How to configure two seperate accounts in outlook

I want to create two seperate email folders in Outlook 2011.  I want one folder that is for personal and one folder that is business.  just simply unchecking the group similar folders box does not accomplish this.  Has anyone done this?  can you help?

I would recommend reposting in the Office for Mac Product Forums I think you have a better chance of getting an answer there.

  • Merging files purchased under two seperate accounts.......

I have song within I tunes that were purchased under a specific ITunes account. When I deleted that e-mail account I created another ITunes account with my new e-mail account. I now have a variety of files in Itunes under two seperate accounts. My first question is, how can I merge these accounts so that my files are listed under my active account? Secondly, this is creating problems as I have activated another pc and am trying to synch my original library on the new pc.
    Can anyone help?

You can't merge 2 accounts. The purchase name is embedded in each file and you are going to have to authorize using both accounts forever.
Each account has a limit of 5 PCs that you can authorize. So just activate both PCs with both accounts - use the Store > Sign Out menu item to switch between accounts.
This is a user chat board, and you're welcome to ask iTS support to merge your accounts, but others have not been successful.

  • How to sync two iCloud accounts with MS-Outlook?

    Hi People!
Me and my wife have iPhones and each of us has a personal "[email protected]" account.
We share the same desktop computer at home, and I am wondering how to bring both accounts info (e-mail, contacts and calendar) to the MS-Outlook.
Does anybody knows how to do so??
    Some info:
-We really share the desktop, i.e., we both login using the same ID and we don't want to create separate Windows accounts
-We don't want the contacts to get mixed.
-I already configured the iCloud Control Panel to bring my personal iCloud info into the Outlook, and it is working fine
-I simple couldn't find a way to create a second iCloud Control Panel to configure my wife's iCloud account.
    Thanks for the help!
    Marcello.

You cannot merge two iCloud accounts.
you can delete and keep one iCloud informations on iPhone and then connect to other one, then you just will need to merge the informations.
But you will always have the 2 diferent iCloud accounts.

  • Unable to configure multiple Exchange accounts in Outlook 2013

This is a complicated issue so I will try to describe it the best I can.
I have a client with two SBS servers for two different organizations in two different locations.  Each server handles completely different domains.  Let's call them A and B.
The issue is this...using Outlook 2010 or 2013 on clients at location B, I can configure Outlook for the users mailbox on server B just fine.  Some of the users at location B also have mailboxes on server A.  When I add a 2nd Exchange account for
the users mailbox on server A, things get weird.
Sometimes, when I start Outlook after adding the 2nd Exchange account, Outlook will show only one mailbox, but it is incorrect.  The top level will show it is a mailbox on server B, but it contains email from server A.  When this happens, email
actually transfers from one mailbox to the other.  I have to close Outlook quickly before things get out of hand. About a year ago, I determined that if the user has the same username and password for their mailbox on server A and server B, this would
cause the problem.  So I changed the users' username on server B and it seemed to work with Outlook 2010.
Now, a year later, we have a new user with Outlook 2013 with a mailbox on server A and server B, who works in location B.  I setup Outlook 2013 with mailbox B and it's fine.  I add a 2nd Exchange account for mailbox A to their Outlook Profile,
and when I launch Outlook, it shows both.  BUT, the mailbox A has nothing in it, and the status shows "This folder has not yet updated.  CONNECTED".  Mailbox B shows "All folders up to date.  Connected to Microsoft Exchange".
Also, existing email from mailbox A starts showing up in mailbox B.  If I go into mail account settings, I get the "Outlook is using temporary mailbox" dialog, meaning something has moved.  If I look at the two accounts, both look
to be using the same OST file, even though under data files, there are two OST files, one for each mailbox account.  If I delete the 2nd Exchange account (A), Outlook works again for the single mailbox on server B.
I've tried configuring the accounts without cached mode, but that doesn't work either.  Mailbox B had a delegate account (Full access permissions) to another account on server B, but I have tried removing that also, but no change.
I cannot figure out why I cannot have two Exchange accounts, one from each server (A and B) in Outlook 2013/2010 at the same time.
    HELP!
Thank for any ideas.  I hope I haven't made this too confusing.  One last thing...when I add the 2nd Exchange mailbox, I authenticate with the username on server A with domain\username and their password.  The authentication seems to be accepted
fine and without error.  I have also tried configuring the 2nd account using "automatic" instead of configuring manually.  Same problem.

