How to configure telus email on ipad2

Hello there,
Does anyone have experience setting up a Telus email account on their ipad 2? I spoke to telus, they converted my "pop" server account to an "imap" account. I attempted to setup the account on my ipad2 and am receiving a "Cannot Connect Using SSL" message. It gives me an option that says "Do you want to try setting up th account without SSL?" i tapped yes, it thinks for a bit and the message appears again...can someone please help?

hi
try this
example1 and
example2.
and also , you can  achieve this by setting a retention policy in SharePoint 2013. Create the “send an alert” workflow associated to your document library in the SharePoint Designer 2013. Save and Publish.
Return the library, click library setting > Information management policy settings > Select a content type used within the library that you want to monitor. Enable Retention > Add a retention stage >This stage is based off a day property on the
item > configure Time Period > Action: Start a workflow > Select the “send an alert” workflow.
cheers,

I want to know how to redirect emails or alerts for users like when a user runs a report he should get notification email in his outlook about the report output and details. In settings it only points for one replyto field. How do I mention all user ID's?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If that is the only email option you have, then your account with your carrier does not contain what is needed to use their BlackBerry Internet Service -- that service, which they control, is what provides the bridge between your BB and internet facing email systems. Contact your carrier and ask them what you need to do with them in order to provide you the services you desire.

It's not really "removed". The system log is "rotated" out, at least partly to avoid having it grow too large. The older log information is in a series of files named like "system.log.0.bz2, system.log.1.bz2, etc. A file of type ".bz2" is a particular type of compressed file. Eventually the oldest of those files will be deleted. If you want to keep those forever, I'd copy off the oldest of those files on a regular basis to some other location.

  • How to configure multiple email accounts (not aliases) in Thunderbird?

    Hi,
I have my own personal Oracle email account and 2 other Oracle email accounts that I own (these are accounts used for our team's customer newsletters).
I previously used Thunderbird for all 3 accounts with no problem. Now, I can no longer get mail for the 2 newsletter accounts. I have tried changing the sever to: stbeehive.oracle.com and entering my existing password but that does not work.
Should I run the Beehive config assistant and enter the account information for each of my 2 email accounts which are not yet working on beehive?
If not that, how do I get these other email address accounts configured in Thunderbird? I need to be able to send and receive emails.
    Thanks,

  • How to configure an email endpoint

    Hi,
I am trying to configure an emailendpoint for my process but I'm having trouble with retrieving some email information.
    Is this documented somewhere?
One problem at the moment is to retrieve the SendDate or ReceiveDate from an email. How do I make the mappings for this?
The other one is when I configure the emailendpoint to retrieve Attachments, I did this by mapping *.* to an Map-collection. Now I can get the attachments stored in the Map-collection, this works fine. But when there are no attachments at the email I keep getting an NullPointerException and my process is not invoked. But my process needs to be invoked with or without attachments.

  • How to configure multiple email addresses for a Google Apps profile on iOS 8.1?

I've got a Google Apps account with 4 incoming email addresses. I'd like to use either Exchange or Google as the email type for this account. I understand how to setup the original account (done, works great). I understand how to change the one-and-only sending address to essentially any one of the 4 authorized send-from emails. However, I can't seem to figure out how to add all 4 addresses so that Mail.app on my phone automatically chooses the correct address for replies to incoming

I would like to know this too, although as far as I have read, it's not possible (anymore) with Mail. Previous you would have added your 4 email addresses separated by commas as your email address. I tried doing that recently but Mail did not understand it. You will need to resort to using the official Gmail app for your secondary incoming addresses.

  • How to configure dynamic email address for notification

    All,
I have a problem in assigning dynamic email address for notification activity in a bpel process, I want to assign a user from a user-properties file. How do I achieve this. I tried using the users in System-jazn-data.xml file, but if i add a email attribute to the existing users it doesn't show up. I am sure there should be an easier way of using identity service and adding attributes to the jazn realm user, I might be missing something.
I cannot have it as part of the payload the only way is to use identity service.
    Thanks,
    Chitra

    Hi James,
Thanks for the reply. Its solved now. For anybody if interested you can set the dynamic email address either i) having it as part of payload - In this case use the xpath to query the payload varaible ii) use identity service - follow the following steps
1.Create a user in Application enterprise manager/also you can use a existing account, if u are creating a new one assign the correct role
    2. In either case edit the user-properties.xml(bpel/system/services/config) file for the corresponding user and add an attribute called email
    3. Bounce the server for this changes to take effect
    4. In the notification properties in the to address use ids:getUserProperty and pass the attribute name

  • How to configure sent email to a certain domain to use a specific account?

