How to configure number of concurrent iTunes downloads?

You know, I never realized just how lucky I was to have access to broadband internet in the US. Now that I am traveling abroad I see that the rest of the world has no idea what true broadband speeds really are. Case in point, Jakarta, Indonesia. Their idea of (affordable) broadband internet is 384k/64k. (Cringe...)
Having said that, I would like to configure iTunes to only download one item at a time while queuing the remaining items. This is particularly useful when I use iTunes to catch up on my podcasts.
Does anyone know how this can be done?

Hi experts,
I have a simple interface:
FILE -> XI -> FILE
The input file is a huge file containing thousands of records.
XI will split the huge input files, so that each record gets written to one file each.
Owing to the huge number of files being generated, I have many messages in status = "To Be Delivered" in the RWB.
When I do a filter for status = "Delivering", I see 4 messages in that status. (Of course the message IDs will differ from time to time, but at any point in time, I can only see 4 messages with the status = "Delivering").
How can I increase the number of concurrent processes that produces the output files?
Please advise.

I want to know:
1. How to restrict number of users connecting to the wireless network that is setup thru my router?
2. I also want to know about any monitoring software which can tell me about connected PCs, user names, bandwidth available, bandwidth utilized etc.

1. logon to router's setup page, open I.E. and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1, it would ask for username and password, put "admin" default password without any username... click on the wireless tab >> wireless security >> try setting up wireless security as per the requirements, also you can setup wireless MAC filter and you can setup MAC address of wireless computers which you want to allow to coonect to the network...
2. not quiet sure about monitoring software which would show you detail log about bandwidth, bandwidth utilized by each computer...however you should view router's logs from linksys "logviewer" utility...go to ftp.linksys.com/pub/network and download the "logviewer" utility.

I have developed new custom report using reports6i, and defined a concurrent program registered into AOL and assigned to a request group. I tested the report runs fine from form based applications. But user wants to run this new report from web forms(Incentive Compensation). I have no idea how to create a concurrent program link in the Incentive compensation module web forms.
Is there any document to configure oracle report concurrent program into web forms?
or guyz please send me the steps (screen shots) to add custom report concurrent program to web forms?

On some event on the page (like a button submit) you can call a PLSQL API with parameters which can further submit your concurrent Request.
If you want to see the Report output in Apps, it can be done directly. Otherwise if you want to see the value in the Self Service Page itself, then you can extend the oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.server.RequestSummaryVO for your case.

The file contains multiple records, and for each record, 1 SOAP request is sent out.
My question is:
1. How many concurrent outgoing SOAP requests are being sent out to the external system from XI? Is this configurable?

How can I change where an iTunes download is saving?

My iPod has a larger capacity than my computer's hard disk, so I bought an external drive to store my music on. I moved my iTunes library folder to this G: drive and instructed future downloads to be sent there as well. This has worked well.
Problem--I'm downloading a whole season of Grey's Anatomy from iTunes, but I had forgotten to turn on the G: drive until about 10 minutes into the download. I think the TV shows are being saved to my computer, because the computer keeps crashing every 5 minutes when I try to resume the download (because of not enough space on my hard drive.) Question: How can I change the save location of a purchase that has already been started?

How can I move all my iTune downloads and downloaded CD to an External Drive and still register in iTunes on my iMac?

I have nearly used up my iMacs 1T drive downloading my CD collection to it, I have a Seagate 1T that has plenty of room on it to transfer my library of music. my requirement is that i m showing top 50 seller in my dashboard. but when we click on download to excel then all 500 rows are downloading. i want to restrict downloading all data and want show only displayed data of dashboard in excel sheet.(ex if 50 top seller are selected then only 50 rows is downloaded.)

Yes.my suggestion is you set each report design analysis page itself(just to -->edit analysis-->look at the table propeties -->here u can set it how ever you want(50 rows, 500 rows etc..analysis visible page) to show/download it as per your requirment.
Changing instance confic will affect entire report.for controling this you can set dashboard/prompt filter then you control data downloading.

Just FYI:If you have bulk volum of data like more than 8MB then you have increase the download size
steps configure bulk volumn data more than 8MB:
go to you bi installed drive \oracle\instances\instance1\config\OracleBIJavaHostComponent\coreapplication_obijh1\
2. Open config.xml file in an editor and search for the below lines
<XMLP> <InputStreamLimitInKB>8192</InputStreamLimitInKB>
<ReadRequestBeforeProcessing>true</ReadRequestBeforeProcessing> </XMLP>
3. The default size is 8 MB, you can increase to the size you want. If you want to set unlimited, then replace 8192 with 0 (zero) but it’s not recommended (performance may impact) then Restart BI Service and test .

