How to connect broadband(wired)connection to mobil...

Hi,
Anybody give me solution to connect a broadband connection to my mobile[N70-1] through a PC.[Is it possible]

the link you provided refers to Gnubox and this app is actually what i was referring to in my post when i said unreliable, and too difficult to set.
many have tried to use that, only few trials were successful. and for the time being that is the only app i know of , that promises to allow you to connect through your house internet connection.
on the other hand, "the other way around" using your mobile data plan and internet connection to connect your pc to the internet, is very easy , and as sapprobaby said , all you need comes in the box.

  • Can't connect by wired connection

I just moved into a new house, and ordered a fios connection through Surewest. I bought a LinkSys E3000 Wireless-N Router, and my iMac is connecting fine to the internet wirelessly...however I'm not getting anything when it's wired to the router.
In network settings it says "connected" in the ethernet section, yet if I turn "airport off" I can't load a single page (despite it saying the ethernet is "connected"). My router also shows that there's an active connection. So I connected the data cable directly from the port (the one that's inside the house, not on the router) to my computer, and I still had the same problem. I don't even know where to begin with, I'm not sure if it's a problem with my internet provider, my router, or my computer.

Hardwire the connection directly from your fios to the computer.
Go to the Network Pref Pane and go to Location > Edit.
    Add a new location.
Click Apply at the bottom of the Network window.
    Restart the computer.
Go back to the Network Pref Pane -- what is the IP address you have for your ethernet connection?
If you still don't have an internet connection and the IP address is valid (not 169 or 10 or 192) then power cycle your fios connection (if possible). I turn my modem off for at least 30 seconds if not 5 minutes.
If that doesn't take care of it, try your computer at a different hard wired connection (work, school, Apple Store, etc.). If it works some place else but not at home you may want to call Surewest to make sure they are not using provisioning / MAC Address filtering.
    Hope that helps.

  • Airplay only works whenever Apple TV is connected through wired connection

    Hello,
I got a Apple TV for christmas, however i can't seem to get it working properly with airplay with my ipad mini or iphone.
If i use a wired connection the airplay icon shows up on my ipad and iphone just fine, but if i use the wireless connection
the airplay icon just won't show up, but Apple TV got internet and full signal.
I've use this http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4215 troubleshoot and tried to find others with the same problem with no luck.
It's the same network they are connected to, they both have internet, but no airplay.
I hope anyone can help me fix this, since i only got 1 internet connection in each room, which in this room is used by a computer.
    Thank you in advance.

Have been on Apple products since Apple 2 euro plus in 1982.  Apple TV is strictly a wired product if you want a consistent and reliable product.  Safe to treat it as a Beta product.

  • How to share broadband internet connection on Satellite A200-1VG

    Hi,
I am very new to the world of laptops, 3 days old. In fact, I have a desktop (the OS is XP professional) and have just bought my self a Satellite A200-1VG (the OS is Vista).
I believe it is possible for 2 machines to share a broadband connection, but how I do not know. I must confess to being quite ignorant when it comes to technology ( you have probably gathered that by now) and I ask that any advice given will be given in not too technological language.
Thanks in advance from a newbie.
    MegP

Okay, firstly some routers or mdoems come with 2 ports on the back so you can connect two different computers so simply plug them both in
if not, then i advise you buy a router which allows you to add numerous computers to the same network via wires or add numerous computers wirelessly
i have one computer connect to my netgear router -wired
i have one computer wirelessly connected with a Netgear USB wireless reciever
then i got my laptop which is connected via wireless
i have xbox live which i connect to the internet via my laptops wireless connection, this can be done with any pc or laptop aswell
    what you do is
wireless networks - where it showws any detected networks
change advanced options - on the side
    advanced tab
then allow other computers to use this computers internet connection
    simple as
all you do is plug in your other pc or whatever

  • My laptop is connected to company LAN on wire and I have another active wifi connection provided by a router. Can I use the wifi connection for mozilla connection and the wired for everything else? I'm on Win7.

