how to configure header note in quotation through va22.
i want a manually enter the data through va22..
please give me idea step by step process how to solve
<h4>We have not configured text determination because the there are no fixed rules mentioned by our client. Hence the users are keying in text based on some other characteristics. Once the quotation is final then they need to change the customer number in VA22 which is wiping off the texts. Now I need to fill that text box with the texts keyed in while creating the quotation. I can read the texts using the function module "READ_TEXT" but the question is how can I fill the textarea so that the user can modify the text before saving.</h4>

Try creating dummy text id which will be part of text determination procedure @ Customers sales text & document header text.
else, maintain the SO10-text against this text ID. whenver user createds quotation this text will be defaulted irrespective of the cusotmer.
then based on if user want to modify the text they have to enter manually in this text id. print this text in header.

Acrobat 8 and Reader 11 is not a recommended configuration to install on one machine.

There's also a related registry entry :
1.Click "Start," type "Regedit" into the Search box and press "Enter."
2.Click "Yes" if a User Account Control prompt appears.
3.Navigate to the ""HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\[version]\Originals\" key in the left pane of the Registry Editor, where "[version]" is the currently installed version of Adobe Reader.
4.Create the bBrowserIntegration value if it doesn't exist in the right pane by clicking "Edit," "New." Click "DWORD Value," type "bBrowserIntegration" and press "Enter."
5.Double-click the bBrowserIntegration value in the right pane.
6.Type "0" into the value data box and press "Enter."

I am trying to configure Firefox proxy through an ssh terminal (putty) on Ubuntu 8.04. There in no GUI for the terminal, so am using xvfb to simulate the display. However Firefox cannot open any website because the proxy is not set correctly
Here's what I tried.Edited a loadcustom.js file in
/usr/lib/firefox-3.6x/defaults/prefs
and added the lines

Then created a firefox.cfg file in
/usr/lib/firefox3.6x and added the lines

This did not work for me. Any suggestions?

Never mind. I got it working now, I was editing at the wrong place I guess.
I had to add the settings in /usr/lib/firefox-3.6.17/defaults/pref/firefox.js and then restart Firefox. Here's what I added
pref("network.proxy.type", 4); to have Firefox auto-detect proxy settings.

My new podcast just got approved to be in iTunes. I currently use Libsyn to host my podcast. However, I was just wondering where can I insert my show notes?
I can't really find any step by step tutorial on how to do this.

when you go to publish a new episode with libsyn - under description you enter in your show notes.
That will show up in your RSS feed and then in iTunes.

I think u need not configure anyting new for this, you can use the existing Business Tran. Type K and rename it as Vendor Advance for separate identity. You can do the normal FBCJ posting.
But doing this you will not have separate identity for the Advances paid.

In the nomination screen, there are the tabs for header and item notes.
Within each of those tabs, there are categories for the type ofcomments. Currently in the nomination maintenance screen header notes
there are onlythree comment categories are available 1) General comments 2) Carriercoment 3) Shipper Comment and We would like add more comments in this
section. In the configuration we couldn't find a place where we can add
more customer specific comments. Can we add comments in the header
notes tab and if so where can we add the additional comments ?

You could try the following to create new text types for nomination header.
1) Execute transaction SM31
2) The view here is V_TTXIDI
3) Click on maintain .
4) Create new entries .
5) Since you want to add new more comments in the nomination header enter the text object as OIJRCODE_H
6) Enter a text ID starting with Z
7) Enter a description and save the new entry.
In case you want to add new comments at the item level use the text object as OIJRCODE_I.
When you restart the transaction O4NM again you will see the new entry added.
This will solve the issue.

I hv VOFM>Formulas>Conditional value--> 620 routine, its used to determine the SHIPMENT COST DOCUMENT creation and its talks about consolidating all the shipemts together belongs to same customer and there by creating only one shipment (cartons/volume/weight) cost document. (Its developed and done activated)
So, pls let me know that, How to check that whether this VOFM routine 620 is in place (configured) or not in the system?

Unfortunately I have to tell you that the described behaviour is not
an Error but SAP Standard behaviour.
Please see note 448814 question 7.
In SAP Standard it is not foreseen to take over the header text of a
PREQ to a PO !
You can try to use BADI ME_REQ_HEADER_TEXT .
I have found a document which gives coding for Purchase Requisition Header Long Text using Badi - ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST:

Open the Preferences panel (Edit menu on Windows, Dreamweaver menu on a Mac), and select the Site category. There are two checkboxes there for dependent files. Make sure both are selected. The Dreamweaver default is NOT to upload/download dependent files. You need to click Yes, if you want the dependent files to be included.

Possible causes:
1. Your antivirus is blocking access to gs.apple.com.
2. Your phone is jailbroken.
3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
5. The phone was reported stolen. If it was it can never be activated again.
For 1. try disabling your antivirus.
For 2. & 3. you need to go somewhere other than an apple forum for help. Although you can try deleting lines containing gs.apple.com from your "hosts" file on your computer.