    Hello!
I have OS X Mail setup with 3 different accounts. Is it possible to setup OS X Mail so that all mail destined for a certain domain automatically selects a particular account to use?
For example, I have [email protected] and [email protected] configured as accounts. I'd love to make sure that anytime I send email to [email protected], OS X Mail would automatically select the [email protected] account.

    Hi,
It seems like mail enabled lists are not available with SharePoint Online yet, due to performance issues. At least that what they said in Q4 2012. I have not been able to find anything that changes that answer.
    http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/154/t/809.aspx
Have you checked if Site Mailboxes could give you the features you require? That's available in SharePoint Online.

  • How to configure incoming email to SharePoint List? Facing problem please help.

    Hi,
I am beginner in SharePoint 2013 Administration. I am working with Migrated system from MOSS 2007 to sharePoint 2013.
I am facing issue with SharePoint 2013 List incoming email setting. It was working in MOSS 2007 system.
    I did:
Whenever I am trying to specify list (incoming) email id and submit it. I am getting following error.
"Unable to assign this e-mail address to the list, because the address is in use."
When Users are sending email to list they are getting "Undelivery" notification.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Rajat

    Hi Rajat,
There might be below options you can try to resolve the issue.
    1. There is a bug that sometimes causes this issue. If you update the description of the list and try again, it may resolve your problem.
    2. If you have SharePoint setup to create contacts in AD, have you verified there is not a lingering AD contact with the e-mail address? If so, you may need to delete it so the address is available in AD.
Also please check whether other document library is using the same email id for incoming email setting or not.
see below thread for more on this.

  • How to configure email notification for Attestation?

    Hi to everyone
I have configure an attestation process and its working now, but i would like to know how to configure an email notification sent to invited reviewer or particular user based on certain actions when reviewer submit as certify, reject or delegated.
    Thanks in advance.

There are certain built-in templates for notifications when assigned, delegated, declined, invalid list of reviewers..etc (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32479_01/doc.903/b32450/attestation.htm#sthref283).
But I am not aware of notifications based on reviewer's response CERTIFY/REJECT. Not sure if this is an out-of-the-box feature, but you could have a custom task based on the AttestationOperationsIntf class to get this implemented.

  • How to configure email server so that I can reply without "relaying" issues

I've setup the Snow Leopard Server 10.6 and setup the email server. The problem we have is that when a user sends an email using an ISP other than the one where the server is connected, or replys to an email using a different ISP it gets bounced with the message that our server doesn't allow relaying. That is correct. We didn't set it up to relay because of concerns that we might be blacklisted as a spammer. Can you tell me how to configure the email server settings so we don't have this bounce problem and can send and reply using our domain.com email address regardless of the ISP we're connect to? Thanks

Such a seemingly innocuous question. If only the answer were that simple.
There are many factors in getting a working mail server.
For one, if you expect to receive incoming mail for your domain you will need a static IP address with matching forward and reverse DNS entries. You might already have this, or you might not. You don't say anything about your network environment to know.
Once you've addressed the network side of things there are two common elements to implement.
First is you tell the server about your local networks - the ones that you trust users on. Typically this is your private LAN (e.g. a 192.168.x.x network) where your users are. This works well for an office environment and lets users send mail unhindered, but doesn't cater to remote users (you probably cannot whitelist all the remote user's IP addresses, especially those that are mobile).
For those users you implement SMTP Authentication. This ensures the mail client authenticates to the server using a valid username and password. If your user can authenticate then you inherently trust them and allow the mail to be relayed. If the user is remote and cannot authenticate then they're out of luck.
All of this can be configured in Server Admin.