OK, I have done some more testing as you suggested.  I created yet another new profile with just mailbox A.  When I start Outlook, I see the users mailbox, plus a mailbox that the user has been given Full Permissions to (a delegate?).  There
is one more mailbox that this user has full permissions to, but it did not auto-add itself, so I added the mailbox through the account properties.  Now, all three mailboxes at location A are in Outlook (users mailbox and 2 delegate mailboxes).  In
Outlook, on the left, has at the top the users main mailbox, and then below it are two other "branches" for the delegate mailboxes.  I did NOT use cached exchange mode, btw.
I quit Outlook and edited the profile, adding another exchange account for the users mailbox at location B.  I did a "check-name" and authenticated OK.
I launched Outlook, and the same (wrong) thing happens.  On the left pane of Outlook, at the top, it shows it is the users mailbox at location B (the main branch says Mailbox name -- location B), but all the folders and content are from mailbox at location
    A.  Outlook has mixed it up, and it is at this point that email starts moving between mailboxes, so I quit Outlook quickly.  It did show the two delegate mailboxes from location A, but there were just three "branches", and nowhere is there
    the real mailbox B.
Can it have anything to do with the fact that these accounts have delegates (or are given full manage permissions to other mailboxes on the  server)??
UPDATE:  I just determined something.  When looking at the Outlook email accounts dialog, for each account it shows the default delivery location.  For the first account (location A), it shows:
"Selected account delivers new messages to the following location:  usersemail@locationA\Inbox".
When I add the users mailbox for location B, it shows:
"Selected account delivers new messages to the following location:  usersemail@locationB\Inbox".
However, when I start Outlook, and see that things are wrong and quit, I go back into the accounts dialog, and BOTH accounts are set to deliver to the SAME location:
"Selected account delivers new messages to the following location:  usersemail@locationA\Inbox".
So now, the 2nd exchange account has changed it's location to deliver to mailbox A instead of B.
    Crazy stuff.

If you can't add it automatically, you probably need some help from your company's helpdesk.  It would be best to contact them because they may have some settings that are specific to their environment.

    Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If that is the only email option you have, then your account with your carrier does not contain what is needed to use their BlackBerry Internet Service -- that service, which they control, is what provides the bridge between your BB and internet facing email systems. Contact your carrier and ask them what you need to do with them in order to provide you the services you desire.

  • Two email accounts and outlook integration

    Hi, all-
We are using the Outlook Integration in B1 version 2007A p. 42. My Outlook version is 2007.  We are morphing to emailing invoices to customers instead of snail-mailing them.  My problem is I have an accounting user that has 2 email accounts as we run different divisions in B1 all out of the same company.  B1 does not give her the option to choose what email account to send from - it simply sends from her default email account.  This causes a huge problem as she has to manually switch her default email account in Outlook every time she sends for a different division.  This is prone to huge human error issues.
All of our business partners are assigned by division using a division designation stored in a UDF.
Question: is there any way I can configure B1 to somehow send this division designation to Outlook, and can I configure Outlook to read this field, add the proper divisional signature to the email, then send it through the proper account?
    Thanks,
    Shelby

Maybe you should ask on a Microsoft forum rather than one dedicated to the using the iPhone in an enterprise environment.

  • How to merge two Apple accounts by migration

    Hello to you all
My question relates about merging two apple accounts.
Having two accounts is an issue (for instance when you start setting up Family sharing, or trying to get phone calls on your Mac)
As we know, merging two accounts is alas (still ?) not possible.
But it should be possible to address the issue it my migrating data.
As many people, I have two accounts:
Account A: [email protected], with all my purchases (iTunes, apps, machines)
Account B: [email protected], with my calendar, contacts, bookmarks, photos...
The best possible option seems to keep account A:
    - Transfer the data from B to A
    - Possibly transferring the [email protected] address into A
    - Close B
    About the data transfer:
    - Transferring iCloud documents is easy (using the Finder)
    - Transferring contacts, events bookmarks is also easy as they can be exported (ex .VCF or html)
    - Transferring Notes can be done by moving the notes from the iCloud list to the On my Mac List
    - Transferring Passwords and Photostreams is difficult (No Export solution for KeyChains, No way to transfer ownership of a photo stream)
    - I do not know yet about transferring the iCloud email address [email protected] into the [email protected]
    So my questions are:
    1) Do you have any idea about transferring Passwords in KeyChain from one iCloud account to another ?
    2) Do you have any idea about transferring ownership of a photo stream to one iCloud account to another ?
    3) Do you have any idea about the email address transfer
    4) Do you have any other way to do this ?
    Thanks for your attention
    Kind regards