I have 2 simultaneous active connections:
no1: wired connection to company lan; private IP 172.19..
no2: wireless connection to unrestricted traffic router; private IP: 192.168...
my question: can I use the wireless connection for mozilla traffic and the wired for everything else?
I'm on Windows7 Prof, all security updates installed.

Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center >
Click Change adapter settings from left panel > Open the network connection you want to change the DNS servers for by right click and select Properties > Select
Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties button > Choose the
Use the following DNS server addresses > enter the IP address for a
Preferred DNS server as well as an Alternate DNS server.
    Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
    Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
This IP belongs to Google public DNS.
Note: Wired connections are usually labeled as Ethernet, while wireless ones are usually labeled as

  • Wrt54g - no wired connection - cannot find ethernet port upon setup, cannot get wired connection

I've had my wrt54g router for a little over 1 year.  I had to get support to set up the router initially b/c it could not find the ethernet port when I tried to set it up initially.  I am past that date and recently had to move the router and the PC.  When I tried to redo the setup same issue - i upgraded the firmware and same issue.  If i uplug the router and plug the cable directly from the cable modem into my pc, everything works well, but when i try to set up a wireless connection, the wired connection goes down, but the wireless connection works and i cannot get the wired connection back up.  i am a novice with the device, so any detailed help in trouble shooting the problem and getting me back up on both a wired and wireless basis would be appreciated.

As you upgraded the router's firmware,I would suggest you to reset the router for 30 seconds and configure the router from the scratch.Make sure that the Modem is connected to the router on the internet port and the computer to the router on the ethernet port.
Also check the ip address you are getting on the computer hardwired to the router...Click Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt...A black box will appear(Command Prompt)...In the Command Prompt window type ipconfig and press 'Enter'...Look for Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection IP Address , Subnet Mask and Default Gateway...
IP Address should be 192.168.1.x, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1 (assuming your router is 192.168.1.1)...If you get the above mentioned IP Address, Subnet and Gateway Address then you should ping the Gateway, type ping 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...If it gives you request timed out then disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer...
If you get 4 replies then, try to open the setup page..

  • Can't Connect Via Wired Ethernet Broadband Connection

Replaced a Westell 7500 with a DSL-N10 because of constant disconnects. The Westell had no problem connecting via the wired ethernet broadband connection which I switch to when I need to improve buffering for videos. The DSL-N10 won't connect and reports "Error 651 Modem reported a problem". I reconnected the Westell to determine if there was a problem but it connected to the wired connection immediately. Question is do I need to change or add a setting in the DSL-N10 to get a wired connection or is this something I need to conract Verizon support about?

  • I have samsung corby gts3653 mobile and need to connect internet to mac through it but it doesn't have wifi and pcsuite for mac and how could i able to connect it through gprs? GPRS is active in mobile but unable to link it with macbook pro(using lion os)

i have samsung corby gts3653 mobile and need to connect internet to mac through it but it doesn't have wifi and pcsuite for mac and how could i able to connect it, through gprs? GPRS is active in mobile but unable to link it with macbook pro(using lion os) can any one reply.

Until the MacBook Air was released and supported in 10.5, the Mac did not consider USB to be a valid Networking Protocol. So set the Mac with USB solutions aside.
To connect computer-to-computer, you typically need to be using an Ethernet crossover cable. Assigning the same address to two Ethernet devices is never the solution -- it gives a Network Conflict, just as you said.
If your Windows box has some mechanism for Sharing its WiFi connection over Ethernet, you would have to follow its rules. Whether that means Manually assigning an Ethernet Address in the same range or the PC will provide the Address, I do not know.
Best success may be running an Ethernet cable to your Wired/Wireless Base Station, or using a "gaming adapter" (Ethernet-to-Wireless no drivers required) connected to the Mac's Ethernet port to give it WiFi access. What is your Base Station {Cable, DSL, FIOS, Other} ? Ethernet cables can be up to 100 meters (an American Football Field). Often the Base Station can be moved closer for more convenience.

  • How do I disconnect from Wireless to use wired connection?

