          I have two machines ready for clustering. I started the two machines. How do I
          know whether these machines are in cluster? I went through the console in one
          the machine and it shows both the servers name under the cluster name. Does the
          entries in the Console under the cluster name confirms that both the servers are
          clustered?

I have recently bought a new smart phone (Vodafone Smart Mini 4) and have been a premium account user for over a year now. When choosing to go offline, in order to listen to my downloaded playlists, Spotify keeps telling me this: "To confirm that you're still a premium user, please go online now. Thanks". However, no matter how many times i then go online with the smart phone (and through loging in on my personal computer) this message still appears and any downloaded playlists sieze to exist.
If anyone could tell me what i am doing wrong, i would be eternally grateful! I have never had any problem using Spotify Premium before so i am very confused.

are there any th;umbrules/ ways to confirm that xdb is working fine? To my understanding, its more related to converteing oracle db data (comound data types) into xml .... is this right? We need to convert LCRs to xml and are getting exceptions:SQLERRM:: ORA-31021: Element definition not found; debugging which said taht xmlddb should be installed.
We are using oracle 10G R2 (10.2.0.4) db (only db and no app server or etc).

Why not use DBCA? It can install all major DB options. Other then that, the script is catqm.sql:

Please confirm that stubs are thread-safe

Can someone please confirm that if one is to invoke the same remote method from more than one thread in a client application that one does not need to get multiple remote stubs for the same RMI server object. As long as the implementation of the remote method is thread safe, everything okay, correct?
In otherwords, are remote stubs them selves thread safe? I always assumed they were.

Stubs are threadsafe. The reason is that a second concurrent invocation via the same stub will use a new TCP connection. I took this up with Sun once and the response was along the lines 'if it doesn't say it isn't thread-safe, it's thread-safe'.
It's the method implementation at the server that isn't thread-safe, unless you make it so.

I am not sure if you want to go to the stage when the storage-enabled node = 0 as this would force the data loss. My suggestion would be to check if the storage-enabled node in the Grid counts less than 5 or so.
Re the ways, you can always start the reporter by using the system property -Dtangosol.coherence.management.report.autostart=true and you can always set the frequency to run the report. This report will keep all the JMX related data since the reporting is started. You can also run a background process that reads the Mbean and checks for the storage-enabled nodes. There are ways to do it using the shell script by polling the active PIDs on Storage enabled nodes.

How can i know that servers are up and running?

hello everyone...
i have a distributed application which does the following.. a client submits a job which is passed from one server to another and after some processing on each server the job is returned back to the client.. the thing is that i want to make the whole application more reliable... how can i found out if the next server that i am going to submit the job is up and running?
the client has decided the order of the servers that should be followed but when a server processes the job another one may "die..." and i am telling you that because i cannot check if the cast of the objectReference fails when i make the list on the client...
is there any function that i can call to the orb and find that out ?

How to confirm that the chains are de-schedule?

Hi Moderators & Experts,
Is there any way to view/find/identify that the chains have been stopped or de-scheduled??
like any Table or monitor screen with red or green signals.
For ex : i have 30 chains and due to outrage i have De-scheduled all the chains using the "Remove from schedule " option from scheduler menu,just to re-confirm is their any table or monitor to identify that the changes have been done correctly and no chain is left while performing the activity.

in SM37 if you see any "BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER" scheduled then there are process chains that are still scheduled.

Hi Swathi,
You can only get this information if the query/ workbook is enabled for statistics logging in transaction RSDDSTAT.
If it is enabled you can goto table RSDDSTAT ( BW 3.5) or RSDDSTAT_OLAP( BI 7.0 ) to see the users who executed the query . These tables store all the information per query session and you will find more than one rows per session but you can find the information you want i.e. users executing a particular query / workbook.
Also Tcode: SU01 will give you all the user lists in the server.

Since you sent me the same question by PM, I thought I would reply here as well.
The build records indicate your system was manufactured on 3-15-13 and were listed with FRU 42Y0528 however, I do find 04X1240 and it is also a backlit keyboard for T530 ... see the part list here.
It is possible there was a part substitution to an alternate part or later level part available which still scanned in under the original part for some reason during manufacturing.
Warranty started 3-17-2013 and will currently expire 4-30-2016 so it looks like it has an extra 6 weeks added to it to allow for inventory sell through. I would assume it was sold through a business partner.
I don't see any reason to indicate the system is not new. When you received it, were the seals on the plastic bags still in place?
