. So
I'm not sure where it is coming from or how to check that.
Is there any additional information anywhere that can tell me exactly what the behavior of the 2013 client is when trying to find the server to authenticate to and how I can reproduce any missing steps manually to determine what it is identifying as the
login server (if any) since it is obviously not the trying the one listed as SipClientInternalAccess?

To narrow down the issue, you could refer to the following steps first.
1. Delete the Lync client 2013 user profile and registry key.
User profile:

Registry Key:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]
Certificate:
a. Open Windows Certificate Manager. To do this, press Windows + R, type certmgr.msc, and then click OK.
b. Expand Personal, and then expand Certificates.
c. Look for a certificate that's issued by Communications Server and delete it.
2. Upgrade Lync client to the latest update.
3. Check the DNS records(A records and SRV records) again.

How can I install a trial version of Adobe Pesenter 9 running Windows 8.1 and also running MS Office 2013? I am sure it is 32 bit, so that is not the issue. I can see it in the add-ins in Power Point, but when I check it to run, it will not do anything. I have restarted my computer, unistalled and reinstalled Adobe Presenter a few times, and still, it will not work. It was working at one time, but now it will not work for the life of me. i m using crystal report 11. my sales systems are using crystal report version 6 and version 9 format. if i edit the rpt version 6 and 9 in crystal rpt 11, how to save it back to version 6 or 9, to make sure it works with the system.
tqWord recognizes almost all .rtf and .txt files I throw at it.

JohnnieBGoodHi randers4. Already have. I have two (2) gmail addresses - only one of which I run through Outlook. Both are set up in GMail on the iPhone under Settings but Contacts and Calendars are only set up to synch on the account that goes thru Outlook. My email from both merge OK on the iPhone but Contacts and Calendars from Outlook doesn't come over and its the only one i have the Settings turned on for Contacts,Calendars and Notes.
