How to configure PI user in organization plan?

Hello SRM guys,
When transfer external purchase requirement from ECC to SRM, PI user is needed assigned to organization plan. My question is: Which role should be assigned to PI user. Which attribute should be configred in organization plan.
Any one know about this?
Envirement: SRM Server 7.0
ECC EHP 4.

HI Justin,
You can assign a organization unit say EBP_EXT_CHANNEL under your root node or the node which has all the required attributres to create a SC for backend category.
THe PI user should have the following roles :
/SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE
/SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER
SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER

Thanks for your replies. Note 1055921 is not relevant for my process. Email Id etc is maintained for the user.
I have made one single user through SU01. Then I am using USERS_GEN, I am giving country code, org ID. Then system asks " area of user", I enter the userid. After that, this error comes.
Default country is US and no tax system is there in SPRO. I am using SRM component version 5.0.
I am lost!

How to configure Mail Users aliases

Hello,
i have installed OS X Lion Server and after after a short while i was very dissapointed.
One of my goals was to get a easy GUI to adminstrate my mail Server.
So, after installing Server App i configure and activate a Mail Server.
Then i wanted to add aliases to my User and tried to start The Workgroup Manager.
Within i searched for a the mail tab in order to configure the User Aliases.
But there was no Mail tab there, so i have to create the aliases through the command line (edit /etc/postfix/aliases, newaliases).
I cannot believe that there is no gui for configuring mail users. Is this really so or is it in another place or have i forgotten to check or to do something else.
How do you setting up and configure mail and mail users in OS X Lion?
I am looking forward to you answers and expiriences,

You can configure mail aliases, the same way you did in Mac OS 10.6 Server... Make sure you have Installed Server Tools for 10.7. Run Workgroup Manager. Under the User, Select Short names on the 2nd or 3 line add [email protected] etc .etc

Venkatesh,
The best technique for this would be configuring Workflow. Whenever an Idoc goes into an error it will go to the specified user. You have to set it up and can have more than 1 user and also depending on what Idoc failed you can have different users.
Example ORDERS05 failed, let it go to the inbox of the Order team , SHPORD failed , put it in the mailbox of the WM team lead etc.
Read up the workflow documentation of SAP which is really good.
You can do other things, like have a simple email etc. but all will need program changes.
Usually I have seen some teams have the most simple mechanism.
Have a peron check the Idoc that failed and then notify the teams.
Of course 1 person can be only responsible for lets say a few Idoc types.
I have worked in such a environment where I used to look at the Order to cash Idocs ( Orders/Invoices/bank payments etc.)
Also you train the users to look at Idocs and recognise and fix errors, so they are not totally dependent on you.
But Workflow is the best solution according to me.

I am trying to configure the end user to have access to callmanager, because I want the people can configure the speed dial, I know that release 4.2 you just configure the user/password and the peple can log in to http://<ip_address>/ccmuser and that was all.
But in this relese 5.X the server replies denied access.
Could someone help me with this issue PLEASE

How to configure a user to access RFC functions

In production system, a user account with RFC access privilege is need to configured for a .NET Connector application.
Some documents see than need to add access object RFC_ACL for this user.

Well, for fastest you don't want Fast User Switching enabled, that leaves everything in the other account running, you want to log out of that other account & log into the new one.
Just don't setup Mail or such things in the new account, remove uneeded things from Accounts Login Items.

select Security Model as: Oracle BI Server
Connection String:jdbc:oraclebi://xxxx.xxxxx.xxxx.com:9703/
then user name and password for Administrator
Database Driver Class : oracle.bi.jdbc.AnaJdbcDriver
even though i could not able to login with users which are in table

You don't so much configure enterprise voice for federation, you just configure enterprise voice. Then when you configure you're environment for federation, the voice features will take care of themselves. The two are separation components / features.
But you'll need to be a little more specific; Are the two user forests using the same Lync environment through a forest trust(s) (resource or central forest topologies)? If they are, then you don't need to do anything with federation for these
two forests to leverage enterprise voice between their users - it will just work. However if each user forest is using a separate Lync environment, then you will need to configure federation between the two and make use of Lync Edge servers.
You can enable enterprise voice for users without an SBC or gateway, this component is used merely to connect your Lync platform to the PSTN. You may also use a direct SIP trunk to your mediation server as you have eluded to, although I never recommend this
in production for security reasons (which I feel others will back me on), it is still a supported option.
Let me know if I've interpreted this completely wrong.