The easiest thing to do would be to use an iOS device, such as your iPhone to migrate the data from one account to the other.  You can go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign out of account B, choose Keep on My iPhone and provide your password when prompted, then sign back in using ID A to create a new iCloud account and choose Merge when prompted to upload the data.  This will not migrate notes, which as you said, can be dragged and dropped between accounts on your Mac.
This will also not move your existing iCloud email account.  You cannot move an iCloud email account to a new iCloud account.  You would either have to switch to the new @icloud.com email account that goes with your new iCloud account, or continue to use the existing email account as a "secondary account"  To do this, you would go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud on your iOS devices (and System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud on your Mac), sign back into account B and turn on Mail.  Just be aware that, at least on an iOS device, this would not be push email as push is only supported in the primary iCloud account.
Photo stream cannot be moved between accounts either, not can it be enabled in a secondary account.  If you want to keep your photo stream photos you'll have to either save them to your device, or add them to a shared album before signing out of the existing account (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99).  Another option would be to import them to your iPhoto events, then add them back to your new photo stream using iPhoto when you sign into the new iCloud account on your Mac.
For iCloud keychain, I believe you can turn it off iCloud keychain and you will be given an option to keep a copy of any saved passwords and credit card information on your device.  Then set up iCloud keychain again once you are signed into your new iCloud account.

  • HT201269 how to merge two icloud accounts

I have an Iphone 4s & I bought a Iphone 5S but I have two Icloud accounts instead of one. Can someone help me merging both accounts into one.

You can't merge Apple IDs. If you just created a new one, stop using it. Don't buy anything using it. Sign out of it on our new phone and sign back in with your original Apple ID.

  • How to merge two user accounts?

I have two user accounts I would like to merge into one. What would be the easiest way to go about doing this? I am mostly concerned about moving files, including preferences files, handling the mail accounts and browers bookmarks shouldn't be too troublesome for me.
    Thanks

My favourite way to move files from Account A to Account B:
    1) Log in to the A account.
    2) Locate all the files you want to move. Move them to /Users/A/Public. Note: Don't move any System-created top-level folders, like Documents, Pictures, Music, Movies, etc. Just move their contents.
    3) Log in to the B account.
    4) Navigate with Finder to /Users/A/Public. Drag the files to the Desktop. This will make new copies of them that will have the correct permissions for User B.
    5) Put the new copies of the files away in the appropriate places in B's home folder.
    6) Delete the A user account if it is no longer needed.
Doing it this way will ensure that there are no permissions headaches with the files after they are moved.
Also, make sure that you BACK UP all of your data before starting.

Outlook.com replaced Hotmail.  Using the Outlook.com option when setting it up is correct.
Do you have 2 step verification enabled on your Hotmail account?

  • My family all use my iCloud account to backup their phones, meaning there is not enough space for me. How can we have seperate accounts without the risk of any of us having data/photos erased or lost?

Hi. We have 4 iPads and 3 iPhones in our household. I have my own apple ID which my whole family use. This was fine until IOS6 came out, and I found I wasn't able to back up my phone because the rest of my family have used all my iCloud storage! We've now decided we all want seperate IDs and seperate iCloud accounts, but we're worried if we delete iCloud from any of the devices that it will also delete our apps, pictures, data etc. Can someone guide me along the right path here?
    Thanks
    Carly

Yes....On each device, go under "Settings....iCloud" and DELETE ACCOUNT.  This doesn't do anything to the data itself...it just "disconnects" that device from that particular account.  Then each person/device can set up their own iCloud account for storage, backup, etc.  As was mentioned above, everyone can maintain the same Apple ID for App Store to share music purchases and such, but make sure the different iCloud accounts exist when you go to restore something or you'll have someone else's stuff or a big mix of everybody's.  Don't ask me how I know this.