Hi - I'm new to this and I apologize if this question is ridiculously easy.
I am using a cable modem in which I have plugged my WRT160Nv2 wireless router. I am supporting three computers here in my home; my laptop (both wired and wireless), my daughters laptop (wireless only), and my desktop (wired only).
Everything works great and I have to give all the credit to CISCO and the excellent software which automatically solves every connection problem that comes up.
My laptop and desktop are connected to the wireless router via cable.
My question is strictly about my laptop. When I leave my office in the house and go into another room, I establish the wireless connection. Now I am back in my home office room, I want to use my wired connection. How do I do this? Do I need to disable my wireless connection so that my wired connection takes over? Again, I do have my laptop connected to the wireless router via cat5.
I want to do this strictly for the speed of the connection. I've read that a wired connection is double if not more in Mbps.
This laptop is running Win XP Pro, SP3.
I hope this furnishes enough info to assist in an answer.
    Thanks in advance.
    John
P.S.. I really do want to educate myself regarding the equipment I am using and not have to ask such basic questions. Are there any books or websites you can recommend that can start me out and go as technical as I choose to?

Windows by default uses the fastest connection possible. If you have a wireless and wired connection active at the same time it depends on how fast both connections are rated. Wireless connections tend to change depending on the distance. Wireless 802.11g goes up to 54 Mbit/s. Wireless 802.11n can go up to some 300 Mbit/s. Wired connections are usually either gigabit ethernet (1000 Mbit/s) or fastethernet (100 Mbit/s).
Thus, which is picked depends on your computer. You should check the connection status of both connections in the network connections control panel. It shows you the current wireless and wired speed (the latter won't change of course). Very often, the wired connection is preferred to the wireless connection. Now with 802.11n connections the wireless connection is preferred if your wired connection is only fastethernet.
As your WRT160Nv2 has only FastEthernet LAN ports you have to check how fast the wireless connection is. If you have a 802.11n wireless adapter in your laptop it may show up the wireless connection faster then 100 Mbit/s. Depending on the setting it may change occassionally between 54 Mbit/s and speeds higher then 100 Mbit/s which would lead Windows to swap connections. If you see that problem it is better to switch off the wireless in the laptop while you have a wired connection...
A wired connection is more reliable and stable then a wireless connection. With wireless you can have interference. Thus, even though a wired connection may be slower then a wireless one you may prefer to use the wired connection anyway. And some people prefer to turn off the wireless to avoid radiation.
To sum up: usually you don't have to switch off the wireless, unless you experience problems because of the mentioned changing speeds of the wireless connection. The computer will always only use one connection. Not both.

  • How can i get an xbox 360 to connect to my time capsule via WIRED connection?

I have a Time Capsule and i need to connect my xbox 360 to it because my stepdad has the network in this house set up crazily. He gets mad if i ask him to change anything because it is how he wants it and it works with EVERYTHING ELSE. I do not have a wireless adapter so i need to connect the xbox to my time capsule via a wired connection
    Thanks =]

Here is what I would look into.
Use iCloud and photo stream to upload pictures taken with the iPad.
Find a remote log in utility, or web based app to then remote to your computer.
Download the files from photo stream to your time capsule.
As far as recommending a remote log in utility. I have not experience in that area and would need to do research my self.

  • Can I connect window device like modem, mobile in oracle forms,if possible then how?

Can I connect window device like modem, mobile in oracle forms,if possible then how?

    Hi Tony,
So explain where you would see your notification?I just mention, Leave module, there are many other module. For example In Purchase Purchase Requigition , Production Module Production Complite , Delivery Module Delivery Ready.
For this it will better to show at respective Menu.
In the Window title?Another good Idea !
You could have a timer trigger that runs every 5 minutes and checks a notification table, if there is an unacknowledged notifcation, then you could change the Window title of the formas app to show a (1) at then end of it.Timer has a bad this.. For example, if i make a timer and run every 5 min. then if user works on a form, timer will hide the form and show the timer window.
    Isn't it ?
Would that do, or do you need more?Yea.. More..It will be like facebook. If any notified work is done by any person, light will go off.
Thanks for your interest and suggestion...