How to configure mail client to only download headers(titles) of emails

Hi there?
I have 10 different email accounts (for some weird reasons that i think irrelevant fir this question), and i want to use Mail app as my main client. iCloud, hotmail, yahoo, gmail, other imap and pop etc.
Now the mail client is trying to download everything from the servers which is gigs of storgae space. I need to configure mail to only download titles of emails, not the entire email with attachments etc.
I can do that very simply in MS Outlook, and even in the old outlook express client.
How can i do that in Mavericks mail client please? I looked everywhere

Try going to the web based site and see if you can set up a temporary folder there. Move anything you don't want to download to that folder.

We recently upgraded to ECC 6.0 and installed Solution Man., very vanilla. Basically just to get the Key to do the upgrade with.
I would really appreciate it if someone could share any documentation that would provide guidance on how to now further configure SolMan for the following
1. Monitor our Landscape which comprises of ABAP ECC (java is installed though not actively using), and SAP BI 7.0
Sandbox, Dev, QAS and Prdn for BOTH ECC & BI
2. Download Support Patches from SAP Marketplace (currently we have had to donwload the long way with download manager creating a message to get them apporoved whew... this is work..)
3. Add messages to SAP Market Place (thru SolMan)
4 Possibly monitor security and manage userids etc (if possible)
And if there is functionality that will make the BASIS experience better I would definitely appreciate it. We don't need the help desk as we already have it ,but, we may take advantage of Project documentation

With solution manager you can definitely do a world of things, below is a list inclusive of the features you wanted:
1. Dowload SP-Stacks, etc - you will have to configure Maintenance Optimizer for this (MOPZ).
2. Monitoring - you can monitor your ABAP and JAVA stacks using the monitoring features of CCMS which is embedded in Solution Manager, please have a look at the monitoring setup guide (for NW04S) in the Service Marketplace. Basically, it uses agents such as SAPCCMSR for JAVA Stacks and SAPCCM4X for ABAP stacks.
3. You can also configure availability monitoring using th same guide as above - this uses the CCMSPING tool.
4. You can monitor your business processes using the BPM/BPMon features of solution manager - you will also get this guide in http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager.
5. You can scheule your earlywatch alerts (EWAs) in solution manager system - have a look at the following link for this:

I'm adding my yahoo mail account into Mac Mail recently, and I have got around 5000 mails in my yahoo account.
When I succesffuly added the yahoo account in Mac Mail, the system imports all mails to Mac (starting from very beginining)
It is too much for me and spending a lot of time and data. Actually I don't need all of them, I just want to get 50 of the latest mail from yahoo.
Is there any way I can configure the number of importing mail for my first time import?

In MN22 go to the Commuunication tab and there put the desired number of copies to be output like 2 or 3 against the field "Number of Messages" and save.This will get the desired result.

How to configure Oracle execute concurrently ?

I've developed an application that need to to insert a lot of data at a time and also need speed. If i i insert data sequentially, it run very slow. So, i 've create some Thread (about 30 threads) for inserting. But the speed is not imporoved. It is even slower than when i insert sequentially. How to solve this? are there any options while installing for concurrently insert?
Currently, I use Oracle 10g (10.2.0) on Windows 7 64bits and i've installed it with basic option(default option). Do i have to change to Oracle 11g? If need, i'll change.

How many rows are you inserting?
Are you making one procedure call to insert all the data? Or are you making one procedure call for every row you are inserting?
Are you making one network round trip for each procedure call? Or are you batching many procedure calls for every round trip?
Are you doing conventional path inserts? Or direct path inserts?

I'm looking for a way to configure the number of RADIUS authentication attempts on a Server 2012.
The server has RRAS but uses an external server for RADIUS authentication. By default, the RRAS (RADIUS client) sever sends
3 RADIUS Access-Request messages if there is no reponse from the RADIUS server. I would like to configure that to only
1 authentication retry.
I have tried to configure settings in the registry, but it did not help. I have configured:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RemoteAccess\Authentication\Providers\{1AA7F83F-C7F5-11D0-A376-00C04FC9DA04}\Servers\radiusserver1 - the DWORD value
Retries. Also, I have configured: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RemoteAccess\Parameters - with a DWORD value
AuthenticateRetries. Nothing worked.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the retry times of RADIUS client.
I set up a test environment according to your description:
1. Windows 7 as the VPN client.
2. Windows Server 2012 as VPN server, also install NPS as RADIUS client and forward request to RADIUS Server.
3. Windows Server 2008 R2 as the RADIUS Server.
I have tried to reduce the time of dropping the request, and some registry entry, but all have no effect on 3 times retry of RADIUS access request. From now I haven’t found any Microsoft official instruction about this. I am wondering the reason you
want to change this.