How to configure users for internal mail routing only in exchange 2013

Hi Guys!
I have a scenario here that i have three (3) group of users, one group is able to have an inbound and outbound mail, meaning they can send and recieved emails from internal and external.The second group of users should have inbound mail(local mail) only
(cannot send and recieved mails from internet), and the third (3) user is they can recieved an outbound mail but they are not allowed to send mail directly to the client,(Ex.
[email protected],[email protected],[email protected]) instead they will use the
[email protected] as the reply to the client. Please let me know how to configure group user 2 and 3.

Great advice from Maganti, just elaborating steps:
Prevent Group 2 send e-mail to internet by transport rule:
1. Login EAC with administrator, Mail Flow---> Rule, click “Create a new rule, then give a name “Group2 - No Internet Mail”.
2. Conditions: select "From a member of a distribution list" & select group "Group2"
3. Select another condition "Sent to users inside or outside the organization" & Select Outside.
4. Actions: select "send bounce message to sender with enhanced status code" & write your custom message like “You are not authorized to send mails to internet”.
Prevent Group 3 directly send e-mail to internet, however it can send message as group:
We also can create a transport rule which is same with Group2, then open Active Directory Users and Computers to add send as permission with another group (contain same users as group3).

Procedure is perfect which is given by Benoit, just elaborating steps.
Prevent form Sending Mails:
Create a transport rule on Hub Transport Server:
Organization Configuration -> Hub Transport -> Transport Rules -> New Transport Rule -> Give Name “Group2 - No Internet Mail”
Conditions: select "From a member of a distribution list" & select group "Group2"
Select another condition "Sent to users inside or outside the organization" & Select Outside.
Actions: select "send bounce message to sender with enhanced status code" & write your custom message like “You are not authorized to send mails to internet”
Prevent from Receiving Mails:
New User: You can select “require that senders are authenticated” while creating new users which will stop receiving mails from internet.
User -> properties -> Mail Flow Settings -> Message Delivery Restrictions -> Properties -> set Sender Authentication.
For Existing Users:
You have already a group named "Group2" so set sender authentication for all members with this single command.
Get-DistributionGroup "Group2" | Set-Mailbox -RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled $true
Same procedure mentioned for group2 can be followed for Group3 to prevent from sending mails.

Does anyone have any idea on how to configure the "Overview of Organizational Units" iView in MSS to work with the HR backend?
When I click on the Organizational Unit in the iView, it does not link me to a new page and no Organizational Unit overview pops out.

Hi Leong Ko,
In order for this to work, first and foremost your userid has to be linked to some "manager" employee of your choice in infotype 105, subtype 0001.
Secondly, the position that this "manager" employee is holding has to be assigned to one organisational unit (technically relationship A003, but you can do this from transaction PPOME).
Thirdly, the position in question has to be marked as "chief position" (in technical terms relationship A012-manages between the position and the org. unit to which it belongs). This can also be done from transaction PPOME.
If the organisational unit to which the position belongs has, in turn, subordinate org. units, these will also be shown in the Iview.
Of course you will have to be logged on to the portal with your userid (the one that you assigned to the employee in infotype 105) for this to work. It will not work if you are just testing the Iview without being logged on.

Actually these user defind fields are used/assigned in the routing.
Initially u have to define your own user defind profile through OPEC transaction.
Assign this profile in the routing.
So when ur executing Mfg activities, suppose if ur using some high materials like silver...etc.
Then after executing the particular operation some amount of silver chips or silver scrap will generated .
To keep chip/scrap qty operation and date which user defind is used.
Once u have assigned this profile to routing, then it will be automatically copied in the planned order/production order.when ur confirming the order then u have to enter the all related data.
