How to connect 3g dongle to android Lenovo Ideapad A10?

Hi...
I have just purchased android Lenovo Ideapad A10 , my question is which univesal dongle supports for this model , i had try with Iball Airway & Dlink 3G dongel but not connected to the GSM network , Its shows error while searchin d network , i hv also insert the New APN setting but still not connected to the network.

i think you should contact your service provider or let them fix it for you. We had same problem for my a8-50, i think its just the same. after two weeks annoying my network provider i can connect my tab now to 3g network.

  • Language change : Lenovo ideapad A10

    Hi,
I bought lenovo ideapad A10 serial no. UB02114387 from Oman. There are only three language options given viz, Arabic, French and some other language. How can I change to english. I called technical support in India but could not get a satisfactory reply. Please suggest.

It's a totally your problem. I think you messed up your tab by rooting and by using wrong app from playstore. Make sure permissions to systemui.apk and .odex are rw-r-r.

  • How to connect the wrt120n to android

My mother in law bought my daughter a impression android tablet for Christmas it connects fine at public hotspots but I can not get it to connect to our wrt120n router at home. I have tried everything I know to add it. It asks for the password then says getting IP address then disconnects. What can I do to fix this besides pull my hair out.

    You can try the following:
    # Open up the browser and on the address bar type 192.168.1.1 that will open up the Router setup page.
    # Then Click on wireless Tab select Channel Width to 20 MHz only and Channel to 6, 9, and 11. Click Save Settings.
    # Click on wireless Security tab and lower down the security level of the wireless.
#Adjust the following advanced wireless settings:
~~ Lower the beacon interval from 100 to 50
~~ Lower the fragmentation threshold from 2346 to 2306
~~ Lower the RTS threshold from 2347 to 2304
After doing the following settings then try to connect the android tablet and check the connectivity..

  • How do I connect multiple displays to a Lenovo 405

how do I connect multiple displays to a Lenovo 405 running windows 7?  I tried a video card but the built in amd video port would not function with the video card plugged in.
Moderator Note; subject edit, post moved to here

    hi harry13,
    Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
If you're referring to the Lenovo® H405, this unit has an integrated VGA and HDMI out according to this pdf data sheet.
If you'll be using a flat panel monitor (that usualy has a VGA connector and a single link DVI D digital interface), you will need to connect 1 monitor to the VGA out and use an HDMI to single link DVI-D converter on the other monitor. You might need to scan for hardware changes under the device manager to identify the monitor that's connected to the HDMI to DVI-D converter. Note that you need to change the video setup under BIOS to IGD or the onboard graphics.
If you'll be using your discrete video adapter for the multi-monitor setup, you must change the video setup to PEG under the BIOS and the video card must have a vga or hdmi/dvi out.
Also, see these guides as a reference:

Dual monitor setup: Two monitors are better than one
    Hope this helps.

  • [Solved] How to connect to a specific getty over ssh android client?

    Hey,
I'm trying to setup a sshd for laptop. I want to be able to connect to a specific terminal or a virtual one using android phone.
At the moment I've setup an openssh as per wiki article. But when I connect using ConnectBot for android I see that terminal is trying to "startxfce4", which is already started on the actual laptop, shows me an error and that's it.
I don't use any login manager, just start x automatically on tty1.
    Thanks

  • How to connect a Sony Bravia TV to the internet through your Airport network

Since it took me a lot of time to figure out how to connect my Sony Bravia TV to the internet through my Airport network, I better share how to do it. Hopefully saving others a lot of time.
My 32EX600 Sony Bravia TV is Ethernet connected to my Mac Mini, which is part of my Airport network, together with another Mac, an Airport Extreme Base Station and an ADSL modem/router. Moreover, the Mac Mini is connected to the TV by HDMI.
Whatever I tried in the TV’s Wired Network Set-up (Auto, or Manual with manual IP, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS IPs), I couldn’t get it right. Cable Connection and Local Access were mostly OK, Internet Access always Failed.
The solution lies in the Sharing panel of the System Preferences of the Mac Mini. In the Internet Sharing item of that panel, you should choose to “share your internet connection from WiFi to computers (the TV in this case) using Ethernet“, and NOT (as I had chosen before and seemed so obvious) “share your internet connection from Airport to computers using Ethernet“. After that change, the Bravia Network Set-up, using the Wired and Auto options, flawlessly connected to the internet. No expensive (Sony) WiFi USB dongle needed.

I have now had a detailed reply from Sony Europe and the way to do this is to:
    1.       Press Home on the TV Setup
    2.       Use the right and left arrow to select Setting.
    3.       Use the up and down to select Network, press Enter.
    4.       Select Network Setup.
    5.       Select Wireless setup.
    6.       Select Scan
    7.       Select your network
    8.       A new screen will appear asking for entering the security key.
    9.       Enter your WPA2 key.
    10.   Select Enter.
    11.   It will take you back to the same screen asking for entering the
    security key.
    12.   Press the right arrow.
    13.   Select Auto.
    14.   Press the right arrow.
    15.   Select Save and connect.
These instructions are not the same as shown on the TV but they worked fine for me so they may help others with a similar problem.
