How to configure IPAD to connect Wireless (WPA2)

I've problem that I cannot configure IPAD connect Wireless LAN (Auth WPA2) so I don't know How I have to configure anything on Wireless Controller or I've to configure anything on IPAD. Please advise me sir.

Hi,
As I understood , you need configuration on controller side ... if that is the case... please follow below procedure ..
once you login to controller through GUI ... you need to select " Wireless " option
1) select wlan which you want to configure with WPA2 ...
2) you will get page with all details about corrousponding WLAN
3) select " Security " option in wlan option
4) once you click on security option , you will get option with WPA+ WPA2
5) select that option with what type of encryption you required ...
I believe you need wpa2 with personal edition. if so ... please select PSK with TKIP option .
once you do that , it will be activated from controller side for the respective Wlan ...
About IPAD ... you need to select wpa+wpa2 with psk and TKIP .... I do not have clear idea about IPAD ...

Thanks for the reply. Its solved now. For anybody if interested you can set the dynamic email address either i) having it as part of payload - In this case use the xpath to query the payload varaible ii) use identity service - follow the following steps
1.Create a user in Application enterprise manager/also you can use a existing account, if u are creating a new one assign the correct role
2. In either case edit the user-properties.xml(bpel/system/services/config) file for the corresponding user and add an attribute called email
3. Bounce the server for this changes to take effect
4. In the notification properties in the to address use ids:getUserProperty and pass the attribute name

We changed the DB server, and instead of a regular SQL server using the 1433 port, we are using an instance
SQLSERVER1\_SQLINSTANCE1
The problem is that, in this case, the port is dynamic allocated.
The question is:
How I configure this in Webcenter Interaction? Anyone experienced this kind of Db migration?

WCI requires use of a static port. You can assign a static port to your named instance.
Make sure TCP/IP is enabled, as sometimes only named pipes is turned on.
Then for WCI use the hostname and port you specify. You can do this in the configuration manager.

You have to realize what is involved with certifying a database with the SOA suite, for it to be certified a full regression test has to be run, and as you can imagine this is a time consuming exercise, therefore it is only done for major patchset releases. So when database 11g came out after 10.1.3.3. there is no way that it can be certified, at the next major patchset release you will probably find it becomes certified.

I have two OAM/OAS pairs both connected to replicated Sun Dir Servers, so that the first OAS/OIS pair is connected to Sun Dir-1, while the second OAS/OIS pair is connected to Sun Dir-2. It works fine. I've recently created two OVD servers each pointing to the two Sun Dir servers. How do I re-configure OAM (OIS, OAS, WebPass, WebGate, Policy Manager, etc) to use the OVDs instead of individ Sun Servers? I get an error about DS not found from OAM whenever I try to point to OVD. Do I need to load OAM schema/user data into OVDs?

Can you try/check the following -
1. Value of 'LDAPMaxNoOfRetries' in globalparams.xml? Generally, this should be 'No.of Directory Profiles + 1'. Restart the OIS.
2. under the o=oblix node,
-> Web Masters (cn=web masters, o=oblix, ...)
-> Directory Administrators (cn=directory administrators, o=oblix, ...)
Reconfirm if the 'master admin' user's DN is correct.
3. Regenerate Shared Secret.
If these doesn't work, try -
1. Add another user's 'dn' under 'cn=Web Masters,o=oblix,<realm>' and 'cn=Master Web Resource Admins,obapp=PSC,o=oblix,<relam>'
Eg: obuniquememberStr = uid=pramod,<realm>
2. Remove/Delete the 'dn' of the admin user with which the problem is/was occuring.
Eg: uid=oamadmin,ou=users,<realm>
3. Add the 'dn' of the admin user again.
Eg: uid=oamadmin,ou=users,<realm>
4. Restart LDAP Server, OAM Identity & Access Servers, and Web Servers.

I have one of them like my core switch working in layer 3 mode. With 2 vlans and vlan interfaces to each vlan.

But now i have to connect one 3com unmanage switch that have host from vlan 1 and 2. How should i connect this switch to my Cisco sg300 switch? What mode should i use in that port?

Use MAC-based VLANs on SG300 L2 switch, register all clients in needed VLANs (or better setup SG300 L2 port to 3com in PVID VLAN with maximum clients and others in MAC-based VLANs).

You can set TNS_ADMIN to your local path of Oracle Express Database

I would like to have a data connection file used by excel to extract data form a SQL Server DB (so that change in location of the DB needs only a change to the single data connection file). The excel file will retrieve data from only a single database,
but there are multiple queries (30+) stored on SQL server that are used - each SQL server views' data is returned to a pivot table in an excel worksheet, which has an associated chart with various slicers on the main dashboard worksheet.
Do I need a seperate data conenction file for each SQL server query being retrieved, or can a single connection file be created as all data comes from a single database?
(all my attempts and research on the net have led me to believe that a seperate file is needed for each view, but this seems unnecessary)

Hi, im learning my way with this, so apologies if I am providing too much or too little info.
There are 8 source files which are very loosely related in that they capture infromation regarding what has happened within a metro railway over a day. However there are only a few relationships between the contents of tehse files.
These tables are imported into SQL Server using SSIS where I have developed a number of views that query these 8 source tables to generate a number of metrics to provide insight into the service provided to the passengers. Some examples of metrics are: Number
of passengers in transit at any given time, time taken to travel between adjacent stations, how much power was used during the day, what distance did the trains travel during the day, etc. Some views provide only a handful of rows, some provide 1M plus. There
are now approx 40 seperate views created.
I have then used a spreadsheet with a worksheet associated with each SQL server view. Each worksheet is set up as a pivot table, which allows the related chart on the main dashboard worksheet to use standard excel capability to slice and present the data
in different ways.
At the moment if the server on which teh database is stored moves, I have had to recreate the spreadsheet from scratch as I dont know how to change the connection information in any other way. Ideally I would like to have connection info in a single place
to reduce ongoing maintenance, particularly as I would like to place the spreadsheet on a SharePoint server to distribute it to other users.

If I understand you right you have custom credential provider on the server. In this case Microsoft says that it is impossible to overcome double sign-on, just search for the "RDC and Custom Credential Providers" on the Internet.
